Iles is one of the few writers that never disappoints me. As with all his novels, Jordan Glass's saga moves at a rapid paace pulling the reader along. A clear change of pace from the "Quiet Game", Iles stays on his game with "Deep Sleep"

I found some things predictable and others not. It was the same thriller that I have come to expect from Mr. Iles' books and thorough enjoy. I also liked the aspect of written totally from the women's point of view, and think he did very well. All in all, will continue to read his books and look forward to more from him.

I was initially disappointed by the explanation of the painter but on further reading into what created his personalities, and how the web connected each character in both their social lives but more so their emotional journeys , I changed my mind. It was a journey reading this novel. Each character had their own story, not all deeply scarred nor were they overly mysterious or shallow. I truly enjoyed this novel

Dead Sleep was addictive from the start. I enjoyed the pace of the novel and was able to suspend by disbelief when necessary. While I admire the author's writing of a strong yet believable female narrator, I yearned for a more thorough development of crucial characters like John Kaiser and Roger Wheaton.
