Scarlet

Most other reviewers said this was short, but they didn't say how short. For those of you contemplating 2.99, it's about 1000 kindle pages or rather locations. I would guess that to be about 50 pages so you can inagine that not alot of development can actually come out of it. It's part of a three story series based on three sisters who are witches with the mark to someday be mates of alpha werewolves, with one exception. The kicker is werewolves, plural, since alpha wolves come in pairs so each sister ends up with two mates, not just one and the bond is secured in a very specific mating position.

I enjoyed the characters alot but the fact that these people have supernatural powers is strictly to ease the concept of the menage. They don't use, nevermind develop, their powers and most of the anxiety of the book is focused on how a woman is going to handle two men at the same time. If we had an opportunity to create a full story around the baseline of this short, I believe I would have loved it. Because it is what it is, I can't say that I got my money's worth.

Scarlet was an amazingly hot little story, and if this is the type of story that Celia Kyle writes about, I am so on board. Her writing style has a smart as flair to it, and I'm immediately sure that I want to do shots with Celia Kyle. She has a sense of humor, and an amazing imagination (for which I am now immensely grateful!)

Let's start, shall we? First we meet Scarlet, the oldest of the Wickham triplets (that means more books in the series!!). She is a firestorm of personality, and I immediately get a little girl crush on her. See, in this book if you are 30 and unmated you get to go to the Gathering, which is like a big wolfy speed-dating marathon. Lucky for the Wickham triplets, none of them are mated. Except none of them are happy about this Gathering!!! I don't see why the heck not, in their world if you bear the Mark it means you are getting mated to two Alpha males. Double the pleasure, double the fun... So when these triplets get to the Gathering, and the first thing Scarlet does is school a couple of jerky wolves, and get them kicked out, I know she is completely awesome. And so do Keller and Madden, who right away sense she is their mate and ask her to talk to them further at dinner.

Ok, I am not going to spoil this. But let me tell you... that dinner was HOT, and it wasn't because the chef was cooking on high temps. Holy heck-o-wolf, their meeting at the restaurant was erotic as sweet-baby-wolfen-hell. Seriously, if it doesn't make you sweat, then you should go to the doctor cause there is something wrong with you. And then soon after, they are supposed to go get to know eachother a little bit better... Except those jerks come back, and need to be dealt with.

Oh yeah, that means there is some awesome action in this book too, which I am a complete sucker for. And then its back to the hotter-than-a-sauna-on-fire other type of action.

This book was fantastic, and I am eagerly waiting to hear how things go for Scarlet's sisters, Gabby and Whitney. If you are into wolfy menage, and you probably are if you are like me, then this book will be a must read!!

This is a shapeshifter Menage book, the first book in the Alpha Marked series, it can be read as a stand alone, but who would want to? This is an extremely sexual book so beware. I personally am not one whom likes domination and some of the rituals portrayed here are well not personally desirable, but after reading the description of Keller and Madden, it is questionable, lol. I really enjoyed the relationship the triplet sisters have. And the way the Alpha werewolves are so opposite was very entertaining to say the least. A great short read, get ready for your toes to curl. yum.

This is a story about Scarlet Wickham, she is a 30 year old triplet. The one with the curves and all of the attitude. She is ordered to attend the Werewolves Gathering along with her sisters, she is marked and has no choice she will be mated to an Alpha pair. She is not to happy to be up rooted from her life. Until she meets her mates, then things get interesting.

Scarlet has found her Alpha pair, but soon learns they are the Ruling Alpha pair Keller and Madden. They are pleased with Scarlet, she is perfect for them, curvy and sassy. They can't not wait to mark her as their territory. But before they can complete their bond, there is a challenge to the death for Scarlet's attentions.

Great read if...you like PNR, short reads, sexy reads, MFM (as in no man on man touching), humor, insta love and an HEA.

Side Note: Gotta admit, this series started with a BANG! Fell in love immediately and couldn't get enough until the last page. Even then I was desperately wishing for more. It had everything I love in a book. Easy writing. Good pacing. A bit of surprising, but not surprising action, amazing sex, and characters that were so easy to LOVE. All of them were. And with her being HBIC it set the rest of the series up to be just as incredible.

