God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater: A Novel
God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater: A Novel

Review:- There was a lot of set-up for a story that never developed.

This was my 1st K.V. book.
I usually read/scan reviewers; if a mix of both genders is represented, I find a better chance of enjoying the book. (And, it eliminates the 'fluff'.)

MARS VS VENUS -Interestingly, there were mainly male reviewers & the majority of these gave the book high marks. Of the few women represented, most seemed to agree with me...or, I with them.

Since the book is void of car chases,... Read more

Yo antes de ti / Me Before You (Spanish Edition)

Review:I actually bought this book for my mom. I read this book in English and immediately fell in love. I honestly could not put it down and it got to the point where I was reading it at work and getting frustrated when customers would ask me for help and prevent me from reading more, haha! I thought my mom might enjoy the story as well but didn't want to make it 'homework' by giving her my English copy so I bought her the Spanish version so that she would read for pleasure. She loves it and finished ... Read more

Bared to You/Reflected in You/Entwined with You/Captivated By You

Review:I might be a bit unfair to this series because I am not a fan of SMUT (porn). I got to page 4 and had to put it down cause it was very porn-like. My cousin read these books and absolutely LOVED the series but if you don't like to read porn this isn't the series for you. If you liked 50 shades, I hear this is a better story line. Read more

William Shakespeare's Star Wars

Review:This reads exactly like a work of The Bard... I knew the moment I heard about this adaptation that I needed to get a copy, and I was not mistaken. Now if only someone would put this on stage as an actual play... the Force would truly be with me! Read more

Review:King Lear by William Shakespeare

King Lear is Shakespeare's finest tragedy and it is Shakespeare's most psychologically dark tragedy. King Lear is an intensive study of human nature. Read more

Review:Other ratings said that there was definitions of some of the old world words at the bottom of the pages which is why I bought this particular version. There is not, the defintions are in the back of the book which make it harder to read for someone not versed in old English. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. Read more

The Crucible: A Play in Four Acts
The Crucible: A Play in Four Acts

Review:This is certainly an interesting story and a poignant look at the way mass hysteria can shape a culture. Though it was written during the Communist witch hunt in America and written about Puritan times, it certainly can be applied to modern times. It’s interesting to read through this and see that though the times may change, humans are rather unchangeable. Read more
