Fast Track was so good I actually bought a verbal copy (gave me a sense of voices of the characters!) as well as a "read" version. I continue to impatiently wait for another book written by her! Treat yourself and read the entire Sisterhood Series!

This series is entertaining even if the story line is a little silly. It takes a mind set to ignore the preposterous plot lines, but it is worth it for fun, light reading. The characters are more realistic than the stories which keeps me coming back to the next in the series.

I really liked this one. Intense, edge of the seat reading for me. Loved it. I made the mistake of sitting down and reading a part of this book while I was hungry. Not a good idea. The part of the story I was reading was good but the description of the food sounded so good I had to lay the book down and go eat. So I compromised. Prepared some food and rushed right back to eat it as I read the book. Win-Win. It was worth it. A wild ride that didn't disappoint me.
I could hardly wait to find out what the punishment is going to be for the bad guy. The team is really good at making the punishment fit the crime. And they did it again with this one too. It really did fit. I liked re-visiting all the people in the story. The vigilantes and their love interests too. Plenty of twists, turns, surprised and sudden trouble. Okay, I am on to reading the next book, hope its as good.

After their return from luxurious exile in Barcelona (see HOKUS POKUS) the Sisterhood sets up their newest headquarters on Big Pine Mountain, North Carolina. The new digs for the vigilante team is more of a military compound with access by cable car or helicopter only. Soon afterward, their mentor Charles Martin introduces the magnificent seven to their new employers, who have flown in during a stormy night by helicopter for more than just welcome to the team greetings.

The visitors give the Sisterhood seven a blank check from their own pockets to find two billion dollars targeted for poor countries apparently embezzled from the World Bank. They accept the assignment though each knows the danger, but besides trying to return the 2B loot so the needy can have it, the blank check for them to fill in the amount will also help those in need.

This is a refreshing albeit over the top of Big Pine Mountain (duh - it is the Sisterhood) thriller in which the magnificent Seven's significant others participate in active support roles to the modern day female Robin Hoods. The tale is engaging as the Seven and their cohorts show how a team working cohesively can achieve mission impossible.

Tucked away in the mountains of N. Carolina, Michaels' "Sisterhood" only come out of hiding when they are requested by someone to bring justice to some situation. This well trained group of women with questionable backgrounds band together to get the job done.
The details of their plan of action was fascinating to follow. Their mentor Charley Martin uses his connection to people in high places to make certain the plan is enacted and the women are safe as well as kept undercover. A fascinating and entertaining read.

I have read almost the entire series of the sisterhood books. Absolutely love them. They do what we would like to do to our worst enemy but with such care. So much fun to read. Would love to have every one I know read them so we can compare notes and laughter over their revenge. Please get them all and truly enjoy them all. Fern does a great job on all of her books but these are fun!!!

Fast Track by Fern Michaels is a vigilante group of women in action to right wrongs. In this novel, they take on the head of the World Bank, involved in crooked money schemes. Fiction lovers, and followers of fast paces thrillers will like this the most.

The dialog reads like a Young Adult novel with grown ups instead of teens. I'm halfway through the book and I'm not sure if I'm going to finish it. If you're looking for a book that doesn't challenge the intellect, this is it.

Just love all Fern Michaels Sisterhood series. Waiting for next one. She keeps you on edge of the chair, waiting for the outcome and a little nervous if they make it and don't get caught. The series is great because there really isn't all that gore and yuk some writers feel turns a reader on-Not this person. I like other Fern Michaels stories as well. this was one of my favorite themes.

Right off the bat, I was suspicious that this book was a waste of my time. Fortunately, it's a quick read, so not that much time lost! The characters were undeveloped and unsympathetic. The plot was ridiculous. These seven women & their mentor are supposed to be the best of the best in covert ops, but their solution for sneaking into Washington DC was completely inane. And when they started to mete out their punishment on a bad guy, they were pitiless yet downright silly about the whole thing. The author struggles to give each of the seven women in the sisterhood equal time in the dialog, which contributes to her failure to develop any of the women into plausible, sympathetic characters. If I hadn't been a captive audience in a jury assembly room, I would not have bothered. You don't need an excuse. Just take my word for it. This book will give you little to nothing in exchange for the time you sacrifice to read it. I would have given it less than half a star, if I had had that option.

A friend of my introducted me to the Sisterhood series. At first I was not interested, but found myself enjoying them. I'm giving this book a **** rating because I was disappointed that the relationship between Katheryn and Bert was non-existant. I'm guessing that will come in a future book. This book left me feeling like I was running in circles trying to catch up, not enough interaction with the couples, which is a big part of the story line. How will them make things work between them? I look forward to the next book.

I have started reading The Sisterhood series, after rereading The Weekend Warriors. In a 3 month time frame, which includes real life with a job, family, and not enough time in the day I am onto book # 13. Being an avid reader, this is not the only book I am reading at one time, I generally am reading at least 3 books at a time. It has been a long, long time since I have started a series with so much to enjoy.

These sisterhood books of hers are terriffic- 1 of us buys them & are passed around to about 25 of us @ the hospital. They may have many pages but they are quick, delightful stories that oh wouldn't some love to have them help us or friends to right extreme wrongs.
