i love this author's style and world building. it is also pretty much clean writing... this is a companion series or spin off series from the Mercy Thompson books (which i tend to swallow whole as soon as they come out)

I have enjoyed every book she has written. This story started out with a character that I have never been fond of before. He was too quiet and cool for my taste. And the heroine was a tad to submissive. But after page 2 I was utterly consumed in the story. I an now in love with Charles and wishing this was a full length story. Thank you again ms. Briggs for your story

Nice side story to the Mercy Thompson series and the characters are engaging in their own way. This would be a good book to read in between those stretches of Mercy Thompson releases if you want to still be in that world.

Patrica Briggs was recommended to me by a friend. It is fast and full of entertainment with stories that grab your attention and don't let go. I started off reading the Mercy Thompson series and soon found myself begging for more when came across the Alpha and Omega series and knew I had to have it. I was not disappointed.

I give props to Patrica Briggs for being one of the best writers out there today. Alpha and Omega is no acceptation to the true talent of Patrica Briggs.

I really enjoyed this book. I love Patricia Brigg's characters and she doesn't disappoint in this story. The book revisits a few of Brigg's previous characters from CRY WOLF and the Mercy Thomas series. It is about werewolves and romance but also about self awareness and self worth.

Briggs is one of the most consistently entertaining authors of our time and this novella is clear proof. Even though I had previous knowledge of the characters, she created a story substantial enough within itself that prior knowledge was not necessary. This is a fabulous addition to the Alpha & Omega series.

This is a slim volume, but the story is wonderful. While most of the information has already came out in the other two books in this story, here we finally get to see Anna and Charles meet. It felt like finally reading the first book in the series.

This was a very entertaining and engaging novella. I was introduced to Ms. Briggs through her Mercedes books and I like this series just as much. This is a great introduction to our Omega wolf. You can see why Charles is interested in her. Great taste for the books to come!

Loved this novella! I downloaded it on my kindle the other day and started reading as soon as it was there. I finished it after about an hour and could not put it down the whole time. As soon as I finished it, I ordered the next two books in the series from the store. I had already read all of the Mercy Thompson series and am really excited to read this series now about Anna and Charles.

Charles is his father's enforcer, making sure that the world of the werewolves is fair, Anna is the lowest and most mistreated member of her pack. When Charles meets her, he realises she's not just a submissive wolf, she's something special - an Omega wolf. So why do her pack mistreat her when they should treat her as a treasure? The prequel to Cry Wolf.

I read the full-length novel concerning these characters first, wanted to fill in how they met. I do like Briggs' writing style and this short story did not disappoint me. If you aren't familiar with her Mercy Thompson universe, however, this may not be the best place to start.

Just as I adore the Mercy Thompson characters, I'm adoring the Alpha and Omega subset as well! This is a terrrific world that Briggs has created with a wealth of fantastic characters that keep you rooting for them from page one right through to the very end!
