All I Want for Christmas Is a Vampire (Love at Stake, Book 5)

I really enjoyed reading this book, BUT my ONE complaint against the book was the whole "Christmas thing." Granted, this book came out right at Christmas time, which, in this instance, was pretty much "Season approiate," but other than that one complaint, the book was great. The part that I like the best was where Ian helps Toni get Toni's friend's uncle to "Help out" basically. I just wish that Kerryln Sparks would do another vampire-goes-back-to-being-mortal book, like she did in "Vamps In the City," (book # 3.)

Another thing that I really liked about this book was that I got an "Employee discount" through my work to get this book, (I actually ended up paying $4 TOTAL for this book and that was for the shipping to have the book shipped to my house.) Getting this book on a discount made the "Christmas present for me," (this book) extra special as a present and made my day when it showed up at my house.

This was one of my favorite Kerrelyn Sparks's books! Her characters are always sexy/sweet and broody. Ian is such a sweetie in all of the books it's nice to finally see him find someone who just might love him for being a vampire.
The thing I really like about all of her books is that you don't have to have read the one right before it to understand what's going on in the series, the books always catch you up but it doesn't ruin it for you for the other books. These are books I just can't put down!

Once of the most impressive things about Kerrelyn Sparks' books is how consistently good they are. They're funny, each hero and heroine is distinct from all the previous ones, and they have chemistry out the wazoo. There's a great suspenseful story line. This book is no exception. It's just fabulous.

Bonus: Carlos Panterra, a new secondary character who heats up the page. I won't say anything more for fear of spoilers, but I sure hope he gets his own book.

I really enjoyed this book. Everytime I read one of Kerrelyn's novels about the Scottish vampires I laugh out loud. My kids don't know why I am laughing so much as I read the book. Their cute kilts with their Scottish dialect is too much! I enjoyed this book verra verra much!
I also like how Kerrelyn brings back all the characters from all the past books.
I am waiting patiently for the next book after The Vampire and the Virgin.

Picked it up off the shelf one year around Christmas time when I was feeling lonely, and got sucked right into the story with the way Sparks creates such sexual tension between the human girl and the vampire. My favorite part of the book was the way she described making love to a vampire. I couldn't help but blush every time I started reading the book because I felt like I was living my very own paranormal romance. It's definitely a scintillating read I'd recommend to any hopeless romantic who digs vampires.

This is the newest Love at Stake novel follwing Ian and his journey to find love after the events of the Undead next Door. I have always loved Ian's character and it keeps getting better. Seeing him adjust to his new body is hilarious and heart-warmnig. Don't we all only want to be loved for who we are.

This is a wonderful book. Great interaction between the characters and great story line. Very hot. I had a hard time putting it down. This is my first book of Kerreyln Sparks to read and now I'm anxious to read more of her very talented books.

Kerrelyn Sparks does a great job putting suspense and laughter together!! I love this series and am glad that Ian finally gets the girl!! This is an author for anyone who loves to laugh and loves to read vampire books!! Try it and you won't regret it!

Toni is the newest victim of the Malcontents and the newest Day Guard for the Good Vampires. Then she runs into the hot vampire Ian and boy is he hot in his kilt. Toni knows she has a plan, she has to get Sabrina out of the psych ward and to prove vampires exist. She can't tell Ian what is going on and Ian knows she is hiding something. With the war with the Malcontents heating up can Ian convince Toni that there is more than humans and vampires to consider and that she must follow her heart? Great read and I loved Ian and Toni! Another hit from Kerrelyn Sparks in the Love at Stake Series.
