I have always enjoyed books by Kathy Reichs. Having spent time in Montreal it is exciting to hear more about the city and inner workings. I don't know the Southern States well so that is very interesting. I am captivated by the crime scenes.
I will have to say that I prefer her books to the TV productions where I tend to get lost with all the personalities.

This was another winning entry in the Temperance Brennan series by Kathy Reichs. She does sometimes spend a little too much time on mundane descriptions of things that do not affect the story; such as the history of Charlotte and surrounding areas. Regardless of the unnecessary info, this book is another thrilling mystery. I anxiously await the next Tempe adventure.

I have read most of the Temperance Brennan novels. I did not find that this one lived up to the other novels. It was just ok for me. I found it a bit long and then the story unravelled in the last few pages. I missed the Detective Ryan character in the book. I find that he gives Temperance spunk and more character.
A Novel (Temperance Brennan Book 9) - Break No Bones :: Bones in Her Pocket :: Two Nights: A Novel :: Fatal Voyage: A Novel (Temperance Brennan Book 4) :: Grave Secrets: A Novel (Temperance Brennan Book 5)

All of Reichs' books are good. This one introduces a "different" theme and does not disappoint by preaching or trashing it. An intelligent exploration of the Wiccan theme. The murder seems almost incidental.
