I really really loved the other books in this series but this one just didn't do it for me. SPOILER: maybe it was because of the way she acted with her weight, but i just really wanted to scream at her!

I have read all three books in the Danvers series and this book was a big let down. While I enjoyed the first two in the series, Jason and Claire story was great, this book just grated on my nerves. The h has an eating disorder and is terrified of gaining weight. She goes as far to starve herself during her pregnancy. Upon selfish and immature.
Overall, Beth was annoying, not the strong h I normally enjoy reading about. There was not enough real chemistry between the h and H.
I would recommend the first two in the series but don't bother with this one.

Fall For Me (A Danver's Novel) by Sydney Landon
Nick & Beth
Ok, first and foremost, I won this book, but I want you to know I would have paid upwards of $10 for it.... it's that good. This entire series has held a sacred part of my heart since I started it long ago! The series is one of those that will stick with you for years to come! You'll remember it for years to come and refer back to it fondly!
It does deal with some dark disturbing subjects, but nothing that can't be fixed with time, love, and a little counseling! Even though there are some dark subjects it's also very light hearted and with the exceptions of a few swears it might have passed in some of your prudish people's book!!! You know who your are... a couple EFF words, a few SEE words and a dash of the ESS words and you all cringe and give a bad review just because of that!!
I loved all the banter between Suzi and just about everybody she came in contact with... she's such a whip!! Glad to see so much of her in this book. I would give anything to have a big sister like that! It was great to see the rest of the gang show up and join in too.. I've really missed Claire, Jason, Gray, and Suzi and they were just as much a part of this book and they were their own books! Nick was... well... Nick... I know he was trying, but going about it the incorrect way just about every time he tried! Poor Beth, she had so much to deal with on her plate, but would she ask for help... NO WAY!! That babysitting scene... cracked me right the heck up.... "You can't throw poop on the beach!" Glad to see it all worked out! Now those Denton parents... wholly moly... I just wanted to send them packing... I mean really... who treats their own kids like that!! Jerks!!!
The writing style was smooth and simply flowed... It took me a couple of days to get through only cause I had to take care of those people who I live with.. ya know... hubby, daughter, son... teeheehee!! It was 305 (kindle version) pages long and for me it was just right! I'm genuinely hoping there's a fourth book involving Ella and Declan... now that would be my favorite in the series if it's ever made... and innocent and a troubled recluse - wowza that ones gonna rock! Thank God I'm married, or I'd be "Barbecuing alone!" LOL!!
5 STARS!

As the third book in the Danvers series, this book can easily be read by itself although prior characters play key roles. Smart, fun and sassy the heroine gives herself a new lease on life.
Beth has always been the quiet, shy one. With overly critical parents she has always been conscious of her weight. But now she is thin and looking fabulous but still feels fat inside. When she is instantly attracted to the playboy Nick Merimon and he seems interested in her she knows it is only a fling. He isn’t interested in a drab nobody for the long term. So Beth is determined to enjoy her ‘pleasures’ while she can. The problem is that Beth finds out she is pregnant! When she tells Nick she is surprised when instead of running away he vows to do the right thing and offers to marry her. But Beth doesn’t want a man who feels trapped with her, she wants love. As they try to keep their hands off each other, can they stop themselves from falling in love and will Beth finally feel secure enough to let herself be happy?
This was a heart-felt book. Beth has always felt like the ugly duckling and she has low self-esteem. She doesn’t see her self as the sexy siren that she has become. Nick is the charmer but he is also responsible. Their strong attraction keeps them close to each other but as they are forced to open up they soon discover they have something lasting. Beth is extremely easy to relate to. She feels like the outsider. Readers will be sure to root for her especially when they read about her overly critical and domineering parents. There is also another story line that makes this book entertaining as the shy, sweet, and innocent Ella is attracted to the cold, handsome and wealthy Declan. The previous characters also are largely featured in this book which makes it feel like coming home.
An ugly duckling must realize that she is a swan and open her heart to love.

Sydney Landon has delivered another book with loveable characters that is full of emotional, humorous and very hot steamy moments.
Focussing on Suzy's sister Beth, Gray's brother Nick and their unexpected and unplanned surprise, both characters surprised me; there was a bit of a reversal in personality going on which kept the book and the series fresh. Beth frustrated me, yet I felt for her and Nick, well he literally had me swooning at his actions. The lives of all the characters from the previous books continue to evolve and they bring many of the lighthearted humorous moments with them.
It made me laugh, it tugged on the heartstrings and it was heartwarming. Definitely worth reading and I'm hoping that Declan and Ella will be the next pairing; it certainly seemed to be setting the scene nicely for a potential romance and I have an inkling that there lies a story with some surprises and a complicated man....

I think this was a good story, however Beth really irritated me a lot in this story. If this was not such a good romance and I was Nicky I would have run like hell from her. We all have issues about ourselves and not liking it, but there comes a point in our lives where we have to look in the mirror and tell ourselves that we love us first. It was not intended for everyone to look the same.

