Good read, interesting plot, great characters. My only problem is with the detailed sex scenes, implied/hinted is great, graphic, blow by blow details are unappreciated by this reader. I'm regretfully done.

What can I say ------- Book 2 was just as enthralling as Book 1. All of Ms. Force's characters grab you and you care about them.
I have never read a series back to back, but I have read this one that way because I have to find out what happens to the people and what the next story line will be.

I have become addicted to Marie Force and her Fatal Series. Bought the first one to see what it would be like and I can't put them down. Book Two is better than Book One if that is possible. Buy it. You will not be disappointed!
Fatal Jeopardy (The Fatal Series) :: Kevin & Chelsea (Gansett Island Series Book 18) - Gansett Island Episode 2 :: Growing Up in the Nuclear Shadow of Rocky Flats - Full Body Burden :: Day by Day Armageddon: Grey Fox :: Marie Force The Fatal Series Volume 1 - An Anthology

I have almost finished the second book in the Fatal series and I like the story line, but I have a lot of difficulty liking Samantha Holland. She is more than a strong character, she is often rude, obstinate and so bent on doing what she wants that she is often not smart how she handles the situations that confront her. I feel the author is trying to portray her as a smart, independent, strong woman but I am not finding anything likable how she deals with people.

Just finished all six in the series and the wedding novella (don't miss it). A captivating web of intrigue with well defined characters. The books continue to have threads throughout but with new avenues of interest. Rich relationships and very sexy, steamy love scenes. Don't miss these.

Another great book in the series by Marie Force. I love that each book delves deeper into Nick and Sam's relationship. It's like catching up with old friends. I look forward to the next book in the series.

As with the other books in this series, I thought the bedroom scenes were a little long and became almost as a formula.

As with the other books in this series, I found the love scenes too lengthly and almost predictable, Although not enough so to keep me from ordering the next book in the series. Very compelling reading.

I found this book an entertaining read. I will not re-write the story line because it has been done in other reviews. I did find the ending a bit rushed and did figure out the who done it before it happened but the story between Nick and Sam kept it interesting. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Good book, lots of intrigue with politics, power and the enticement of money and power, not unlike today's world very relevant to what is happening now. Follows well after book one, need to read all of her fatal books in order.

Like the first in this series this book was awesome. I absolutely love Marie Force`s writing style. The characters are charming, witty and so much fun. The story itself is well written and engrossing. An absolutely fabulous read :)

Excellent addition to the series! I do love romantic suspense books and this series has so far not disappointed! In Fatal Justice, Nick and Sam's romance heats up...as they are caught in the middle of another investigation. Yikes!

Once again, I had no idea who-dun-it! And when we find out, the story fits! To me it is hard to pull off a good suspense book without giving away the killer...or by coming from out of the blue with some crazy random person that was never in the book. In this book, you know the person is out there, you are suspicious of all the secondary characters...and the BOOM. You find out who did it and why and you are like... I get it!

So suspense is awesome...Let's talk about Nick and Sam. Nick, can he be any better? Nope! Sam is still working on her issues, but Nick is slowly wearing her down. And man on man, there are some spoilers that I will just leave out but they were great! The romance was awesome too!

All in all, I am on a reading winning streak and am moving on to book 3 now! Highly recommend this series!

After reading the first of the series (Fatal Affair), I had to have the second book. I have already recommended this author to a friend and will definitely have to read the third book of the series. Its one of those books that hooks you from the start and you don't really want it to end......you might not find another one as good!

Sometimes sequels aren't as good as the first book, but in this case I liked them equally. I like the setting being the Washington DC area and that the characters involve politicians. It's good to read something different.

Marie Force' 2nd book is just as riveting as Book 1 of the series. I will definitely purchase the 3rd book to read. Love her style and coming from Washington DC, the details are right on. You won't be disappointed.

Quick read, enjoyable. I just finished all 6 books and will buy the 7th when it comes out. My only complaint is I fell the author copied to a degree the JD Robb In Death series which is a better written series.

This book picks up where the first one left off...the suspense and the drama was kept me interested...I love the banter and how the characters interact with each other. I also like the fact that the heroine doesn't hold back when she speaks and is not intimidated by people who are in a position of power. Another plus of this book is the interaction between the heroine and her love interest. I think they are well mactched...I would recommend that you read the first book in the series before you read this one.
