I’m more of a zombie fan when it comes to post-apocalyptic fiction but these books pulled me in and didn’t let go. I thoroughly enjoyed the story, masterfully written, and I fell in love with the characters and rooted for them the entire book. I’m not ashamed to say I cried at the end because I did. It’s a testament to how wonderfully written this story is. Truly an amazing read! Mike Kraus is now one of my favorite authors.

I read the Final Dawn series this weekend, and it was a really exciting and action packed read. Lets just say I chose reading at the cost of sleep a few times over the past week, because it was that good. I also really enjoyed the creativity that he brings to this genre. I'm new to this author so I will be checking out his other books, and he will definitely join my list of authors to follow. Happy reading.

I have just finished the last of the Final Dawn series with some sadness. I love to read series and this series was interesting, well written and kept me reading through all of the volumes. I also love books with good, simple endings. I don't want to have to figure out what happened.

Mike Kraus is always so appreciative and adds helpful information at the end of his books, I really enjoy reading his books.

Put off. Should I go on? The structure of the story was a distracting, annoying even. Jumping from character to character, I kept looking back to see what the timeline was, who was this again? And I found myself being drawn in, anxious for the next bit of information. Almost wanting to jump ahead but realizing gradually that this was not disjointed, I became hooked. The first I have read by this author, I believe it will not be the last. Having read science fiction for over 60 years, hiding under covers with a flashlight so I could finish a story, I am constantly on the search for more. Mr. Kraus may just be another source to indulge. Thank you?

I borrowed this book through the Prime Reading Library. It was so good I couldn't put it down. It hit on topics that are all over the news thanks to AI research and the risk of North Korea. The characters were fully developed and were relatable. I plan to purchase the paper copy for my kids to read. I can see this one being passed around throughout the family.

I enjoyed this series very much. When I first started I was a little leery of the blue swarms but the explanation made sense so I went along with it. It was a little over-the-top but the action was great. I think AI was getting a little more credit especially for speed then I hope is possible in the future.

I admit I don't normally write reviews on many of the Kindle Unlimited books that I read, but felt this one deserved it. The premise of this story is very different from most of the "post apocalyptic" books out there. As technology advances this idea doesn't seem too far out of the realm of possibility. I found the characters and the story engaging. All in all, I enjoyed this very much and look forward to reading more from Mike Kraus.

Started with the usual oh !!!! Oh dear. Beginning was good enough that I kept on and on, I almost gave up at 80% but decided so much time had already been invested, I had to finish. Good premise, but it was like buying a jelly doughnut with no filling. Had this not been an omnibus I would have stopped after the first two episode's.

This series is one of the best I've read over the years spent absorbing every book possible in the dystopian/apocalyptic genre. I enjoy long reads. Plenty of time for character development, plot twists and turns, and other surprises!
Mike, truly knows how to get you hooked and maintain your interest...

I really enjoyed this box set by Mike Kraus. The storyline is awesome! Unique,, at least to me, storyline and strong characters. I did mist up a bit at the end but it's a good tear. Twisted but great ending. Can't wait to read the next ones!

I did like your books but some of your descriptions on what people are doing are to long and become tedious. I liked that you approached the story unlike anyone else with the nanobots. The one thing I could never figure out was why they would attack the horse and kill it. Nowhere else does it say it has programmed itself to kill animals. If that was the case they would have killed any animals they could find and it should have been included in the story line.

The author's notes at the end of the book ask, did you like FINAL DAWN, my answer is Yes...By far, hands down the best Apocalyptic Series I have read. Next question was Do you want to read more books that I write, again the answer is Yes, and am looking forward to reading THE ARKANGELSK TRILOGY.

I checked this out through the Prime reading library. It was a long read and I thought it would take me awhile. But I could not put it down. The story is told from the point of view of 4 main survivors, all from different backgrounds. And this works really well wth the story. The technology story is very believable. And it is written in a way you can follow what’s going on, even if you don’t have much knowledge of the technical aspect. You get caught up in the story and the characters. Highly recommend. I will read more from this author.

I actually really liked the concept, much different than many others. Characters were well developed and stayed true. Which can be difficult. My problem was by 66% I was bored. Scenario after scenario of chase, excape. I started skimming at about 40%. I guess what I'm saying is that it becomes filler at best.

WOW! What a powerful story this turned out to be. I kept reading and could not stop. This series was unlike any I have ever read. I loved it. The storyline and writing was brilliant. I cannot believe with 250,000 books sold that this only has 100 reviews on the store. This is definitely worth buying.

I love long books! If it's good, I hope it never ends. But, if it must end, I hope it's satisfying.
Mike knocked it out of the park! Great series, good characters, fascinating plot and very well written.
You have a new fan.

Mike Kras you are carving a world where the smallest particles of life are the most dangerous . I feel like the genetic sciences are wrong and the shear forces they are trying to create will do what this great book showed. Can't wait to see the new books....deeman.

A unique apocalyptic series. Lots of action and suspense caused me to not want to put it down. Alas I have to sleep occasionally, LOL. Great proofreading with no errors noticed which is rare for me. I can't wait to start the next trilogy which is a continuation of this story. Great read.

