This was a nice love story between two likable characters that are really good together and complement each other. They had their struggles as most couples do. Megan had some insecurities to work through and Alex was a very pulled together man that everybody loved but deep down he had some thing troubling him that he had never shared with anyone. I liked that they communicated, although Alex to give Megan a nudge a few times. Alex was generous and incredibly thoughtful and they just really clicked. The book did seem long because of some slow sections that were filled with some minutiae I didn’t need to know, but I’m glad I read it and would definitely recommend it. There were some love scenes all very well written and not overly detailed, if that’s a consideration for any reader. I didn’t realize initially that this was part of a series on the Montgomery family and now I’m anxious to read the books I missed and hopefully Christian (Megan's brother) gets a book.
I received an ARC for my honest review.

Did I enjoy ? this book? Heck yes. There isn’t a Samantha Chase book I haven’t loved.

This book is the 7th book in the Montgomery family saga and brings to you what you would expect from a Samantha. Chase book, second chance romance, a close family and love. Always love.

The road to love for Megan and Chase has sometimes been bumpy, but never dull. How they get to their happily ever after is something you’ll have to read for yourself.

As always you can always be read on its own, however, you may want to start from the beginning to learn about the Montgomery siblings.

Ms. Chase brings us back to the large, boisterous Montgomery clan with a sweet tale set in Portland, Oregon. They welcome the reader with open arms and hearts.
Megan Montgomery returned to her workaholic habits after her weekend with the sexy, smart friend of her cousin. Any relationship was not going to work. Her job was too demanding. And he lived on the other side of the country. But…
Alex Rabat could not forget the cousin of his best friend. One weekend, a series of messages for a few months, and getting stood up on his one and only trip back to New York later, he had no interest in other girls.
Then fate intervenes – or is it matchmaking relatives? When Megan moves to Oregon to work for her cousin she can’t avoid Alex. Sparks on tinder make a flame. The question-- is it a quick flash or a slow, steady burn?

Megan is a workaholic but she is trying to change her ways and trying to find herself. She regrets having lost the one person who truly understood her and she came to really care about due to her working habits. Alex can’t seem to stop thinking about Megan even when 2 years have passed. The connection and the ease in which they both connected is hard to get over. When Alex realizes that he has another chance with Megan, he takes the opportunity to get to know her better. They both decide that if they are going to give this relationship another try they will make sure they communicate this time around. Megan and Alex may have started rocky 2 years ago but now their relationship is solid and when destiny or 2 meddling ladies gives them a second chance nothing will stop them from expressing their love and having their HEA.

I love the Montgomery family and I love second chance romance stories. This is the perfect combo of both! Megan and Alex loved, and lost and now have the chance to love again...if they can just get past their past! Megan, like others in her family, is a workaholic who pushed Alex aside for work. Alex is a physical therapist who is working to exorcise the demons from his own past where his best friend became handicapped. Their story is filled with love, romance and pushy aunts. Samantha Chase does a great job at bringing this couple to their happily ever after!

The Montgomery Family is one of the reasons that I love all Samantha Chase's books. I remember years ago when I first read the first Montgomery book and discover the Cupid William Montgomery trying to marry all his sons. Now it is the other part of the family and how fun and sexy is the book!

Megan and Alex are a second chance love affair. She was not ready for him in the first time, but now they are slowly developing a strong relationship and with the help of the uncles and aunties...

This is a wonderful book and you will love it!

Sweet and sexy book from Samantha Chase in the Montgomery Brothers series! I haven't read all of the previous books in the series, and I didn't feel like I needed to to enjoy this one. However, Megan and Alex's story was an amazing read, and now I HAVE to read all the others. The secondary characters are wonderful and the family dynamics are well weaved into their HEA. I like how they both had to step back from the path they were on individually to figure out how to create a path for them as a couple. Wonderful story!

