A Wicked Witches of the Midwest Short - Landon Calling

After beginning by depicting religious Christians as hypocrites and nutcases, Bay later condescends to pity one while lecturing her like a stupid child for objecting to being discarded by her husband. After she "straightens the woman out" warm fuzzies abound. [And yes, this is the same Bay who recently had a total meltdown and all but demanded blood because her boyfriend merely spoke to another woman while undercover.]

This book was hysterical. Landon having and FBI training convention in Hemlock Cove and his boss and a few co-workers staying at the Overlook. Well, if you read this series I'm sure you can only imagine what Aunt Tillie is up to having "the man" not only in her town but her home. You guessed it tormenting then anyway she can. And Noah returns and has the nerve to follow her. Well, whatever she plans for him couldn't more than he deserves. A must read sure to make you smile and laugh out loud.

I love the Wicked Witches of the Midwest series!! I have re-read every book at least once and laugh out loud every single time! It was nice to read a story from Landons perspective and to see his interactions with his boss and co-workers while juggling Aunt Tillie .

I seriously love the Aunt Tillie character she reminds me a lot of my grandma Ruby! I really appreciate the mystery and humor in each book and forward to each new adventure!

In this story Bay's FBI boyfriend and other agents and police officers hold a conference at the Inn. Landon and Chief Terry also have to solve a missing persons report. Meanwhile the witches are being their usual selves with as always Aunt Tilly in the lead. This is a wonderful story that will have you laughing and you can't put it down.

Really enjoyed the book....but wayyyyyy too short. Felt like I just got involved and poof it was over. Turned the page and was like huh???? That can't be the end already. Loved the storyline...just don't get the quick end...deadline issue? I hate to not give 5 stars but just toooooo short.

If you even just like the Winchester witches, you will enjoy this ride. The only fault I have with it is it left me wanting to see what Aunt Tilly did with Noah and Chris. I know this was Land on PIC, but I love Aunt Tilly. As always can wait for the next installment in this series.

Favorite author and favorite series. I am a fan of all series by Amanda M. Lee. Love these shorts. Aunt Tillie is my hero.

Like another reader/reviewer: My husband sometimes thinks I've gone LOOPY or 'round the bend with laughter. Then I read the passages to him. He gets it.

This may be my favorite short just because I love Landon and was so excited for his POV. The concept of having the FBI train at the Overlook was a fun twist! The mystery was interesting (but depressing) and I was surprised by how things turned out.

Another good book.....I especially enjoyed it from Landons point of view. As usual, we have the regular crew, plus a few previously mentioned....Steve boss of Landon and a co worker(the ass).... loved it, can't wait for the next one...!

I never get tired of reading these stories. I love the way the characters interact and the story interesting from start to finish. The only problem is that the story always ends to soon. Another winner. Please keep them coming. ??

I eager await each and every book in this series! I can't wait to see what the Winchesters will pull off next! Aunt Tillie never fails to make me laugh! The mystery is almost like a bonus but the characters are just so darn great!

Every one of the Wicked Witches of the Midwest is a fun read. The characters are quirky and funny and the stories are just complex enough to keep the plot moving while allowing the reader to enjoy the fun.
