Defy Not the Heart

Reading books like these leave me in a good place. I find the writers have a great way of bringing you into the story where you can connect with the people and know their feelings of likes and dislikes. I gave this story 4 stars it was entertaining and interesting with humor and good description. I have read better but not too many.

I am slowly trying to convert my paperback collection into a Kindle library. This was one of the first Lindsay novels I read many many years ago now, and while my paperback is still in fine condition it is definitely starting to show it's age and use. It was a definite pleasure purchasing this old favorite in Kindle format so I can continue to revisit it for many years to come.

Joanna usually writes a wonderful book. I had to force myself to finish reading it and it got better half way through. Usually when one reads a romance book, you don't read about a perverse character unless you picked up an intentional gay or lesbian book. I also get that beauty is in the eye of the beholder but this book talks about a handsome man and an average woman. Every woman wants to feel beautiful to the person that loves them.