This is one hot menage with two hot Alpha Wolves.

Scarlet is the oldest of triplet of all girls. When they were born two were marked to be mated to two wolves. So when they turn 30 they are all supposed to go to a gathering to find their mates if they haven’t found them yet. Scarlet, Gabby and Whitney go even though they don’t want to.

All I can say is this book is hot. I don’t know what I would do if I knew that I was destined to be mated to two alpha male wolves. Boy does Scarlet find two of the sexist male wolves Madden and Keller. Everything is going good on the mating until two wolves demand they want to be the leader.

This is a great book to start off a new series. I can’t wait for the other two books comes out so that I can see what happens to the other two sisters. I love how the author gave each sister different personalities. They take up for each other. I just couldn’t put my kindle down until I reached the last page. This is one book that I will be reading many times.

The menage that happens in this story is really hot and explosive. You can feel the sexual tension between all three. I couldn’t ask for a better plot than the one that is in this book. I am hoping that they find out what is going on with Whitney. So I will be watching for their stories.

I recommend this book is you love alpha wolves and a strong female to take them on. Also if you love menages.

Scarlet and her sisters have been summoned to the Gather. As reluctant as they are to go, they know the only way they will find happiness is to be mated up with a pair of werewolves. As luck would have it Scarlet finds herself instantly attracted to the current Ruling Alpha pair, Madden and Keller. The three of them can’t wait to bond with each other but first there a little matter of a challenge…to the death.

When I saw in the blurb “werewolf speed dating” I knew I had to read this book. No disappointments here -Scarlet was a fun read! Any story that has me laughing from perfect dialog one minute to panting from smoking hot scenes is my kind of story. I loved all the characters in the book but easily my favorite was Scarlett. Don’t get me wrong, who doesn’t like a couple of hot guys but her sassiness and the way she handles all the men around her had me in stitches. Let’s not forget the sex, plenty of M/F/M and oh yes…it sizzled! There is a bit of a cliffhanger in the book that I found so funny it has me itching for the next book.

If the rest of Celia Kyle’s books are half as much fun as Scarlet, I think I may have found my new favorite author. I will definitely be tell my book buddies which book they need to read next is.

After receiving her invite to the Gathering, of which she is not excited to attend, Scarlet finds out fate may have something good in store for her after all.
Scarlet is one of three Wickham triplets. Two of which were born with special birthmarks delineating their future. A future, that will be tied to not, one but two, Alpha wolves. Finding out her sister with no birthmark is also required to attend is a big reason for her to go. Scarlet intends to confront the council and find out why they are so cruel to invite her knowing she will not end up mated.
When the triplets arrive things really heat up. Scarlet has found her Alphas in Keller Aaron and Madden Harris, but another pair has challenged them for her; a challenge, to the death. Keller and Madden are not just Alphas, they are something more. Will Scarlet get her happy ending or will her dreams die on the battlefield?
Celia Kyle’s first in the Alpha Marked series was great! Scarlet is a fabulous start to a very interesting series. Scarlet is my kind of heroine, witty, smart and no nonsense kind of girl. She is the protector of her sisters which I love too. Ms. Kyle is one of my go to authors as she writes a phenomenal heroine every time. This book has it all packed into a small package, action, humor, sex, steamy hot alpha sex. My only complaint with this book is it is far too short. Can’t wait to start on the next two!

Of the three books of the Alpha Marked series, this one is the best, even if it feel more like a short story than a full book (about 90 to 100 pages long). The manuscript sets up the Gathering location and the family Wickham. Characters are more developed in this book than the rest of the series. The males in this book are unique and I could easily tell the difference between them. The fight scene between the wolves is very good. Scarlet is sensible and you can see why the Mark decided the Alphas needed her.

(Unfortunately in the later two books her personality is totally rewritten and the strong Alpha Madden is used mainly for dumb jock laughs.- I think the book, Scarlet, would have gotten a four-star review if I hadn't kept reading the series.)

This book had a very interesting storyline and concept. When I read the synopsis I was really intrigued. the idea of "werewolf speed dating" had me sold within minutes.

