Paranormal BBW Romance (Grayslake) (Volume 1) - No Ifs

Sassy and believable, Mia takes the werebears by storm! Kyle's "No Ifs, Ands, or Bears About It" is a fantastically fun read with little to no grammatical nor spelling errors in it.

I love how Ms. Kyle mixes things up, keeps them shaking until a totally satisfying ending. Keep up the great work, Celia!

Was surprised by this book, it was a nice change, as many of the free reads I've gotten lately aren't worth the price I paid for them. The characters were well developed and interesting. It was a bit different take on a shifter romance. Since I had never read this author before I didn't know exactly what to expect. I will get the next few books in the series as I'm interested in seeing where it all goes. All in all a pleasant read

I enjoyed this book. It had suspense, action and lots of love. I appreciated that the love was not just between the H and h but between Parent and child and amongst siblings and within the clan. I already have a super long list of other books by Ms. Kyle that I can't wait to read. Well done!

Mia stands up to everybody for the orphan werebear cub who is attached to her. Ty is the sexy werebear who tries to take him away from her.Sparks fly between these two. This is a terrific story full of action,romance and hot sex. I definitely recommend it.

The irrevocable bond and devotion shared by the characters to fight for those they love is not defined by blood. Celia kept me laughing and then tearing up throughout this story with the cynical voice of this heroine. Just kept turning the pages. I look forward to continuation of the Grayslake series.

This was a fun, fast read - very entertaining. The female lead is a strong and sassy character, the male lead is true-blue alpha material, the story's good (a few twists and turns) and the secondary characters fit. Not an exactly an original plot but who cares, as the story is well told with humor and warmth.

Love stories with a nonshifter heroin with a lot of attitude and not afraid to stand up to the alpha. Mia has a lot of brains and bravado. These are part of the many things you need to bring a stubborn alpha down to his knees.

It started off good, then icky sex scenes started to bog it down. Then the story picked up, then ick again. I read a lot of shifter story and really like them, but those authors concentrate on story over sex.

I enjoyed the story line. It was somewhat predictable, as most paranormal shapeshifter books are.

There were two things that I really did not enjoy and they are the f__k word and the explicit sex ( which I thumbed through to get away from). Emotions can be written about without these two elements.

I loved this story. It had action, drama, love, and hot love encounters between two people. There was a lot of action that it kept you wanting more. The writing was great and put together. It also wasn't one the stories that ended just as it started to get really good. This is a must read.

A good start to another series by Celia Kyle. Mia is a feisty half-breed who cannot shift who finds a cute cub bear named Parker in her pantry and knows she needs to protect him. Ty is a very alpha male and the Itan of his bear clan. Parker is part of his clan and will not let her keep him. He tricks her back to his den. There is some very funny parts to the story and it also has a lot of drama. And some very Hot loving going on.

What a great book, the humor was expected (I love Celia Kyle's humor) but this story has action and suspense, plus the naughty parts! The story line was more real and dealt with sad realities of life but in a way most of us understand. And there is a happily ever after! I couldn't stop reading once I started. I would recommend this book to everyone who enjoys shifter resonances.

This was an ok read . Nothing spectacular or new. It felt a little rushed but I enjoyed it for the most part. Some of the plot felt like it wasn't fully thought out and there were some inconsistencies . The bears can heal but only if they haven't been shot more than once. It was entertaining but a bit expensive for the depth.

S to defend it. Including falling in love with the itan, ty. She eventually matres with him n rescues the were bear from his nasty.re!active. And all?s well that ends well.

Funny banter, sexy anticipation, sexy alpha male and female. Mia and Ty book is fast pace. Keeps you on edge to wander what will happen next. Loved all the characters especially the brothers. My first book by his author won't be my last.

What a great book! Love the characters and I found myself smiling through most of the read. A lot of action that is better than most because it doesn't always end with scratched up good guys and dead bad guys. I definitely dislike books that are all "fluff", luckily this one has a lot more than fluff to enjoy. I will be looking for the others in the series, most definitely!

