The Executive's Decision (The Keller Family Series Book 1)

Zachary is a flawless character. Sure, he leaves his office a mess, but he knows and gives unconditional love. Regan gambled at love in the past and lost. She's wary of men, especially powerful ones. Bernadette Marie is a wonderful author and this is the beginning of a great series. I was drawn into the story, want to read about the family members and a certain foreman. Kudos.

Despite the story being the predicable read it was good. Because sometimes predictable is just what you want and need. It had all the emotions I was looking for lust, love, a little suspense and dash of angst. I regret the second book is focusing on Carlos the main characters brother as I wanted more of a story on Regan and Zach. This was overall a good in between book read though.

I couldn't finish this book. It wasn't absolutely terrible, it was just boring. There was a witty beginning, slightly predictable, but cute then it all slooooooowed down. I will try another book by this author, I'm not giving up, but I was disappointed with this story.

Really good and pretty lengthy!! Though it did frustrate at times when the female character didn't tell him the whole truth, but I understood where she was coming from. Also I felt it was drawn out at some parts but it built the character relationships and tension so it wasn't too bad. SURPRISINGLY Amazing book, since it was a free read I didn't expect much but it delivered! Had twists and turns and I RECOMMEND IT!

This is a wonderful series of books that you will want to start at the beginning and just keep reading. The family in this series is fun. loving and wonderful. You will just love them all and you wioll be rooting for all of them when they all finally find love.

I wasn't familiar with Bernadette Marie, but I was able to get this on a free download and what a good read this was, I have already purchased the other books in series. Can you imagine riding the crowded bus and falling into the lap of a handsome man, who ends up being her boss, friend, then lover. I love sweet romantic books with good endings.

Romance novels are usually built around the same old structure of boy meets girl there is some drama then they over come and live happily ever after. This book utilized the very real problem of domestic abuse and choices made in the aftermath. I was curious as to how the author would over come the issues involved. Though the story did dumb down the issue and over simplified the outcome I was impressed by the sustaining feeling expressed in the book. Well done!

Continually trying to forgive herself for giving away her baby following violent beating which left them for dead Regan accepts a position as an Executive Assistant, only to find herself falling for her new boss. Can she get beyond her history or does she have to go on the rub again?

I really like Bernadettes writing. She made you feel a connection with all the characters. There was so much love in the Keller family I was jealous! There was humor and romance. I'm looking forward to the 2nd book. This book is better than I would have thought. It was free and I am willing to pay for the others. And I don't buy books!

The young woman is recovering from an abusive relationship with her former boss and now her new boss immediately falls in love with her. She has vowed to keep her work and personal lives separate. He is determined to have her as his wife.

I read this book looking forward to another series, where I could get a good understanding of the characters. This story was good but I wasn't anxious for the next book. However, it is on my wish list, but it was one I could wait for. I enjoyed their journey finding each other, but I was wanting more trials and bumps along the way.

A beautiful story written by Bernadette Marie. As a first time reading from this author i think that she did a wonderful job and i am looking forward to reading more work done by her. The characters were great, she did a great job with character build up. I definitely will recommend this book to others.

I would read more of her books. It was interesting to see how it would turn out after such a rocky start and finding out all the little secrets everyone is hiding. A great book to read. Some sex not explicit cleanly written if you don't like a lot of detail in the sex scenes. Would read more from her.

This story was okay, but would have probably would have been 50 pages shorter without the repeats. When I read a book like this, it makes me think that the author questions my intelligence. You could choose to read it or not, and it won't impact your life either way.

If you want a "hearts and flowers" (with a little bit of heartbreak) kind of book... One click this one! This will have you laughing, crying, falling in love, experiencing heartbreak and feeling all mushy by the time you finish the book.

This is a great book. It covers everything from broken hearts to new romance to Domestic Violence. Trust was a big issue in this story and I think it's not just enjoyable to read but it gives hope to people who have dealth with any of the above issues I listed.

I loved this book. Both main characters were easy to like and relate to. I find that sometimes with romance novels you can't stand the female and how she reacts to situations, but Regan was not one of those characters. The ending has me guessing about what will happen next, so I can't wait to read the next.

This book was really good, would have called it great if not for the ending! Really, after an amazing build up... lots of banter back and forth between the characters.. will she, won't she; great times together, heart breaking times apart, witty dialoge, and then the ending? I don't get it, but ok. Hopefully the endings get better in the other books in the series.

This was a wonderful read. Good writing and a great love story. I did not like the fact that Reagan could not tell Zack the truth about her past. That was frustrating and it took the whole book for him to find out about her past. Other than that it was a good love story.

The story was nice. Had some twists but lacked something. The plot was good although a bit confusing. Some things jumped out of the black Lee leaving me a bit confused. There were too many oversights. Punctuation in the wrong places and misspelled words. Some words didn't even make sense in the sentence. I will not recommend this to another and I will read another book by Bernadette Marie.

I enjoyed this story which was truly romantic and had a good storyline to it as well. My first read from this author and I am looking forward to more. It was well written and refreshingly it was not full of typo's as books tend to be now a days, there was some but not too many. Worth the time to read it.

Again, nabbed this book as a freebie and was pleasantly surprised by the story line and strength of the characters. I am glad to see this is a family series and I look forward to discovering more about the Keller family and their antics and growth as people and as a family.

I finished reading The Executive Decision last night and must say that I loved it. A great beach-read book. Light-hearted with loads of romance. Parts of the story, however, did seem to take a version from 50 Shades, which I did not see the need. I enjoyed this book and would recommend it for someone who just wants to get lost in a sweet romance.

Great read from beginning to end! The mischievous hero and his humble love interest; loving families on both sides; the mysterious, sinister villain; and the fast-paced world of business. The bus ride that begun so horribly wrong ended in the beautiful Tennessee countryside, with laughter, love acceptance and vindication. I want to re-read right now. A book that inspires laughter and tears and shows just how good .'family' should be.

Exactly what a romance novel should be! I laughed a few times & I teared up a little even though it was pretty predictable- kinda like those romantic comedies. You know what's going to happen but enjoy it anyway!!!

Regan and Zachary started really flirty, then when you get further you realize that Regan has some demon that was holding her back. Love how the author bind together everything at the end, in all a great read.

This again is for people who like the romantic and really hard to believe but you hope it would happen to you.It really is not a true life type of thing but y ou can not read it for a few days and go back and have no trouble picking up where you left off.
