A Thriller (A Mitch Rapp Novel Book 8) - Protect and Defend

Vince Flynn did a great job in writing the series of thirteen Mitch Rapp books. All of them were page turning non stop readings. This is the best series of books about a single character I have ever read. It is too bad there will only be thirteen books.

Vince Flynn has written another book that you can't wait to finish. Mitch Rapp once again needs to take on some pretty unsavory characters and does so. Irene Kennedy, his main supporter and CIA Director, is taken hostage and the need for Mitch to quickly take action and get results is never more urgent. Well written and if you have read other Vince Flynn books with MItch Rapp you will want to get to the end of the book quickly.

Trying to read all these Mitch Rapp series in order. This one did not disappoint, especially in these current days of predictable middle east troubles. I just wish Mitch Rapp were a real person doing what he does best. I just roll from one of these on to the other. Brain/imagination candy pure and simple.

Great book. So eerie that it mirrors what is happening now. Flynn was so incredible insightful and it is so sad that he is not here to continue writing these very entertaining books that should be an eye opener to americans.

Anybody that is a Vince Flynn fan will love protect and defend. Definitely one of his best. The indestructible Mitch rapp is on the rampage as only he can. If you like stories about fighting terrorism buy this. You will love this.the story moves at a cracking pace with some great characters.If I have one complaint about Flynn its that he finishes his books very quickly.however it can't be that bad as i have now read all the Mitch rapp books.Great story,great charactersand Flynn puts the reader right into the action. Buy this book. You won't be sorry.

Really ? It just keeps getting better. Mitch Rapp, thank goodness for your continual defeat of the "bad guys". I do not like anyone trying to hurt the United States or my CIA peeps. So, I recommend this series of books.. let's go get the terrorists , Mitch..

Another typical Vince Flynn novel. Action, suspense, fast moving. Very enjoyable reading. I highly recommend this book. I have read most of the Mitch Rapp stories and am looking forward to reading the few remaining.

I thought that the story was slow moving at first until the story line begin to develop with intensity. I've read all but two of Vince Flynn's Mitch Rapp series and I love the way he writes Rapp as this rebel who takes care of business in the real world without politics getting in his way. This story really brought to life in Iran, it's allies and the U.S.'s relationship with the terriorist country and especially Mitch Rapp who lives in the real world. Great reading and lots of informative actual facts.

Once again, Vince Flynn has created a masterpiece. Fast-paced, action-packed story that you cannot put down. I am always amazed at the knowledge one acquires when reading a Vince Flynn novel. One wonders what is next for the modern-day action hero, Mitch Rapp. Might he be getting a protege sometime soon? Another Mitch Rapp in training? He's not getting any younger!!!! If you want to be thoroughly entertained while learning a great deal about the Middle East and it's dark ages mentality, this novel is for you. Actually, all of Vince Flynn's novels become addictive!

Mitch Rapp is Gerard Butler....he should star in this when the movie gets made. After reading this in two sittings, I immediately checked and ordered the first, chronologically, and am almost finished. These are books you cannot put down easily.

The Vince Flynn "Mitch Rapp" series of 13 books is awesome. Well-told stories, by a great author. Thrills, danger, and a lead character that keeps you coming back for more. Start with Book #1..and go thru all #13.

Could not put the book down.....finished it in two days....kept me sitting at the tip of my chair, anticipating Mitch Rapp's next move.

Another great book in the Mitch Rapp series by Vince Flynn. I would highly recommend the book to any one interested in action that makes you wonder if some of it is real and how much really is fiction. Very well done. Fantastic writer.

Let us get one thing straight, this isn't polittically correct by a long shot. It is thriller. Rapp is like my title but more bloodier. The story is fast and action packed. You have to know the other books to understand Rapp's motivation for this book. I can't help but wonder what will happen when we run out of Arabs to hate, what will Flynn do then? It boils down to this, if you liked the other books and you like the character of Rapp, then you will love this book. I wonder if women read this series? Surely not.

These Vince Flynn books are great. Holds your attention from beginning to end. Language and violence warning for those that are concerned about those type things. If it were made into a movie it would definitely be a hard PG-13 or soft R.
