'A Child Called It'; 'The Lost Boy'; ' A Man Named Dave'

My grandson asked for his book after reading A Child Called It and the Lost Boy. I purchased these books for him but we have all read them. It really makes you wonder how any human can treat another human especially a child so bad and how that abused child can come out of it with a positive attitude and become a loving father. It's a series that is well worth the reading and we admire Dave Pelzer for sharing his story.

This book is well written and I would recommend it to any teachers and students for insight into child abuse and how someone can make their life matter by not continuing the cycle of abuse. I also recommend A Child Called It by the same author.

Love this book already read it once before purchase but had to add to my collection. Which was nonexistent before his trilogy. I read it when I was a teen and never forgot it. My childhood sucked but was no where near his. One strong person to overcome his obstacles in life.

Thanks the store for having Dave Pelzer's books. These are great books, read them all again and again and passed them on to my grandchildren. Over the years my books were misplaced. Could not find them in book stores, I thought I had lost them forever but found all of them on the store.

This story not only touched my heart and mind but also my soul. This man called Dave is a story about forgiveness and the strength of the human spirit. May God continue to bless this man named Dave. Thanks for sharing your story with us.

I would recommend the book to anyone who is interested in trying to understand the effects child abuse has on a child and all those who are involved with a child. This includes even the neighbors, teachers, and media. Ignoring never helps, just makes things worse. No one should ever be called IT.