Fall For Me, Danvers #3, by Sydney Landon
Grade: C-
"I have puke all over me; don't you think I deserve the satisfaction of some profanity?"
Beth Denton spent her life being fat, hiding in her sister Suzy's shadow and never falling in love. Now years later Beth has lost the weight and finally went for a guy who is way out of her league. Nick Merimon is the sexiest thing Beth has ever laid eyes on and when she touches him she goes up in flames. Much to her surprise Nick keeps coming around more and more until he's practically living with her but a new twist will shake up their relationship and Beth is ready for Nick to walk away.
Nick Merimon has always had an easy time with the ladies but has never had one like Bethin his life. The roles are reversed and Nick finds himself wanting more while she keeps him at arms distance. When Beth finds out she's pregnant Nick knows this is his chance to step up and have a family with her but convincing Beth to take a chance with him will take all of his strength and patience.
I couldn't wait to get my hands on Fall For Me after reading Suzy's book, Not Planning On You, and seeing the sparks fly between Beth and Nick. I have to say I am so disappointed with what I thought would be an amazing love story. Fall For Me picks up just a few months after Not Planning On You with Beth and Nick having a relationship based solely on sex with him wanting more and her waiting for him to leave. There were only two things I really enjoyed in this book and they were seeing past characters, especially Suzy and Gray, and getting the setup for Ella and Declan which I'm guessing will be book four. Without these two things i would have DNFed the whole thing.
The biggest problem was Beth and her horrible attitude. This girl is a big pit of self loathing, emotional problems and eating issues. I understand being the fat girl, losing the weight and still having the bad body image but she takes it way too far and makes it very dangerous. Beth also likes to tell not only herself that Nick is too good for her but also tell Ella over and over again how much Declan is out of her league and to give up. Worst friend advice ever! I understand not wanting your friend to get hurt but put it a little nicer for the poor girl.
I like Nick a lot and was looking forward to watching him fall in love but the problem is that we don't see it. One minute he's yelling at his mother about how he doesn't do love and the next he's professing it to Beth. I'm sorry what?? Did I miss something? This was a major problem with the book in general where someone would say something than have a change of heart without the reader knowing it. The whole book was unorganized and never let us get close to either Nick or Beth which made it had to care if they got together in the end.
This series is driving me crazy. I hate one book, love the next and then hate the third. I'm putting all of my eggs into the fourth book and if it is as bad as one and two I am done with the Danvers series for good.

Whoa!!! The last thing Beth Denton expected when she threw caution to the wind and began a steamy affair with sexy Nick Merimon was to find herself pregnant. She's stunned by Nick's reaction! She's always viewed him as a playboy but he seems almost excited. For the last six months, Nick hasn't been able to resist Beth. She's become almost his obsession. So, when he finds out she's carrying his child, he's ready to jump right in. But Beth is riddled with insecurity and isn't sure that Nick is the best bet as husband and father material. She better hold tight because Nick doesn't intend to let her escape!
Fall for Me is the second book that I've read by Sydney Landon and I can honestly say, it's even better than the first. I love Nick's total absorption with Beth and after a lifetime of put downs by her clueless parents, I could completely understand Beth's self-esteem issues. I'll be looking for more Danvers novels in the future. Readers can't go wrong here!

I love the Danvers series. I've been hooked since the first book, Weekends Required. I couldn't wait to read about Beth & Nick. This is by far, my favorite of the series. It has so many funny and hot, steamy moments. I couldn't put it down once I started. I had to sneak it in during work hours too! LoL. I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't read the series so if you haven't then you're missing out. Love!! Love!! Loved it!! Now that I have this one out of my system, I'm impatiently waiting for Ella & Declan's story..please hurry Sydney!!

Fall For Me was filled with such a sweet undertone of love. Nick had been made out to be such a "ladies man" - yet he turned out to be a truly loving man! Beth hit home with me, as I have struggled with weight my entire life. When Nick and Gray stand up to Suzy and Beth's parents - I was on my feet screaming! It was so great to root for Beth and Nick. The story was captivating! The best part for me was going back and re-reading Not Planning On You and seeing so much of Nick and Beth in that story! It was like a bonus! Thank you Sydney Landon for giving us a roller coaster of emotion - a ride I would stand in line for hours on end!

I loved the first two Danvers books and was excited when I found this one. This book held every cliche possible, woman who is independent, woman who is insecure, woman who beats up on herself, woman who underestimates man...it was exhausting. Not that much fun to read because I was just waiting for her to do something stupid next, I just wanted it over. Save your money unless you really want to read about someones messed up inner monologue that runs for too long.

I was extremely disappointed by this book. It was tedious and just went on and on about her pregnancy. The book description sounded so enticing I read the first two books in the Danver's series and loved them. I got an early copy of this book from the store (a nice surprise) and I thought it was a mistaken purchase and returned it, very glad that I didn't actually spend money on this book.
I found myself totally disconnected from the characters throughout the book.
I would recommend the first 2 books in the series, but for me this one is not worth the time it takes to read it.
Spoiler alert:
The entire book felt like a detailed journal through someone's pregnancy - a lot like showing your holiday slides to people - it is long and boring you have to actually BE there and GO through it yourself. This book did not get me to invest in the characters at all.

No cliffhanger
Part of a larger series but each book is about a different couple
No major editing errors
Told from both POVs
This series actually continues to get better and better. I am finding myself liking each book more than the last. There are still some hard to catch transitions between character POVs but the plot and characters were so well developed that I didn't mind it as much as I have in the previous books.
Having struggled with my weight most of my life I could totally understand where Beth was coming from and seeing how well Nick treated her was awesome. I love that the quiet Ms Beth turned out to be a sex maniac.
I especially loved the very ending where you get to hear a convo between Nicks parents. Literally had me laughing out loud. I am excited to read the next book in the series about Declan and Ella. Should be very interesting based on the snippets we got in this book.
