His Property (Book One)

Hannah Ford usually writes on the dark side and this is no different. Although His Property is not a standalone, it still takes you on the journey from innocence to exploration of the darker needs. I received the book as an ARC (advance reader copy) with the promise of a fair review.. If you like hea wait for the whole series. If you like to read a lot and can pick up wherever the last installment left off, then go for it. The next book should be along soon. Either way you will probably like the books.

Several times within the space of a few minutes, the heroine reluctantly agrees (again) to a sexual relationship with the hero in order to save her father's life, then considers how to escape or call on help. Um, this is not plausible. She comes across as intelligent enough at times, but this lazy plot device makes her seem like a ditz.

Couldn't get even halfway through.

Nice stories. The only thing is the voice of each character sounds exactly the same. The language is the same, the girl begging for it in the second book sounds exactly the same as in the first book. You really can't tell that the heroine in the bonus book is someone different than the heroine in the first book. My advice would be to not read these books back to back.

I loved this book. What a HOT couple of chapters! I wish this was a full length novel and the author gave you everything at once. But being that I subscribe to Kindle Unlimited it doesn't bother me that this book is just a couple of chapters. Once she has completely written the series I just may by the complete set to read my leisure. C'mon Hannah I'm ready for more! ?

I enjoyed reading this book. I loved the alpha male character and I can't wait to see where their "relationship" will end up....so yes it is a cliffhanger. There's a little bit of everything to keep your interest. A lot of sex, controlling behavior,chemistry, and drama. I gave the book four stars, mainly because of the editing issues. Loved the pace. Enjoyed the typical "Rawness" that is the typical Hannah Ford style. I enjoyed the new perspective of the dominant who "heals" a person but the one thing that was bothersome was that a "typical" dominant aiways cares about birth control. Why doesn't Liam? He actually defies it. Maybe the next installment will clarify this attitude.

Delicious, decadent, suspenseful, just wow. I love this book and have moved on to book two and it is wow as well. I love Emery and Liam, she's so innocent, he's so driven and tortured. Where is her father? Why did he do this to his daughter? What did Emery's mother do to her and why? So many questions. Very dark, very deep, awesome read!

This is interesting if a little unrealistic, even by romance novel and erotica novel standards. Still enjoying it though. Definitely going to read more. Not going to read everything this author has written because I tried some of her other work and didn't like it but this is much better than what I've sampled thus far.

Emery?? is mouthy to him, so if course he punishes her with spankings??. Then she tries to run from him, so she gets a real whipping? for that and cuffed to the bed. Emery?? is a natural submissive, so she actually starts doing bad things to get spanked??.
Liam???? really likes her, they have a lot of chemistry together and he is fiercely protective of her. Emery?? is getting used to his erratic dominating? behavior and his sudden sexual ??moods. She craves him! All the while, hot? and naaasssty Liam????? is doing her bareback? with his huge Johnson ? a couple of times a day and she's not on Birth control! Ooooops!
I dislike the fact that this is a cliffhanger, but I have KU, she not that big of a deal. However, I read two or three books a day, and by the time the next installment comes out, I have forgotten about the book.
Authors should take this into consideration when publishing books in a series like this. I usually wait and just get the whole thing in a bundle.

I started reading this series back when it first came out. I am so glad to learn more about Liam and Emery. Still, there are so many questions that I cannot wait to get answers to. Wow what a cliffhanger and the suspense continues! Hannah did it again with this book in making you want more. This book is just as intoxicating as “What He Wants.” I loved the characters of Liam and Emery. Liam is sexy, handsome, a billionaire, and CEO of Rutherford Enterprises, the biggest tech company in the world. Emery is a college student who was quiet, shy, and a virgin. Emery was attending a college fraternity party at the Alpha Chi house with her roommate and best friend Maddie. Unbeknown to Emery, her no good father offered her to Liam as collateral for his gambling debt. While Emery was outside the party getting some air and letting her guard down, a black SUV pulled up and abducted her. Will Emery be able to forgive her father for using her as collateral for a debt? Will Emery be able to escape? Why would a CEO want to kidnap someone? There is suspense, twists, intrigue, and of course sex that you are not sure what is going to happen next. This book will pique your interest. Hannah is a very good writer, and this story is well written. If you have read any of Hannah’s books before, you will enjoy this book as well. I cannot wait to read what will happen from the cliffhanger in the next book.

I really enjoyed reading this book! It is definitely a hot and steamy read! I have to say that one of my initial thoughts was that things escalated quickly. Especially considering some of the circumstances surrounding the characters' first sexual interaction. Other than that, I think it's great! Liam is that alpha that you start to hate and then he brings you back around everytime! I'm anxious to find out what his back story is! What made him who he is? I'm sure when we find out we'll love him even more! Can't wait for the next installment!

Hannah Ford writes another amazing book. This story keeps you guessing and trying to figure out what's going to happen next. The only part I don't like is the kidnapping part even though its an important part of the book. Liam is a very strong alpha male and I can't wait to read the next book to see what happens

Hannah Ford's books are some of the best I've read, for the What He Wants series (can't wait to find out what's next) to His Property. Liam is a New York City shark, my dream husband, but he also has a dark side. A very dark side. Liam always gets what he wants, and what he wants is Emery. Although Emery tries to fight it, she submits to Liam time and time again. I can't wait to see where their relationship goes, book #2 please hurry!!

Great read as always. Left on a cliff hanger , so I am dying to get the next book!!! Definitely got sex scenes and you can really feel Emery's internal struggle between what she feels is right and what her heart and body want!!!

Really liked the book!! Was into the book 100% then it was over..I'd give the book a 5 star rating but it is frustrating that I have to wait for the next book..I've read so many that I've had to wait for that I ended up just deleting them & moving on..I don't even mind paying for the next books as long as there is an ending but having to wait for them, months down the road, after having read 50 other books, forgetting what I just read........well, you get the picture ?

This is the beginning of a beautiful romance between two broken souls, Liam and Emery - with some excellent kinky lovin' thrown in for good measure. The storyline is well structured and you find yourself wanting to get to know the characters better-and are given snippets of their history as the story progresses. The sex scenes mesh well with the storyline in general and are hot! An easy, addictive read with excellent writing I can't wait for the next instalment!

I love Hanna Fords books but hate waiting for the next installment to come out. Would rather she published a whole book at once or at least made them come out with greater frequency. The plot in this book is awesome shifting thru an intricate story that is not all about the relationship. You get caught up in the story pretty easily and it moves quickly. I can't wait for the next part of the story to come out.

This is the new version of the first two chapters of this story I read months ago and kept waiting for chapter 3. Finally Hannah gave us a longer more involved story for us to follow. It combines parts of the 1st two chapters in to a much longer and better book. A lot of new aspects of the characters and more involved incidents happen compared to the original storyline.. Changes happen all the time and it keeps you on your toes. I do like the interaction between Liam and Emory so will be interesting to see what happens in the next book. Have hope this story will be only I want to keep reading.

If you are looking for steam, this book has it. There is a hint of danger, love, and lust. I love the way the story is coming together but I need more! I can't wait for the next installment. I would really like to see more of Liams POV