Although, it was really short, this book had a very well written plot, with a certain depth to the story and it's characters. Right off the bat, you attention gets caught by Scarlet and her personality, she is this feisty little thing, and she and her sisters have just received a requested invitation (demanding) that they attend 'The Gathering', an event, where single 'marked' females find their destined Alpha pairs.

The stroy kicks off right after Scarlet meets her Alpha pairs, before they even finish the date they are on, to get to know each other, they Alphas Keller and Madden get challenged for the rights to their mate (Scarlet) and their ranks as Ruling Alphas.

This book is filled with things happening, there is not moment in this book where you think to yourself 'this is dull' or when you start skimping the pages, waiting for something to happen. No, this book is definitely not boring, besides the funny, and sexy characters, this book had a certain flare to it. I really liked it, and definitely would read more books by this author, I am definitely going to stalk her for awhile now :)

Go pickt it up, if you want a really good book, for a light and quick read.

Alpha Marked: Scarlet is the first in a trilogy about 3 sisters who have been marked since birth to be mated to two alpha werewolves. Summoned to a "Gathering" where the alpha's gather to look for their mate Scarlet and her sisters will make their appearance and hope for the best.

Celia Kyle managed to pack quite a story into the 80 some odd pages of this book. With a feisty heroine and a whole ball room full of sexy alpha werewolves the story heats up pretty quick. We get a confrontation (read fight to the death) between wolves and then we get hot and heavy mating sex with our human female and two hotter than hell alpha male werewolves.

With this being a M/F/M menage we do have double penetration hence the 4 flames heat rating. This is a great quick read perfect for a weekend afternoon or a wait while you get your pedicure.

Kyle gives you hunks, actions & hot sex....rolled into a shifter! Who could ask for anything more? ME! I got this as part of a 10 story bundle, I only wish it had been a 3 book KYLE bundle w/the Gabriella & Whitney stories as part of the pack! Oh well, if you're a fan of Kyle already... you need me to say no more; if not.... just try this one book about a human w/ a special mark who's gone to a "social" to find her mates. Yep, that's right... this mark entitles you to not one, but two hunky Alphas. Short story, moves quickly but heats up the pages.

I think the author probably had all her friends and family post good reviews on the store for her book Scarlet. And good for her, it's smart marketing. I was intrigued by the story and interested in a new author but I'm careful with my book budget and always read reviews. I feel mislead by the reviews of this book. This is my first and probably only book by Celia Kyle. The story is too short at 68 pages, very rushed so I was never emotionally engaged in the story and not hot. So to summarize... Superficial, unengaging, flat.

Celia creates the absolute best sasy female characters and her males are everthing you would want them to be! The author has a magic touch when it comes to her turn of a phrase and the imagery it produces. She can make you snicker while panting. There's not a story of hers that isn't a "must read ". Another great story.

Kindle Unlimited standalone wolf shifter book. She's 30 and has to come to the claiming to see if her mates are there. She's put it off and doesn't have a choice anymore. When she finds 2 hot shifters, she cannot believe her luck. They want her but haven't told her the truth about who they are.

Quick, steamy, exciting and fun read. Scarlet and her sisters are being forced to attend a mating ceremony for wolves since they have mark which designates them as mates to Alpha wolves which will be a pair. Scarlet is a spit fire and doesn't like that she is being force into this until she meets her mates. Sparks fly and you get to enjoy the ride. Curious to see what happens for her sisters, hopefully they each get their own book.

Exciting!! Ms. Kyle, I loved this book!!! Will be reading the next one soon!! As usual your imagination makes for great books! I was entertained from the very first page! Everyone who loves paranormal realities will be clamouring to buy this series! Thank you, I really enjoyed this book!!!

I really enjoyed this book. Love the different take on shifter and their destined mates. Scarlet didn't upset me like most female characters do. She's strong and possessive like her mates. Her mates were everything I expected from alphas...possessive, and dominant. Moving on to book 2.

Though I feel bad for all the Marked women, Scarlet shows how to take a bad situation and turn it into hot sweaty sex!! She really did deserve who she got, even though she didn't think she was enough. Can't wait to read Gabby's and Whitney's stories.
