Well, all the answers are here! No more wondering how the ladies make it off the mountain in Spain! Ms. Michaels does not disappoint in her newest edition to the Sisterhood series.

I found the book well written, fast paced and very fun to read. It was a nice escape from all the wrapping and shopping for holiday gifts!

Once again, I am anxious to read the next installment!

Thank you, Fern Michaels! You Rock!!!

Sincerely, a fan, Linda (L A Jewel)

Book 9 in the Sisterhood series where the ladies who are now helping Supreme Court Chief Justice Pearl Barnes who is being blackmailed by her ex son-in-law. Pearl has been doing a bit of her own underground, illegal brand of justice. Again the ladies are leaving their exile to come back to the US and hope not to be captured. Another great book in the series. The only negative I have for the book is that there are getting to be too many characters being added and to the Sisterhood. I personally enjoyed it more with just the main characters.

The magnificent seven who make up the Sisterhood have been forced into luxurious exile in Barcelona as their merry escapades of exacting vengeance on men who done them wrong was so successful, law enforcement noticed. At the same time they enjoy their "vacation", US Supreme Court Justice Pearl Barnes is being blackmailed by her odious former son-in-law Tyler Hughes. He threatens to expose her and her underground railroad she operates to transport women and children to safety from abusing men.

Pearl does not want to pay off this blackguard, but likes his concept of extortion so she contacts the Sisterhood and with a bit of blackmailing obtains their services. The septet knows they cannot just return to Americas as themselves as they will be arrested at customs. Instead, they must play HIDE AND SEEK knowing the FBI desires PAYBACK and Maggie's former lover Ted Robinson wants SWEET REVENGE. They decide to impersonate the Australian G-String Girls.

The latest Sisterhood thriller is an amusing entry as the seven samurai sneak back into the States to cause mayhem. The story line is as always implausible but absolutely enjoyable as fans will once again root for these ladies to succeed in their newest wild endeavor. HOKUS POKUS is a zany over the top tale filled with action, mirth and mayhem.

Fern Michaels continues to keep me enthralled with her "Sisterhood" series. I can not put down the books as they become available and I can't wait for the next one to be published!

Hokus Pokus focus is to help Justice Pearl Barnes stop blackmail by her husband and son-in-law, and transport the people she is aiding to freedom from abuse. When the Sisterhood comes to the rescue, they find themselves with many hurdles to overcome. But with the determination and the brains of these women, not to mention Charles' help, they do succeed in their mission.

They have moved from Annie's beautiful mountain in Spain to Big Pine Mountain in North Carolina. It will be interesting to see how things develop for them as a group, as well as the individual lives of Nikki and Jack, Yoko and Harry, Kathryn and Bert. The dynamics of the "new group" consisting of Judge Easter, Lizzie and Maggie now in the mix, should continue to only make the Sisterhood stronger and more effective. Is there a future for Alexis and the gardener? I'm always amazed with the contacts that Charles has across the world. Those contacts seem to always be available to help. I do hope that Ted Robinson is gone forever.

The World Bank??? What kind of challenge will that bring the Sisterhood? Hurry Fern Michaels. I can hardly stand the wait to read all about it!

Fern Michaels has managed to keep this follow up series to the Sisterhood just as fresh and fast paced as always. This one had plenty of action, suspense, and humor. Annie always makes me laugh. The sisterhood is sneaking back into the US in plain view of the media and the public to help out the female Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. Both the Sisterhood and the Second String are in fine form. This is definitely a series written by a woman for women. Can't wait for the next one!

With addition of four new members the ladies of Pinewood accept their newest assignment for a friend. This book will not disappoint Fern Michaels' readers. Every book seems to keep readers on the edge of their seat until the final moment when the Pinewood Ladies relax until the next mission.

Good book. I'm reading through the Sisterhood series and found this was a little thin on action, but love the make-up they had to use this go-round. I just wonder how they are going to stay safe and hidden for too much longer. Ah well...it is fiction after all!

Okay, picture this: a bunch of sixties-age spunky women playing Mission Impossible. Fairly entertaining, light read but prepare to stretch your imagination to accomodate falling for a bunch of oldsters being able to pull off acting like a rock band--- and thousands do not even catch on! This is in the category of fun poolside reading, sort of like an oldster James Bond and his bevy of vigilante women, who used to be hotties but now are afflicted with hot flashes. Okay for a free read, but I can easily wait for library copies.

Wonderful Sisterhood book. I find myself enjoying each one, more than the last one. Live a little vicariously, and take a ride along with the Sisterhood for an afternoon. I doubt you will be disappointed.

Hokus Pokus which is a continuation of the Sisterhood was a good read.
The action itself was slow to start as there was too much in the pages about past books and characters (good for someone picking up this book without knowing the Sisterhood) but for readers who purchased to see what would happen next, it was wordy. The last 100 pages were the best with still questions for what is to happen next. I can't wait to read "Fast Track" which arrived yesterday.

I love the antics of the Sisterhood vigilantes. Although what they do to their victims is a bit unrealistic, it makes for a good read. I found myself laughing outloud at how they got back at their target in this book.
