This is a very helpful book. I have gallstones and since I've been following the advice in this book, I have no pain in my gallbladder and I haven't needed to have my gallbladder removed. And it seems as though my gallbladder will be healed in about 6months and my stones are shrinking down to nothing. I feel so good and so relieved.

The book, which was delivered quickly/on time, is a great book and exactly what I wanted. The problem is inside the box were many, many medium sized ants (maybe termite ants. Some had wings). It was creepy and left stains on the book.

I obtained this book with an open mind, and perhaps the authors mean well, but they miss the mark on
so many levels of scholarly and applied understanding of the natural healing arts, I use this book as
an example of how NOT to interpret , practice, and approach natural medicine. The "Medical" Naturopath
is a dangerous and off-kilter hybrid - somewhere between solid classical allopathic education, and veered
far and away from Traditional Naturopathy (which it is not), this type of naturopathy comes off as a sad
wanna be of both or either- yet these people have done some impressive image-management throughout a few
states in the country and also managed to thoroughly confuse the general consumer to think they are the
only "valid" naturopath practitioners- which of course they are not, and are outnumbered by Traditional
Naturopaths , who are gaining ascendancy.
Within this book, the bizarre "materia medica" of diseases (allopathic diseases I might add) are
served up with "treatments " that tell the reader nothing of how to prepare, administer, and stay with most
suggestions. They are medical diseases, loosely defined, with a few "natural" supplements thrown at them
as if as ammunition. That is just not how traditional naturopathic scope of practice ever works. - but
it is apparently the shoddy way "medical" naturopathic "physicians" work. Please see a well trained TRADITIONAL
NATUROPATH whenever you can instead of one of these people. (although they are now trying to co-opt that term,
traditional, as well)
Add to this, all the unnecessary "air quotes" on every page, as if the concepts held within these quotes
are odd, bizarre, new, unique, or unintelligible - and the hundreds of over the top (!!!)exclamation marks punctuating
the entire text, adding an air of chintzy drama that was perhaps intended to demonstrate authority?
One can only wonder. Tiresome read. An excerpt on "date rape", page 294 (!!!): Prevention 7) pick a weapon you are prepared to use- this requires practice, practice and more practice!- with the mindset that you will kill an attacker!-
pick a small handgun you are not afraid to use and empty the weapon into the attacker!! this will prevent him
from grabbing you and from using the weapon against you!!!. Carry your weapon with you at all times! "Praise
the Lord and Pass the Ammunition!!" (Yes, this is really within the book content)

Playing Doctor is exactly what he is doing. After listening to "Dr" Wallach I thought he had some interesting ideas. But since finding out about his connection with Longevity, an MLM marketing scheme, I came to realize that he has very little credibility.

The American medical system will milk you for every dime you have if you do not take control of your own health. Let's Play Doctor will give you your life and health back. It did mine. Because of it, I am off all my meds and no longer suffer from arthritis, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. I also suggest Dead Doctors' Don't Lie, Rare Earths-Forbidden Cures and Dr. Wallach's new book Immortality.

This book is a must for anyone wanting to understand what supplements to take, how much, and what happens when your body doesn't get them. Written by a doctor who has actually performed the research himself!!

Unfortunately, Dr. Wallach and this load are a load of something else. Coming from a 25-year sufferer of Cystic Fibrosis, his outrageous claims that CF is not a genetic disease and can be "prevented and cured" by proper nutrition have made several in the CF community extremely angry. To think that a veterinarian would try to dispute years of research on a genetic HUMAN disease is absurd. Dr. Wallach has been discredited time and time again and is an embarrassment to the medical community.
