This is a very endearing story. It highlights how assumptive thinking can lead so easily to heartache and how actual communication can heal. Loved it! The characters were engaging and the plot well developed it's so well written. It makes for captivating easy read.

Right out of the starting gate the reader is dumped into the middle of this story. This technique caught me unawares. I felt as though something was missing. There wasn't any gradual build-up; just the pursuit and why was this happening? The story was totally from the h's viewpoint. And I must say that I really didn't like Galen at all. He came across as one big misogynistic Greek without any redeeming qualities. The brother, Perrin, was portrayed in a better light. Ms. Kyle's writing style was too different here and one I hope isn't repeated.

Celia Kyle takes a different track with The Werewolf Tycoon's Baby. In previous books by this author you see a lot of sass and circumstance, but in this book we see a more serious side. On a holiday vacation, full human Lissa meets a Greek tycoon and falls madly in love, she gives the man her virginity and oops, of course get pregnant. Learning their is a master plan in action to steal her baby from her and dispose of her, Lissa runs from the man she comes to find out is a werewolf. The start of the books finds Lissa caught by the werewolf tycoon, Galen, and dragged back to Greece.

Galen, of course, has no idea why she ran, but Lissa doesn't realize this. While I like this book it runs pretty much like one would predict. I was hoping for some turns and twists. However, I did like the writing and hope that Celia will consider using this more serious approach in future books. This book is definitely worth a read.

It could have been much more interesting, but just came off as two idiots who could have solved the entire problem with a simple conversation. The whole novella made me want to smack both of the lead characters. Hopefully the baby isn't as stupid as his parents, 'cause wow. It reminded me somewhat of the Lynne Graham stories from a decade ago, but nowhere near as good, and with werewolves thrown in. Don't waste your time, it's not worth it.

Jealousy pure and simple.
First came courtship.
Then, there was passion.
Next, comes baby.
Last, is the betrayal and escape.
Melissa fled Greece, her mate Galen, and peace because of petty jealously.
Human waitress, Melissa takes off in an attempt to save herself and more importantly her unborn child from his ruthless Alpha wolf father, Galen.
Galen manages to track her down and I do mean track.
There was an adrenaline pumping foot race involved. Ultimately, Galen does return Melissa to his home, against her and their unborn child's wishes.
All Galen can see is that she abandoned him.
She betrayed him.
And she stole his heir.
All the while, he does not know the real reason she took off in the first place.
Love is blind.

Throughout this book I couldn’t shake the feeling that I missed something rather important. It was as if Celia Kyle dropped her readers in the middle of the book. There were few references ever made to what went on between the two main characters before. This left me feeling lost and unable to really understand the character’s behaviors. If you are to start a book like that it would really help the readers out if there were more detailed flashbacks into the past.
As far as the two main characters, Galen and Lissa, I felt like they were okay but not genuine. Lissa’s personality was driving me crazy. I liked how determined and strong she was when she first appeared but the rest of the story she goes back and forth between that and a quiet submissive who just takes the abuse. The same inconsistency could be said for Galen. He would be dominating and ruthless as he dismissed Lissa as if she were nothing then the next minute he would show compassion towards her and their baby. As a reader the main characters personalities just didn’t feel real enough to allow me to feel a connection and love these characters.
Overall, Celia Kyle does know how to take readers on a journey to another world with her writing. I felt like I was living the scenes she wrote out. Despite the timeline and the characters I did enjoy this unique take on a shifter story and I would give her books another chance.

This is the first of the Howls Romance Series - a series of PN romances all by different authors. As Celia Kyle is up there among my favorite authors I just had to give it a try & I'd give it 3.75 stars so we'll make that a 4.

The story picks up kind of in the middle of things. The main characters, Melissa - a human & Galen - a wolf shifter, have already met & been separated. The background fills us in on the beginning well enough for a short story & there are enough details for us to follow this story nicely. There was something that kind of seemed off to me though. While I'm not really familiar with that culture's attitudes towards women & Galen did have reason to doubt her, I think the way Lissa is treated in this story was a little much. Yes, she ran but she had reason. Unfortunately Galen seems to constantly be angry with her & doesn't listen to her at all. He simply dismisses her worries & problems as her imagination & doesn't seem to understand that the stress she's under is too much. That doesn't seem like someone in love to me.

