Laurie is a pleasure to read time and time again. In her latest, she does once again had me laughin out loud. Her humourous recording of real life, and the fact that she talks about what no one else does, makes her a favorite! Can't wait for the next book~

Laurie Notaro is honestly one of the funniest authors I've ever had the privledge of reading. She's so bluntly honest and so real that it makes the humor in her situations even better. This is her third book, and I hope there are many, many more.

This book is amazing!!! My friend recommended it to me and I got it. Well...I loved it. It is easy to read, well written, and the most important...it is hysterical!! Every page has something unique, spicy, and sparkling to laugh about. Once, I laughed so hard on a train on my way from work that people looked at me very puzzled and asked me to read it... So, I had to read some parts out loud. It was fun! I highly recommend this book.

I always enjoy a Laurie Notaro book. I never find them Laugh-out -loud funny like David Sedaris, and they certainly aren't charming, but they're fun. This book is the best of what I've read. I never keep Notaro's books to reread; I always give them to the library when I'm done, which says something about how I feel about them

This book is terrible. I couldn't finish it because I was wasting my time with her jokes that were not funny. She just seems to hate herself and is a cynic about everything and there is nothing timely or clever about her humor. Skip it

Laurie's most recent collection of funny stories is not only hysterical, but very relatable. We all have those QVC obsessed realtives, the not so there grandparents, and a group of friends we need to keep forever because they know far too much. I highly recommend this book, it'll have you laughing out loud!

Hilarious stories. Loved this book & Notaro's "Idiot Girls Action-Adventure Club" so much that I've ordered all 5 of her other books. Notaro truely is an amazing writer with the ability to share laugh-out-loud stories no one else would ever admit to experiencing.

I purchased this book on a whim and was thoroughly disappointed (there goes my future spontaneous purchases!). Couldn't even get through it because it's attempts at humor were so flat, they were almost insulting. Thank God for target's return policy; I exchanged the book for Susan Gilman's 'Hypocrite...', which I thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

loved this book. Check out her other books. You'll find yourself laughing out loud in the most interesting places (waiting in a restaurant for a friend to join you for dinner, waiting for the doctor) Be prepared for strange looks from the people around you.

Wow, this is what passes as humour? I love Arrested Development, David Sedaris, Augusten Burroughs so I thought I would find this book funny. The author is annoying and tries to make everything funny when it is not. I feel bad for the people that have to deal with her. Her idea of a punchline/resolution is pathetic. I can't believe she is as popular as she is. Waste of money.

She is very funny writer, sometimes it was like it was coming out of my own mouth. Her website even has more funny stories that didn't make it into her book. This is the first book I purchased from this author and I'll definately be buying more.

Laurie has such an amazing gift. Her ability to describe situations and make you feel like you were there, as well as literally make you laugh-out-loud reading is awesome. Thank you for brightening my day Laurie!

Her ability to exaggerate and twist mediocre events is hilarious. She's a smart-ass and she knows it. But, "I Love Everybody" loses steam midway and the last half is forced and tries too hard to entertain. Of the most unappealing aspects to Notaro's unenlightened writing is her thinly-veiled contempt for Arizona's Hispanic community.

I cannot get enough of Laurie Notaro, and this is my second book this month by her. I totally get her self-deprecating humor and outlook on life. She makes me laugh out loud, hard. She makes me smile, and I am completely entertained by her writing. I could not ask for more than that from an author or a book. The brown pant story had to the point of tears. I look forward to my next book by Mrs. Notaro.
