I think this book is definitely worth reading. It's interesting for me, because I started out relating to the character, yet not quite liking her or being quite sure if I liked the book. However, Emily Giffin has an interesting way of being able to pull you into the book when you least expect it and I ended up finding the ending of the book to be the best part. So, definitely read it through to the end and you won't be sorry.

I've read Emily Griffin's something borrowed and something blue series and liked both. I have to say though, this one is my favorite of hers. I enjoyed all of the characters in this book and was able to easily tap into their emotions. Maybe it is because the characters, especially the sisters, were women around my age and I can totally relate to what they go through. It was a heartwarming story about family, friends and the realization that being with the one you love is more important than any self-righteous ideas or principles. I find that so very true. This is a chick-lit for women in their 30's and 40's, whereas something borrowed and something blue were more for the 20-somethings.

I actually really liked this book. I bought it expecting fluffy chick lit that I could read on the beach and not think twice about. Meaning, I didn't have high expectations. The book pleasantly surprised me. It's an easy read, but it's very thought-provoking and has a lot of insight for a chick-lit type of fiction book. As a woman who is almost 30 and on the cusp of considering children, the issues in the book were very relevant to me. I loved the way the author used different characters to represent different perspectives women have about marriage and children.
Overall, this book was an enjoyable read. There is a lot of talk about babies and pregnancy in the book, so if you're not into that, you probably won't like it very much. I found it to be a very engaging and honest take on how modern women deal with the choices involved when it comes to motherhood and marriage.

The first time I read "Something Borrowed, Something Blue" by Emily Giffin I was HOOKED! After that I did all that I could to read ALL of her subsequent books. I am not disappointed. I love how the author integrates characters from her previous books into her subsequent stories. Thoroughly enjoyable read!

I really enjoyed Baby Proof! It had many stories in it & though one predominated about a couple with issues about whether or not to have a baby,
other relationships were explored concerning infidelity, infertility etc. Well-written & very absorbing. Now I'll look for other books by Emily Giffin!!!!!!!!!!

This was a cute, light read. I enjoyed reading this book, although Ben, the main character's husband, irritated me. When you make commitment, you can just change your mind & expect the other person to join you. Claudia was firm on her decision to not have children, which is also one of the biggest commitments of your life. To change your mind & get upset with the other person for not following you is rude. However, through my irritation, I did enjoy the book.

I literally could not put this book down! The characters were so real that I laughed and cried along with all of the phases of their life. I wish I could have read more. I want to be there for Ben and Claudia in the next phase of their life. All of the emotions were so raw and real. I will definitely seek out more books by this author!!

Another amazing book by this author. This was the first one I read by her-so I did not know what to expect. The author has a way of making you see both sides, so seamlessly that it is hard to figure out where you stand. She has a gift and her writing is magical.

I loved this book, honest questions came up that you ask yourself as a woman the older you get. I really enjoy her style of writing. Although I wish there was a final chapter that shows what happened years down the road like in "Something Blue".

I just finished reading "Baby Proof" and once again, Emily Giffin did not disappoint. I read the book in record time, because every time I put it down, I could not stop thinking about the characters, and wondering what happened next. I found myself hoping that the main characters would eventually reunite. Whatever one's views on having a baby is (and this is coming from someone who is currently pregnant!), this book is an absolute great read. If you have not read her other two books yet, I highly recommend them also.

The ending is NOT what I was expecting; TERRIBLE! I felt like the character just gave up and gave in. The main character, Claudia, went through a life changing experience, only to end the book feeling the same way she did at the beginning of the book. ....Wasn't impressed.....

I just can't wait for Emily Giffin to write some more. I'll be the first one in line to buy.