While this book had it's rough spots, I did like the story line & thought the characters were generally well done. The 'bad guys' (or in this cause 'bad girl') were deliciously bad & fun to hate. All in all it was a good afternoon's read & I'd happily read it again.

So this short story hits the ground running quite literally as our heroine Melissa is desperate to evade her ex who just happens to be an alpha werewolf oh and her baby daddy to boot! I wasn't sure if the absence of their initial romance would bug me but happily there's enough backstory filtered in that I didn't really mind. I'm not always a fan of the mate trope but felt it was used to great effect here as even Melissa seemed confused by it all.
What's very obvious is that Galen is alpha to his core and I know those chest beating , domineering types can often overshadow those around them but Melissa really didn't seem perturbed by it and constantly challenged him although I admit I really wanted her to tackle 'that issue' head on. Without spoilers I can't say too much but the lack of communication between the couple really never helped matters. It was very clear that Melissa understood why Galen was so forceful and she didn't ever strike me as submissive in any way so I really enjoyed the bulk of the story .
Yes I was happily reading and then the end came . O dear , there is a very nasty character in this who is brought to light but the outcome is far too ambiguous . I do not consider myself vengeful or vindictive but the author left just too much hanging in the air . Yes there a sweet epilogue to show the couple have found their happy ever after but having invested my time in this story I just wanted complete closure .

I received this book for a voluntary and honest review. This book was gifted to me as an ARC.

In this book we meet Melissa Hill and Galen Liakos. Lissa has been on the run for a while now she refuses to just lie down when she is threaten that she will die when she gives birth to her child. She believes that Galen (the babies father and the Alpha of his wolf pact) is in on the plan. So what would any mother do she gets away from the people who she believes only want her as a human incubator. However Galen isn't just lying down either, he tracks her down and again what does any good mother do she runs for her life. Can she learn to trust the one man she has given her body to in the hopes that he will save both her life and her son's? Or will she learn that foolish dreams on lead to heartache?

Galen will not let his child and the next alpha of his pact be born anywhere but at his home. So what does he do he tracks down the mother and goes after he. He is not trusting her to anyone else again. Can he keep her and his child though or will the stress of seeing him again make him loose them both?

This is a great short story that teaches us to get all the facts before you make judgement. This story has some twists in it that I want to tell you all about but don't want to ruin the story for anyone. I will say it will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend this to anyone and everyone.

Melissa will do anything to protect her unborn child, even run from his father. Galen will do anything for his heir, even drag his mother home. But will a misunderstanding cause a mating to die?
The Werewolf Tycoon’s Baby is the latest story by Celia Kyle. It is different from her other works but I liked it. Melissa was fighting both herself and Galen to do what’s right. She has found herself in a world she doesn’t completely understand and that lack leads to problems. Galen is too used to getting his way and his arrogance leads to an unwillingness to bend. I wasn’t sure how Ms. Kyle would reconcile both their prides to make a love connection, but she managed. While a bit of communication would have solved so much, I could not fault Melissa for her actions; based upon her limited understanding. I loved her determination and willingness to take the hard steps necessary to protect her child. I wanted to knock Galen about for his unwillingness to see. But Ms. Kyle found a way that seemed to fit both the characters and the story. This was a quick and enjoyable read.

Melissa is heavily pregnant and working as a waitress in a diner. She got pregnant when she went on vacation to Greece and met Galen a tycoon and wolf shifter. They had a passionate affair and then he announced that she was pregnant. The alpha female of the pack told Melissa that she was only useful for bearing the alpha's heir and after the birth of the baby, Melissa would be eliminated. Melissa went on the run and is hiding from Galen.
One day Galen walks into her diner and Melissa runs out. She escapes him but he catches up to her at her apartment. They argue and the stress of the argument causes Melissa to black out. Melissa wakes up on a plane to Greece. Galen is very angry with Melissa since she abandoned him and took their child. Melissa is frightened of what the future will bring after the threats from the alpha female. Their unborn baby is very protective of mom and responds every time she gets upset but his response are very hard on Melissa. Will Melissa survive her pregnancy and what will happen after?
This is a great book much like the Greek billionaire harlequin stories but with a werewolf twist. I voluntarily received a copy of this story and this is my honest review.
