I was waiting on the characters to grow, but they never did and at one point I had to actually add up the yrs to make sure they were adults. There were some typos and I could live with those, sad to say.

SPOILER ALERT!
-Simon was incredibly simple-minded to be a doctor--never offered the mom any help or advice on her disease
-He left for seven yrs, no word/call/text/email and the first day back she drops to her knees to please him--both are proud of the experience they have had with others.
-she had a lot on her, but seem jealous that he had moved on and thought he was more than them--he didn't.
-small town vs big city=felt like country mouse goes to the city (they acted like he was in another country, when only a few hrs separated them)
-his first thought after she told him about the baby was 'what does this have to do with me?' enough said.
-how can you tell the color of a baby eyes within the first few minutes of birth?

At the end all I could think was that Simon loved her as a friend, and married her loving her as a friend doing the 'right' thing.

Another good read. I loved Jaime and Simon together. Simon needed someone like Jaime in his life to keep him on the right path. They were great together and the story was a really sweet one. The ending could have been a little better, it justed ended so abruptly. Otherwise it was good to see how their relationship improved as time went on.

Loved the story, the characters and love they were not perfect. Love hero wasn't billionaire and that had to deal with real life situation such as career choices, distance to figure out their relationship. Love the secondary characters too.

This was my first time reading this author. I must say I wasn't impressed. The book dragged to me. I was able to put it down numerous times and not really focus on it. I definitely will not be buying another book from this author. The book was extremely boring and didn't flow well.

This book seemed to drag. Jamie and Simon were playing at being adults when they graduated and continue playing at it when they were older. Instead of admitting their true feelings for one another, the just jumped in bed. They needed to stop hiding and actually see the other.

Simon and Jamie's story could have been great. There was something missing. It could be nothing missing and the leading male was a used roll of toliet tissue! The female was strong and a likeable character. Ok book when u need something to read.

I absolutely loved this book or was better than most the store books. Time was taking and it didn't really feel rushed. I hate the fact that it seemed like of not for the kid they wouldn't have been together. This should not encourage people to go and get pregnant. A few grammatical errors but other wise great read.

I really enjoyed this story and I would have given it five stars but I didn't like the abrupt ending. I liked Simon and Jamie and I wanted to know what happened with Jamie's mom, did her cancer go into remission, what happened with Sal and Kathryn and did Adam find love. What about Matthew Simon's dad? Did he find love again?

This book was a compelling story about childhood friends turned lovers. A great storyline. I admit at times I became frustrated with Simon but could easily fall in love with the spirit of the character. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for an entertaining read with a good storyline.

I love best friends romances and this was a great addition to what I've read in the past.

Jamie and Simon have been besties since elementary school and somewhere along the way, they fell in love. However since neither party wanted to admit their feelings, they drifted apart when Simon went to college. Simon was a bit annoying because he is freaking clueless but when you think about it, most men are. Jamie is a spitfire that Simon needed to spur him on.

The end was beautiful but I would like to know more about this couple.