This sweet second chance story was a delight to read. I loved how Alex and Megan never stopped thinking of one another but thought that the other had moved on without second thought.. Samantha does an amazing job with her writing and describing how hard it can be for someone to have a social life let alone a dating life when u pick ur job over others that u say mean or meant something. Megan moves across the country in hopes of changing that part of her life. Samantha did a fantastic job.

After a wild weekend of passion, Megan picks work over romance and lets Alex go. Flash forward two years and the two are thrown together again when Megan moves to the other side is the USA and lives with her family for work. Can Alex prove to her that they are worth fighting for? Or will Megan remain a workaholic and never put herself first? Once again, Samantha Chase writes about characters that the reader cannot help but fall in love with and want to see get their HEA.

Until there was Us: I really like this story, it was emotional and a wonderful second chance romance. Megan and Alex really struggle with their own life issues. Megan letting go and finding herself and doing the things that she wants and makes her happy instead of trying to get her fathers approval.
Alex struggled with the guilt of not being able to stop his friend from and hurt and then not being able to heal him to the point of walking again. Grab the tissue.

I love Samantha Chase and her Montgomery's. I like how this story has continued to follow the characters from the original stories because I always wanted to know that they really did live happily ever after. Chase continues to write the characters I fall for and hope they do find their happy endings!!

Super cute story with a great deeper than I expected plot line. There are so many layers to peel open in this story. Characters are deep. It’s not a flaky love story. There are actual real life issues and challenges. I wanted to cheer the main characters on and was hoping for them!

Love! Love! Love! I loved reading Until There was Us by Samantha Chase book in her Montgomery Brothers series. Megan Montgomery and Alex Rabat met while attending a wedding and the sparks flew between them. Megan was always cautious and she had thoughtfully planned out her life which did not include a relationship. Yet that didn’t stop her from thinking about him for the next two years. When Megan accepts a job at her cousin's company across the country, she does everything she can to avoid Alex, knowing he'll shake up her carefully crafted world. Alex had a great life, loving his job and friends, but like Megan hadn’t been able to stop thinking about their passionate encounter. Once Alex discovers Megan has moved to town, he set out, making it his goal to show her that maybe it’s time to take a few more risks.

I loved seeing Megan become more comfortable taking risks, being spontaneous, and living life to its fullest as she spent more time with Alex. He helped her come into her own person and learn to stand up for herself. Alex might appear perfect, knowing the answers and following the correct paths but that was far from the truth. Alex was sensitive and compassionate and a wonderful sounding board for Megan and his patients but he struggled with his own inability to help everyone. With Megan’s help, Alex learns to accept his limitations and be satisfied with who he is and what he can accomplish.

In this newest addition to the Montgomery Brothers series, Megan and Alex are given a second chance two years after their long distance relationship fell apart.

I loved Alex. He was patient and understanding but determined as he pursued Megan. Megan was a bit of a mystery to me at first but as we got to know her and understand her relationship with her father, her actions made more sense.

This is a really good story!

??⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️??

In this sweet love story about another member of the Montgomery family we get to be apart of Alex and Megan’s love story. Samantha Chase doesn’t disappoint in her latest book.

Authors Blurb: He'll have to play his cards just right for her to take a chance on him...
Megan Montgomery has always been careful...except that one time she threw caution to the wind and hooked up with a sexy groomsman at her cousin's wedding. But that was two years ago—so why can't she stop thinking about Alex Rebat?

Alex has been living the good life. He loves his job, has a great circle of friends, and doesn't answer to anyone. The problem? There's only one woman he wants and she ran out on him after one amazing weekend. But now that Megan's coming back to town, Alex hopes he can convince her to take another chance on him...and on a future that can only be built together.

I really enjoyed this book and it kept me engrossed throughout. I really loved the characters and the way they interacted with each other. This is a fun, hot, romantic must read book and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.

This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in dual POV my personal favorite this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.

Thanks Netgally for letting me read and review.??

