I am writing this review after rereading these books and the very first review. The author writes amazing characters that I can relate too and dreamy men I long for. She sucks you in on the first page and you can't put it down until the last page. Just read this book

I thoroughly enjoyed the first outing of Nava (the very unlikeable!) and was looking forward to seeing what direction Deborah would go in the second book. I was not disappointed at all.
Nava is trying hard to find her feet in the world of the demon-hunting previously all male brotherhood while looking for a way to help her brother Ari and keep her best friend a secret from said brotherhood. Her friends with benefits relationship with Rohan is tested by the mission, the arrival of Rohan's childhood friend and previous love and by Nava's own insecurities and stubbornness and her hate/hate relationship with Drio evolves into a kind of acceptance of each other, which was good to see.
I can't wait to read the third instalment to find out what happens next.
I received an ARC from the author but decided to voluntarily review this and the opinions are my own.

Fabulous! So much better than the first book. Her first assignment is to see if a celebrity mogul is a demon and what kind has all sorta of obstacles thrown in her way. Not least being her lover's first love. Add in that she is trying to get information on the ritual that will make her brother a full demon hunter. Will she succeed or will she fail? She is even more sassy, gutsy, loud-mouthed and cocky in this book. The other characters are brilliantly portrayed in full multilayered colour whilst the plot has you lurching from one situation to another. A really terrific ride.

Such a great second book. The story continues, and not in the direction I expected! Nava continues to be fierce, tough, and hilarious. The story is just the right mixture of magic, danger, and regular human-style romantic tension and I love the complexities of the relationships, the characters, and the storyline. Absolutely cannot wait to read the next book in the series!! Such a well-written, hilarious, exciting series. Cannot put these books down.
