This wonderful novel was the only missing book in our Robyn Carr collection. I think we had to wait for a second printing, but it was worth the wait! Our only "complaint" is that the stories are not listed in chronological order, which is how we would have liked to read them. We recommend this series to anyone, who loves character development. All elements of enjoyable reading are present in every book.

Robyn Carr continues to develop strong characters (both female and male) and an adventurous story line that allows me to enjoy the plot and develop a relationship with the cast.
This series is supposed to be aimed at the "girl" audience but the more I read of Robyn's work the more this Aussie bloke appreciates her writing skills and hopes to read all of the Virgin River series.

TV network took away my soap opera All My Children, which was a very stupid move in my opinion. I have never watched The Chew, it's replacement, and I never will. Now I read this series instead, enjoying how the characters' lives are intertwined.

I have really enjoyed the Virgin River books and this one was really good, too. Will always purchase one of the series whenever I see it and I think I have read them all. Anyone looking for a good story, this series and this book will give some considerable enjoyment.

As always, Robyn Carr is able to bring characters on the written page to life and make the reader care about their joys and problems. Reader are taken to another place where we feel as if we are a part of the community and everyday life. Great book!

This is a true romance, with strong characterization. It also deals well with important social issues. It has more meaningful contact than many romances. I have really enjoyed these books. I would prefer less sexual content and that is the only reason i did not rate it a 5!

I purchased several of this series after reading a book that was written later in the series. I obviously enjoyed the first book I read. I enjoyed two more that I picked up. They were a quick read with likable characters. It is the kind of book I read a chapter before I go to bed to unwind. I do not need to think, just unwind. Because I went back to the beginning of the series. This book is among the early books. There are too many pages of sex. The characters are not developed. The relationships are shallow.

One of the three novels comprising the Virgin River Trilogy - another winner. As an avid reader with eclectic tastes, I found this to be a book I could not put down. I often reread my favorite books and am keeping this one along with its companions for just that reason.
