A unique plot twist at the beginning of this story keeps things moving. I enjoy the Rebekka Franck series and find them an easy but enjoyable read. They are dark and twisted at times and this one was no exception.

Eleven, Twelve... Dig and Delve: A heart-stopping thriller (Rebekka Franck Book 6) by Willow Rose is a five star book from start to finish.

I have not read these books in order & except for a few minor references it is a stand alone book.

This is a creepy book. It delineates the thin veneer of society's so-called civilization & how under extreme circumstance it can be peeled away very quickly.

I received a complimentary kindle copy in an the store promotion. That did not change my opinion for this review.

The Queen of Scream has another harrowing novel to shiver your bones! There are always a few typos but they don't slow your enjoyment down. Mondays are not the best day of the week, especially for the small town of Blegevej in Northern Denmark. Early on a Monday morning a giant sinkhole opens beneath the town. Poor Rebekka is sucked into the hole and is trapped in a limestone mine. Others are trapped with her ... including a killer. Well, I'm a big fan of this author. It's Monday, and I'm home. Trapped in entertainment! Enjoy this novel!

This book is the first Rose Willow I have read. A blurb called her the queen of scream. There were some horror aspects to the book, but what I found compelling was the setting. A huge sinkhole forms and a whole neighborhood disappears into the ground. The lucky ones fall into the limestone cave system below the neighborhood. I found the story of a small group trapped in the caverns for an extended period of extremely interesting. Yes, there are psychopathic killers in the tunnels. What drew me were how the "ordinary" characters coped or didn't. The mechanics of their struggle gave the novel the feeling of an account of a real disaster.

There is one one particular murderer Rebekka and Sune are looking for. The main event is more natural. I am from Florida (where Ms. Rose now lives) and am absolutely terrified of the event which occurs in this book. This one hits in a visceral way that a murder mystery, no matter ow horrific, simply cannot. I love scary. This one made me hide under the covers and shake for hours when I finished it. Literally.

What audience is this written for? The writing, character development, realism, plot, are all at about the 9-10 year old level. Reminds me of the Hardy Boys books. I read one of the author's short stories, and was curious if the full length would be any different. Unfortunately, it was not.