I really enjoyed this series. I read the series as single purchases a few years ago. Mike Kraus is one of the best apocalyptic writers out there. I understand that he plans to finally add to this series and I'm excited about it.

This writer is an author on fire. He knows his stuff. What if this happened? In the world of technology we have, all of this is possible! He has done his homework, every book is a wild ride. I am on my like 8th book can't wait to read the next. Well developed characters, fantastic!!!

Too many loop holes about avaliable tecnology. Why no night vision goggles? Carring water bottles back and forth
to fill the fuel tank. Two trips, start the truck and move to the source. Use a wheelbarrow with one arm. Get real!
Many other small glitches.

What a great story. Follows the fears of most preppers. Terrifying concept but I recognize some of the characters from those I have met, served with and worked with and For! I anticipate the follow on books. I Just ordered the next volume.

This is a terrific series. I am in awe at how an author makes almost unbelievable events so real that you become invested in the story. This is a fast-paced trilogy with great character development. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it anyone interested in post apocalyptic themes. Great series!

I tried to like this book but just couldn't get into it. The characters had no depth, plot was thin and it didn't keep my interest. There are so many books in this genre that you can't put down. This isn't one of them. One plus was there were few if any editing errors.

Well done sci-fi consistent with today's fear of AI and robotics. Interesting solution to societal problems in today's world. Not necessarily recommended, but nonetheless entertaining thought after watching the news.

I wasn't sure I would like the premise (nanobots and AI?) but the four strong main characters got me hooked! And I loved that this was the omnibus version so I was able to read the entire story straight through! Excellent read in this genre. I strongly recommend it!

I really enjoyed reading this series. The plot and character development was very good, with many twists and turns along the way. I'm delighted to see that there is a follow-up series, which I'm off to get now.

I am not a regular fan foe science fiction but Final Dawn took me by surprise. The people were real. The language was understandable. I like the plot. However the end of book three left a lot of question about the future. I was disappointed that there was not another book. Now I am looking forward to reading the continuing story.

I only give it 4 stars because I haven't quite finished it. The story kept me going, wondering what was next and what was going on. I felt like I became invested in the characters and wanted to know their fate. Good story line and good pace. Can't wait to finish.

All I can say is....WOW! I read alot and this series caught and held my attention through every book. Filled with lots of action and information. The author makes you feel you are standing beside each of the characters as the story unfolds.

I liked this book even though I am not usually into dystopian themes. At one point I thought this was a novelization of a TV script or a novel trying to sell itself as a possible TV script. Either way I enjoyed it enough to finish it.

TERRIBLE! In addition to poor writing and storytelling, too many errors to finish. For example, there is no steel in the Washington Monument and if a vintage Jeep has no roof then you can't open a hatch at the back to load your gear. I was curious to learn about the shiny boogie men but now I'm past caring.

Very interesting post-apocalyptic theme. The first few chapters were a little confusing but certainly helped define the characters in this story. Mike's writing gets you connected to the story and the characters and made it hard to put the book down.

When David lifts the hatch on Berth boxcar, it blows away and bangs the cars behind it. However, there are no cars behind it, they left them at the blown up track. Few other grammar errors also throughout book. Do you have proof readers or beta group?

If you like post apocalyptic series, this one will keep you on the edge of your seat!! Excellent detail and plot grabs you quickly. Just enough mystery and suspense to keep you reading just one more chapter! Excellent job!

I disliked the jumping from story to story as the author tried to describe the actions of the individual groups. It took almost a year to finish the book because I would walk away from the story when I became annoyed.

I have to admit at the start of the book I thought it was going in a different direction I’m glad it turned out the way it did. I really enjoyed this book, it kept you just want to read more and not put the book down.

Interesting premise
Unfortunately the author devoted 90 percent of the book to unbelievable chase scenes that all turned out in favor of the main characters
A submarine that could launch from anywhere on the planet somehow allowed the infected to jump into the boat while sailing from Alaska via the Panama Canal to get near the east coast of the USA. One of 50 things that made no sense

Obviously self published. The dialogue was cheesy and unnatural, the rest of the series was just unpolished. The concept was interesting, which is why I finished the books, but I was ultimately disappointed in the writers formulaic characters and lack of scientific research. Mediocre at best.

This could have been a good read, yes, could have been. The one thing I don't put up with is cursing my God, my wife or my family, and this book failed shortly into it with the cursing of God. It's too bad authors can't realize that alienating part of their readership by the use of foul, obscene language, and unnecessary cussing, and profanity is bad business. The story line wouldn't change without it, readers wouldn't quit the read if absent and it would actually keep those reading who are offended by it. But, nevertheless, another set of books left unread and others by this author will not be considered...and it wasn't a nuclear attack or EMP that stopped it.

I always learn a lot from Mike Kraus's books. He appears to be quite knowledgeable about the background of his stories.
I like the way he brings his characters back in from book to book. More, more from Mike!

Struggled to finish it because of the length. Liked the character development and growth. Ordinary people accomplishing the extra ordinary. Would make an awesome 16-18 episode sci-fi series if kept to the original storyline.
