Books 4 -6 (The Harry Starke Series Boxed Set Book 2)

These are very entertaining books. Harry Starke is a likable character with a little bit of an edge. Just enough to be appealing. Plotting of the books is coherent and believable. Overall, these books are winners!

Stories are generally ok and the characters grow on you. I just wish the editing was a bit stronger. Confusing "principle" and "principal" and "tic" and "tick", are evidence of weak or no editing and perhaps a rush to get the book out the door.

I enjoy reading the Harry Starke series. Easy fun reading, but I am not not sure a proof reader has ever read them or maybe the proof reader is illiterate. There are many errors in every book.I have read 1-9 and it is the same in every book.

Bought this series after thoroughly enjoying books 1 - 3, no disappointments in this set! Very difficult to put down. And the characters :) Found out through a friend that 7 - 9 were out here and just bought them. My friend, who I recommended this author to, is now a Harry Starke fan also. As far as I am concerned, you can't go wrong with this series, try it out!

The stories are a good read, but the editing and or proof reading need some major upgrades. There are so many words that are missing it makes it difficult to follow the storyline in some cases. Many times I had to re-read a sentence to understand what was meant, all because of a word being totally left out. These are not just some word dropped off the end. Many are in the middle of a sentence. For this reason I will not be purchasing any more Blair Howard books. It's too bad as I do like his style and thinking.