“Opposites attract, 5 stars”

Megan is a workaholic, it runs in the family. With moving comes change, a whole lot of change that is needed. What happens when you start reevaluating what you want in life? Will you discover everything you’ve been working towards is enough for will you be left craving more?

Alex wants to settle down, but its easier said then done. He met someone once who made him think about it but the relationship fell through the cracks before they really got a chance. Now the opportunity is there again. Will he manage to convince the workaholic who’s occupied his mind for quite some time to take a chance on him?

I adored Alex. He was strong for Megan when she needed it and he was just there. He refused to let her fall into old bad habits and pushed her to be better and see the bigger picture. There were times I wanted to throat punch Megan but that basically boiled down to the fact she was insecure, which honestly in the end I couldn’t blame her for. Us women can sometimes be fickle, but in the end when Alex needed her she was there and that’s all that mattered.

I loved how Megan and Alex’s lives easily entwined. I enjoyed the secondary characters as well who helped pull them together. Until There Was Us has a very heavy family influence which I loved. It was just a sweet story with a little spice mixed in that went by all too fast.

With every Montgomery Brothers book that Ms. Chase writes the more I love this family. This book in particular for some reason resonated with me more than the others. That may have something to do with the fact that I was alternately, swooning, bawling my eyes out and laughing uproariously thanks to a camping trip that Alex and Megan took!

Alex and Megan met at a family wedding two years ago and Monica Montgomery was all about testing out her matchmaking skills....unfortunately, the first time around it didn't stick, but when they find themselves in the same city thanks to a new job for Megan, everything changes.

I loved watching Megan grow in so many ways thanks to taking time to live life a little more than she had in the past. She realized that life is passing her by and if she wants a chance with Alex things have to change. As for our hero, he's a man that has a demon living in his heart that as I mentioned above literally had me full out crying when it comes to a precipice.

There's something about Alex and Megan that just makes sense and while they have to at times fight for what they want, in the end when it comes to a forever love, every battle scar, those we can see and especially those we don't see, are worth it to have the kind of love they have.

This book is high on emotion and a story that will grab your heart, niggle it's way in there and never leave!

The Montgomery Series continues with Until There Was Us almost as a second chance romance. Megan and Alex met two years prior at a Zach and Gabriella’s wedding. The premise of previous books has been an uncle who was playing at matchmaking. This time the moms try their hand, but it is two years in the making. Originally, the couple did not make it due to distance, fear and a bit of workaholic tendencies.

Without realizing it, Megan and Alex are being manipulated just a bit. But, they really want to try to make it work this time. Each go through some difficult issues. Alex has been working with a long time friend from high school who is not being successful in healing. Megan is still seeking family approval while hiding a talent and gift she works hard at providing for others. Although they have a lot in common, there are some areas for compromise. The desire both have to make it work goes a long way to helping them reach their HEA. This is a sweet book that is different from the previous books in the series and is just as enjoyable in its own right. Thank you Net Galley for sharing this book in exchange for an honest review.

Megan and Alex. This story gave me ALL. THE. FEELS.

I honestly don’t even know how to put into words all that I felt about this story by Samantha Chase. Yes, the relationship and how the two characters meet starts out very light and easy, and yes, they don’t stay together right away, but this story has deeper issues to it that made it so much more special to me as a reader. And when they come together, it’s anazing in every way.

This book will just not disappoint you. It talks about life, finding a new reason to live, letting go of guilt, living your life to the fullest. I literally could not put this book down and you won’t be able to either!

It was very well developed, the story line was perfectly written and I genuinely loved every character. I always wonder how Samantha Chase will manage to outdo herself, and yet, she still does it every single time. Pick up this book. Now. Just go do yourself a favor because I know you’ll love this just as much as I did!

OMG I loved this one! I loved the character Megan. She is such a Megan! Honestly I think Alex has made my favorite guy list grow! I think the part about Maylene snoring may have been one of my favorite parts of this book! I laughed so hard at it! Adorable dog aside, I think this is one of the best second chance romances I have read in a while. It was so hard to put down once I started reading it! Samantha has wrote another awesome story!

