second book is as great as the first!!
story continues setting things up and building world and characters.
Writing and spelling is good and great to see such a good translation to english. ( please hurry rest of series :) lol translate faster !!!!! lol. )
The writing style is very good and flows well and with the second book we have started to see some new characters being introduced and things look very interesting.
Beware there is a cliffhanger ending ...but this is book 2 of currently 5 book series and i believe author has said he is working on book 6. 3-5 are yet to be translated to english.
For those looking for a good fantasy series set in new litRPG genre that is good size and well written with good character and world building that is part of a good sized series... GRAB IT NOW!

Well. VERY well done Mr. Rus. Another Five stars. Well, if I were to be completely honest, this I would probably rank at 4.6 or 4.7. But totally worth the read anyway. You are still lacking a strong, independent, non-clingy female character. Lena and Tanya are basically all we have, and all they do is cry, waste resources, hide behind the MC and... honestly... sell themselves a little. But anyway, other than that one major quibble I have with your character choice.

I still love the book. I still want other people to read it. I still want you to translate as fast as possible.

Thanks for a great read!

"my inner greedy pig" seems to be referenced every page to the point it seems like a split personality. it's annoying and repetitive and yanks me out of the story every time. It leads to the book reading like an anime with scenes inside the main character's head. luckily it trails off half way through. Story is starting to read like a harem with everything the character needs falling into his lap at just the right time. (at least there's some logical explanation this time & interference from Macaria and clan) Much more equal gain for sacrifice towards the end. some interesting fights this book and overarching quests starting to make progress with more added. this is one of the few litrpg series with a good overall plot that takes it's time and has plenty of original and fun stuff along the way. honestly maybe the best for plot. Although the world sounds huge, author does a poor job of explaining anything. Are we still in the city of light? what are drows? if it's so easy to portal far away, why bother with only the light auction? literally no negatives from being a dark in the light city??!?? can buy skills and use auction no problem? nothing is given a clear description assuming the reader automatically knows what the author is talking about (russian culture & gaming terms and races) which makes less fluff but more confusing

Very well written and translated. The author found a gem with his translator as - with the exception of a few turns of phrases which reveal the authors background - it is nearly impossible to tell that the book was not originally written in English. As for the story, telling the tale of a real world MMORPG power gamer is rife with potential literary pitfalls and possibilities for triteness... all of which the author avoids with epic skill. The protagonists are believable, likable, and show great character growth throughout the story. The story line walks the fine line of providing regular doses of the epic feeling of a great loot haul while not allowing the story to become boring from unbalanced character growth. Even when the gods of the story literally come down and solve a problem for the main character the author avoids the grown worthy Deus Ex Machina that are so common in recent fantasy series. Worth a read by anyone who likes fantasy, sci-fi, or has ever played an RPG.

I listened to Alterworld, and got most of the way through The Clan before I returned them both. It baffles me to no end that most of the reviewers either didn't pick up on the subtle racial bigotry, and the outright in-your-face misogyny, or they just didn't care. I wanted to like this series, I really did! I'm a gamer myself, and I LOVED Sword Art Online, so I had high hopes for this series, but I got about an hour from the end of The Clan and couldn't stand to hear the words "stupid woman" spoken one more time. Not to mention the fact that the main character beat a 13-year-old girl trapped in a sex-puppet body with an iron rod, and everyone was just like "eh *shrug". Shameful.

Thanks Dmitrii!

I red all the books in russian from litres and loved them all.
My son is a typical teenager gamer - very hard to get him read anything.
Books and him, just cannot exist in the same place and time.

He doesn't know russian, so english is the only option for him to read your books.
He swallowed the first two in a single weekend and impatiently waiting for more!

Thanks a lot again!

I am tempted to remove a star for the cliffhanger as it left a bitter taste in my mouth, and it's my belief they are never necessary in a full sized novel. However this was a full five, as I was again fully engrossed in the story.

Very good book. I've read several novels that has similar concept to this, through online translation, or just pure GT. You name it and I will know it.

And this book is rated as one of the best in my list. The pace of the story development is nice, the char is not OP, the universe is interesting. But the end of story was,, the author was cruel, he just gave me cliffhanger. I had to wait for 2 months for that :)

Thanks for this !!

I really liked the first book and about the first quarter of this one, however 1/4 of the way through the author drastically threw off the course of the book. The author made Lena a huge story point which was okay at first but then he started making her a hindrance, along with her the chosen goddess also becomes a interference decimating the main characters plans. Then there is the problem of when Lena's dad joins he brings a bunch of little kids to the world which seems nice because they are in hospice care, however he brought them to a place that was a hot spot of a brewing war.
