I started reading the books my daughter is reading for school because I was afraid they were too intense for a 4th grader. I am so glad I did! This book has helped me through my own struggles in my life and given me the "shot in the arm" I needed to pick myself up and carry on!

The Running Dream is a book that I would recommend to any age. It is a great and moderately easy read that will pull you in and not let you out until you are done. It is a great story of perseverance and friendship. This book has been an all-time favorite of mine for many years and to anyone who may be interested in reading it I would highly recommend for you to do so.

This book sucked me in right from the beginning. I couldn't put it down! The author did an amazing job making the characters feel real and making them relatable. A must read for anyone with a passion, who ever wanted people to see the real them or just anyone in general.

This book is so meaningful and heartwarming. You feel Jessica's pain when she describes her leg, understand her anger at Lucy, and smile when she receives her new leg, because she is a relatable character, even though I, fortunately, I have not lost a leg. I found this book eye-opening and sweet. Couldn't put it down!

While this is billed as a "Young Adult" novel, it is a book that should be read by adults, as well. It is a not just s story of triumph over adversity. The author paints a very vivid picture of friendship, loyalty and the benefits of hard work.

Thanks the store. This is a classbook that only gets used in class. Hard to keep up with the assignments if the book can not be removed from the class. Available in the libraries, but you have to return the book. So, not finding this in a local bookstore, I found you had it at a good price. Got it. Son is able to keep up with class assignments....even through the Christmas school break !

What a wonderful and heartwarming tale of a teen girl's struggle getting back to the track. The Running Dream's characters are true to life people. Not wanting to put the book down, I found myself rooting for Jessica the entire book.