Megan was your typical workaholic. Working late, weekends and forgetting about social plans. But when she went to her cousins wedding she met Zach and he swept her off her feet and she had a wonderful unforgettable weekend.
Two years later still single, a move across the country and still carrying the memory of that weekend they meet up again. Will this be the start of a great relationship or an awkward run in

Samantha Chase did it again. Alex and Megans second chance romance story is one of the best you will ever read. Megan learning that work isn't the only important thing in life. She learns that love is just as important. Alex helping Megan realize what life can be all about. Once you start this book you will have trouble putting it down. Until there was Us is one of the best books I have read in a long time.

Megan Montgomery and Alex Rebat met each other at Zach Montgomery’s wedding and spent a passionate weekend in a Portland, Oregon hotel suite. Alex and Megan kept in touch for a few months but, things didn’t work out. Samantha Chase took a chance on this couple’s backstory—and it worked! I came to love this couple and read their story in one sitting.
I adored Alex Rebat in I’ll Be There and was thrilled that Ms. Chase had written his story. As Zach’s physical therapist, Alex had a pivotal role in Zach’s recovery. Loved that Megan described Alex as “a force of nature.” Alex is a kind, caring, confident man who is always there for his friends and family. Megan Montgomery is a workaholic who is more comfortable in yoga pants, big sweaters and t-shirts. She has moved cross country to take an IT job with Montgomery Industries.
Until There Was Us is a story of how love brings out the best in people. At first, Megan did not appear to be a warm, fuzzy person it took me a few chapters to understand her. I wondered if she was the right one for Alex. Neither Megan nor Alex is perfect and this made the story work for me.
It’s clear that Alex loves Megan with all of his heart. The chemistry between Alex and Megan is apparent when they talk to each other at Zach’s home. Their journey and the struggles they encounter unfold with each chapter of the book. Both characters grow in the story. Alex is patient with Megan as she gains confidence in herself, her job and in their relationship.
Alex is one of my favorite Samantha Chase heroes. He is kind to his patients, a good friend to Zach and listens to Megan and does not push or judge her. Zach, Gabriella, Summer, Ethan and their babies add a dose of reality, friendship and humor to the story. There are lots of references to William Montgomery and his matchmaking skills in but, in my opinion it’s Summer’s sassy pug Maylene who works her magic and brings our couple together! The last few chapters of Until There Was Us are perfectly written; the story flowed effortlessly, the writing was crisp and dialogue was emotional. Megan makes a heartfelt decision and conquers several personal issues when she steps up to do something for Alex.
It takes courage to step out of your comfort zone – to take a leap of faith, close your eyes and hope for the best. Samantha Chase took a leap of faith in Until There Was Us by pairing an unlikely couple and offering them a second chance. I adored this well- plotted story and reconnecting with all of the Montgomerys!

Another great book to read while relaxing on the beach. I had a hard time putting it down, and really annoyed my husband when I was reading after midnight on my Kindle. I adored this book! This is a touching, funny, emotional, & romantic story.
It's a well-written book with memorable
and relatable characters.
While at her cousin's wedding, Megan
is asked to dance, by a very handsome man. Usually, she is very cautious,
but she told herself, why not.
Alex, is good friends with the groom.
He was instantly attracted to Megan.
Megan & Alex, had spent a romantic
weekend together. They tried to see
each other after, but Megan lives in
New York, & Alex in Portland.
Jump ahead two years ~
Megan is moving to Portland, & starting
a new job. She has never stopped thinking about Alex. Zach, Megan's cousin, mentions to him that Megan is moving here. Alex is very happy to hear this, because he's never gotten over her.
When Megan & Alex finally see each other, the feelings are there, but it's awkward between them.
Now that Megan & Alex finally have the chance to get to know each other, will they find a way to make it work, even after all this time?
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!!!
