Kerra comes alive on the pages and you are thrilled to go on the ride with her to learn about her past. Trapper appears to be the typical bad boy but with a sharp intellect and a keen eye for patterns of behaviour that further the plot!

Sandra tells a tale with more twists than a country road. Such depth of character exploration and drama at every turn in the road. Was the best of the many books I have enjoyed by her. Will make a Great Movie.

Gave this rating because it was very slow in beginning.
Very good after it got moving especially liked Trapper could close my eyes and see Josh Brolin playing this part in a movie.
Would recommend to my neighbor and all fans of Sandra Brown

Sandra Brown 's new book was another intricately woven tale of evil. It quickly pulls the reader in and keeps the reader wanting to continue the story...so much so that going to sleep was not an option..the character development is excellent and by the book' s end you feel the emotion as keenly as the characters do. Another hit!

Didn't grip me. It was predictable. Kinda disappointed and is logged through it. Not as good as previous. Trapper was predictable. Bad boy who knew everything. Shallow character. Hope next work is better.

Another good read by Sandra Brown. Contains several twist and misdirections. Somewhat heavy on irrelevant romantically adventures (although possibly entertaining -- irrelevant).
But, as I have already said, "another good read."

The plot (story) was thin; unrealistic. However there was enough events going on that the story did move and retained your interest (curiosity?). The main character Traper was over the top in his stereo type of a man's man that is irresistible to women! I am a Sandra Brown fan, but this was a poor effort.

Once again Sandra Brown did not disappoint.
Her characters are strong, recognisable and easily loved.
This book had me gripped from the beginning. I thought I had it all worked out, I was wrong.
Great read, look forward as always for the next Sandra Brown!
