The women I'm teaching are really enjoying this practical teaching by women for women. I would highly recommend it for any group of women who want to experience real women's stories and be transformed by their stories.

Any woman, or group of women interested in a bible study would do well to start with this one. Each stand-alone chapter makes this a very flexible study, The study is based on watching a DVD and the workbook/study guide asks thought provoking questions that really encourage meaningful discussion. Even on its own, the study guide works well to introduce different women of the bible and use their stories to examine different aspects of their faith.

This book helps me see the strengths, vulnerabilties, discipline, and obedience of some great women of the Bible, women that went through the same trials but how they as women of God handled these trials led by God through God for God.

This works perfect for our women's Bible study. Really like the content and angle of the lesson theme. With our busy schedules, everyone is not able to make it every week. So no one has to feel like they are behind or lost if they miss a week or two, because each week is its own unique study. The videos are informative, personalized, and well done. And the number of study questions are plenty for the time we have.

I enjoyed studying the women in this study with our study group. I was a little disappointed with the videos. Some were better then others, but I didn't like how some of they speakers presented the women they were talking about. I don't want to be lectured and for that I was not happy with. As a leader you have to know the woman of that week and done some studying on her before hand. Some of the questions were a little shallow - so wasn't thrilled. We did have lots of discussion which was amazing but as a leader you have to be able to know how to get the discussion going. All in all we still had a great study.