Fantastic beginning for a new series! Celia Kyle does it again! If you are looking for intrigue, action, romance and some really hot sex this is the book for you to sink your teeth into. Can't wait to read more!

I really loved this book it was fantastic. I loved the Alpha bear (or Itan) Ty and his mate Mia the Itana was perfect for him. This book was full of romance, humor, hot hot hot mating and life threatening danger plus a great HEA. This book was so good that I HIGHLY recommend it to everyone and I will be adding it to my personal library so that I can read it over and over again.

This was an entertaining bear shifter story. I especially enjoyed the four year old cub. I wish we had gotten more of him. What we got too much of in my opinion was overly long and overly graphic descriptions of sex and fighting. I was also a bit confused about all the relations of brothers, cousins, and uncles.

I loved the Abrams brothers and Parker, I even liked Mia when she wasn't being a pain in the behind. The story was fun to read, had some exciting moments. The romantic parts were thrown in here and there and the actual act comes a chapter before the book is over, if not the last chapter (it was nicely written though). Cute read, and I'm not sorry I read it but I don't know if I'll continue the series.

This book had it all. Good vs. evil; shifters/weres; romance & action. I started this book in the morning, read it here & there throughout the day & just finished it around 11 pm est. I just couldn't put it down & needed to finish it before going to sleep. This was an excellent beginning to a new series. Thanks again Celia Kyle.

There are cute moments in a contrived plot. Author spends minimal time on character development. Think Harlequin Romance meets werebears. She tries really hard to get some sizzle in the sex scenes, though. Best moments are built around the little bear cub.

I really enjoy shifter books, especially bear shifter books. But I loved this one. It was somehow unique. The characters, plot, situation and drama were all just perfect! My only complaint is the free book offered at the end, I can't get it. ;(

I loved this book, it has everything! The chemistry between the two characters was so in sync. I loved that they didn't allow their love to overshadow issues, they let their personalities shine. I love the dominate but sweet Ty, and the innocent but stands her ground Mia. This book gave me goosebumps, I laughed and cried with the characters, the author brought them alive. It was well written!!!

Another great story from Celia Kyle. I loved all her other series so of course picked this up. Once again I have found a great read with plenty of fun, fur, sex, and a nice family to go with it. I truly enjoy the families that these stories have and how they are all so interconnected. Always have a hard time putting it down once I get started.

This book was action packed and intriguing from beginning to end. It is definitely a good read if you like books that have a bit of everything...action...love story...humor....fear....interesting....suspenseful...it has it all!!!!!!!

The author grabbed my attention from the first, I really forward to reading more about these characters. The writing is fresh and the characters are fleshed out and made believable. Has a good plot and sets you up to care about following where future books will take them.

Great storyline, writing, and I can't wait to read what happens next. It draws you in from the very beginning and keeps you reading for more!! I love the plot, twists, and turns and can't wait to see those babies!!

This book was excellent and the characters are really hot bears. Ty and Mia is was a force to be reckoned with when it came down to protecting Parker which Mia has claimed as hers. Mia fell in live with Parker when she found him in her pantry hiding from his abusive uncle. I would recommend this book to anyone.

There are some really funny scenes and good banter. The writing is very good. The steamy scenes are sexy, the fighting scenes are intense and the sad ones are tear jerkers. Goodness a lot happens in this book and so many lives are changed.

If you love bear shifters, possessive clan leaders, and want a great story to go along with it, you'll love this book. Great storyline, lovable, but strong characters, and enough sexual tension to keep you captivated until it explodes. A standalone, but also part of a series. A series I cannot wait to continue.

Enjoyed this quick read. Other reviewers have mentioned specific word passages and or saying that added fun to the book. I agree. I'm not a fan of sex scenes as I find them boring to read so skipped those pages despite what I'm sure is many hours of work on the author's part to make them exciting. No reflection on Ms. Kyle - I skip over everyone's graphic sex scenes.

This book races along at breakneck speed. Mia is half bear and finds an abused bear cub in her pantry. The scene had me laughing out loud. The snappy dialogue continues and the secondary characters make you crave the next book.
