Can’t help but love these characters, the Steel brothers that is. Lots of twists to keep you guessing what’ll happen next. The sex was realistic and hot! Just finished the series and happy with the ending

This book like the other six was great from being to end. I read this book in less than 12hrs. I agree with the other reviews. I'm just mad I have to wait until December 26, 2017 and February 18, 2018 to finally get to the end of the story.

I love the steel brothers saga. It has a storyline like no other. Every chapter makes you want to continue reading because you can't wait to find out what happens next. The passion and sex is hot and the story makes it all that much better. Its a must read for those who liked 50 shades.

If you have not read the Steel brothers story -omg you need to. One of the best series out there. Awesome romance and every time I think I have the rest of the story figured out-here comes another twist. I am patiently waiting for Book 8 which comes out right after Xmas. Enjoy!

Ryan and Ruby Lee lead you down a bumpy but yet lively road in their path together, they have one problem A lot of secrets are going to make being together a huge challenge. Helen Hardt is the queen of cliff hangers this one also leaves you hanging.

Wow!!! So many questions answered but so many new ones!!! Ryan and Ruby's story is just as good as Talon and Jade's and Jonah and Melanie's. Ruby constantly deals with her what turmoil her father as caused to not only the Steel family but to other lives he has harmed. YOU MUST READ THE PREVIOUS 6 BOOKS! The whole series is worth reading!! Helen Harris an amazing author!!!

Ugh!!! This is addicting. It's crazy, sensual, and damn right frustrating. Oh, and excellently written. I actually think I have a love hate relationship with this author!!

But the next book will be a great Christmas present to myself!

It can also, and more poignantly evoke feelings of broken hearts, minds, bodies, or souls…but in this case, its all four. Helen Hardt continues to weave her tangled web in the seventh installment of the Steel Brothers series with Shattered, the first of the series focusing on the youngest Steel brother, Ryan. Long considered the “pretty boy” of the family, Ryan heads up the winery at the Steel family ranch. The most easy going, and jovial of the Steel boys, Ryan is ready to watch his brothers get married in paradise, and begin their happily ever afters. While in Jamaica for the weddings, Ryan meets Ruby Lee, local detective and friend of his soon-to-be sister-in-law Melanie. Ruby Lee keeps to herself, stays out of the spotlight, and fights for those that can’t fight for themselves. Holy hell, Ms. Hardt….what are you doing to me?!?! As with the last six installments, Shattered took me on another adventure that left me gasping and breathless. The devastating and horrific secrets that haunt the Steel brothers continue to wreak their havoc, revealing ever more destructive mysteries in their twisted past. Shattered brings even more challenges and heart wrenching situations to the forefront for the Steel boys, this time with possibly the most devastating coming for not just Ryan, but them all. I honestly wasn't sure how Ms. Hardt could possibly bring MORE to this already full table, but on all that is holy, she has! The story continues to weave a tangled and twisted tale of horror, deceit, and betrayal…and doesn’t show any signs of slowing down anytime soon. The characters continue to grow, change, and evolve, becoming even more amazing and easy to love than before. Ryan is a dream, with a heart of gold and the soul of a fighter. Ruby is a fallen angel, just waiting for the right reason to spread her wings again and fly. The plot and storyline are even more amazing and well executed than in the beginning, and continue to evolve and completely blow my mind! As with the previous installments, Ms. Hardt has left us on a devastating cliff-hanger, but this one comes with a new and refreshing twist from the previous stories. I am counting down the days until Twisted graces my kindle, Ms. Hardt…

Wow, Helen caught me off guard with this one. While I anticipated the Ryan/Ruby love story, it was the rest of the story that sucked me in at the end. Helen definitely left me hanging on the last sentence. I've read this series from the beginning and it still keeps me hooked. Helen does a great job of keeping all of the characters in the forefront and updated even if the book isn't necessarily their story. Never disappointed.

After reading Shattered by Helen Hardt I really need to consider a few things. Will this cliff hanger leave me on the precipice of a sneeze just waiting to fly? Will I be able to handle the wait to find out the truth about the youngest Steel brother, Ryan and his new love interest, Ruby? Can I make it until December to close my awe struck mouth as wait for Twisted #8 of the Steel Brothers Saga?

Shattered was crisp, sexy as hell, and full of surprising connections between the characters. Ruby and Ryan test each other’s strength both in and out of the bedroom. They have shared secrets and ones that are still kept at bay. Shattered will draw you in and keep you locked in the saga until I hope we are Twisted in the truth of what really happened all those years ago in the Steel family.
