I really liked this book - it was fresh and funny. Especially the view of Reid. Usually I don't feel that the male characters storytelling are even close to real, but this time I was OK with it. I like that not everything is black and white, how Emma can make her own decision..
I recommend this book and I am looking forward for another Tammara Webber books...

Between the Lines is def. one that stays with you. I could not put it down, I had to read it from start to finish. Needless to say, I LOVED IT!!!! If you are a hopeless romantic and love happy endings as well as having the story continue you will not be dissappointed! I cannot wait for the sequel! This is a beautifully written story at a hugely bargained price...BUY IT!!!! ;)

I was browsing the store looking for examples of book blurbs (research for my own novel) when I stumbled across the description of BETWEEN THE LINES. It was only $.99 so I thought "what the hell" and downloaded it even though I have a backlog of "to be read" on my iPad that defies description. I took a break from editing and read the first chapter. Big mistake. I could NOT put this book down. I stayed up all night reading, even though I'm working on a deadline.

At first, I assumed this book was a self-published effort (because of the price) and expected to find all sorts of typos, rambling storylines, and plot holes. Shame on me for my blind prejudice (especially since I'm an indie author, myself). If there were typos, I was too engrossed to notice. The story is well paced and believable. The characters are compelling and I empathized with all of them, even Reid ... a selfish, egotistical kid whose pain still tugs at my heart after finishing the book.

There is a fair amount of strong language, drinking and sexual situations but I have no problem recommending this story as an honest young adult novel. I do, however, feel compelled to warn parents of middle grade kids to read it before deciding if it's appropriate for their children.

Ms. Webber's style and voice remind me of Sarah Dessen and Judy Blume (in a good way). I can't wait to read the sequel and would gladly pay a higher price. The $.99 price point is too low for a work of this quality and entertainment value.

I was totally enmeshed with this book and dropped my jaw to the ground at the ending. Wait?!?! What just happened? However, I loved the ending and it fit perfectly....now if only everyone had their fairy tale ending.

I must say that when I first started reading this book, I thought it was going to be a little juvenile. But after getting through the first couple chapters, I realized I really liked it. I thought it was very good for the writer to let us into each characters perspectives. Plus, even though there are two more parts to this book, it doesn't leave you hanging out in left field too much, just enough to want to read the next part.

Great older teen read/young adult read. Liked that it focussed on the LA industry of acting. It had interesting characters full of depth. Good suspense building for the love scenes. I bought the second and third books in the series as well because the story line continues.

With all the good reviews I was actually excited about this book..even more so that it was a series.
Everything happened way too quickly. The characters weren't too believable. I wouldn't recommend
reading this book unless your easily intrigued.

I loved this start of the series, and unbelievably, I loved book 2 and 3 just as much or maybe even more because I already knew the characters. Tammara Webber is a GREAT author. I'm definitely a fan and so is my teenage daughter.

I thought this book was going to be relatively good. Not only did the narrative drag, but the characters were unrealistic and acted ridiculous at times. I couldn't even get through it. Very little happens, yet the pages go on and on and on. I didn't really like any of the characters and Emma's and Reid's relationship was alittle contrived.
