anyone who loves a love story with very little sex, this book is for you.
It's not just romance it's a funny to. You never know what silly thing that is
going to happen next.
I couldn't put it down.

This was really good, lots of interaction between the main characters, it was funny, witty, and surprisingly good for the last book in the trilogy. Although not as good as the first two in the series. Some of Angelina’s behaviour and words were a bit cringey. You think, really? What actual person says/does that? It makes her look a tad psychotic with the unnecessary violence. I’d like to see a mini two book series on the Nic’s two other brothers. They seemed pretty fun.

I'll start off saying that "The Magnus Pack" wasn't my favorite series, I continued it cause of the price.

I have never been so disappointed with a female lead ever. Her behavior was atrocious..... meeting every person and situation with pure hatred, and violence. If someone was nice to her.... she was a total bitch in return. There was nothing redeeming about her. When she wasn't being a crappy to people, she was being materialistic, shallow. At some point in the book, she made a comment that "she knew she had met some of the people at a party. BUT, they weren't interesting enough to remember their names" (friends of her supposed best friend). Not to mention the plot never really moved for me. I was pretty much bored through the whole thing, and the sex scenes weren't anything to write home about.

So, in the words of our really bad female lead.... This was so NOT interesting enough to want to remember, I can't wait to forget this book, and maybe the whole series. The only reason I finished it was, I didn't have anything else to do while laying in bed with the flu.

Why you should treat yourself to a Shelly Laurenston para-normal novel – (beginning with the 1st in the series):
Character Development:
The author does such an unbelievable job of blending the animal behavior in so well with the human side thus creating characters that are so realistic for a paranormal story that it is so easy to suspend belief and actually see the characters in your mind. The wolf shifters behave like wolves and the feline shifters do not act like lap cats. The attitudes of the animal side are so well incorporated in the characters to make them real to the reader and cause a laughing spell. The characters are so well portrayed that a mental picture is easily established for the reader. You come to know the characters and can’t help but be not only fascinated by them but also care about them.

Humor:
The humor can be considered rude, crude, sarcastic and totally believable for the characters. It is so realistic that you can imagine yourself saying the same thing in the same situation. The interactions between the determined Alpha Males and the Strong Willed Females are some of the funniest moments in the novels that I have ever read. The attitudes of the animal side are so well incorporated in the characters to make them real to the reader and cause a laughing spell. (Warning, do not start reading any of these books in public if you don't want people staring at you when you start giggling uncontrollably. I am a grown woman - I never giggled - until I started reading this series.)

Alpha Males:
Strong, caring, not perfect Alpha Males that when they set their minds to making a certain female his – has no problem being as sneaky as a feline or as determined as a wolf. Each novel involves a different Alpha who comes across that particular female that just happens to make him want to roar or howl to let everyone know that she is his and his only, if he can only get that suborn female to acknowledge it.

Strong Female Characters:
In the animal world, the female of the breed is often more dangerous than the male and/or capable of taking care of themselves and not waiting to be "rescued". This means that the females in any of Laurenston’s novels are strong, sarcastic and are fighters whether shifter or human. They do not suffer fools or weaklings gladly or at all. It takes a strong Alpha male to even get their attention but he had better not try any sh*t on them or they’ll take his a** down a notch.

Originality and Creativity:
Out of this world! The only way to describe it is to tell you what it is not:
No fated mating – each couple has their own unique reason as why they find themselves attracted to each other – just as in the real world.
None of the same plot line just with a different couple – each novel has a unique plot line – no repeats or rehash.
No cardboard cutouts for characters. Every character has his or hers unique personality – again, just like in the real world.
This still does not touch on how creative the writing is – there are just no words to really describe it.

World Building:
The region, the dialect, the habits, quirks for that particular area are all so well incorporated into the novel that the reader cannot help but be transported, only if it is in the mind, to that place and time.

Editing Problems:
Simply put – there are none.

WARNINGS:
The series must be read in order because the world building is continued from one novel into the next. Also, the previous characters are continued into the next novel as part of the world building which creates a unique world that you are able to visit whenever you get a chance to escape from this reality.
If you like your romance to be sweet with the female protagonist waiting for her "Knight in shining armor" to save her - this novel is not for you.
If you are offended by explicit sex scenes and profanity - again, this novel is not for you.
If you want your hero or male protagonist to be the strong but sensitive type - this novel is not one you will enjoy.
If you do not like or get sarcastic humor - then skip this series.

This is a very long review but please keep reading.
If you look at all my reviews you will see that the first couple pages are all 5* reviews for Shelly Laurenston/ G A Aiken novels as well as a few other authors (after that you can see the good, bad and real ugly). That is because I have done the authors an injustice and am finally catching up on what I should have done a long time ago. I usually do not review all the books in a series unless or until they start to go downhill. I figure that once you are hooked on a series it does not matter what anyone says – you’ll make up your own mind to either stay or quit the series. I did not think that maybe my reviews might actually help on newer books in the series – attract attention from readers who were not even aware of the wonderful writings of the authors. That is why you will see this same review on most of the novels. I actually did an injustice to one of the few writers who actually help me get through this past year events because I just did not want to take the time to write a review.

Last summer, I had several life altering events that happened to me – not the good type either. The events, the constant problems that had to be resolved after, the decisions that had to be made were all devastating emotionally, physically and financially. (The old saying that trouble or bad things come in threes is a lie – it can be multiples of that.) It was a time when I wasn’t taking a day at a time – I was taking it minute by minute – just to get through the next decision – face the next problem. Late one night when once again sleep eluded me, I picked up my e-reader and scanned my books to see if I could distract myself with anything. My eyes fell on my section of Shelly Laurenston novels. I started with one series and then went on to the next series and then the next series that she writes. Just for a little while during that period I could escape from all the pain, troubles and sorrows that I was experiencing. While I couldn’t laugh – they did make me smile and forget for just a little while everything else. While I have read other author’s novels over the past year, it has been Shelly Laurenston/G A Aiken’s series that I have read over and over again to escape to a more pleasant place – to smile again. And for that, Shelly Laurenston deserves a 5* review on every one of her books that I have practically memorized over the past year.

While I reread all of the novel in all of the series - several times each, I did keep going back to this one and THE MANE ATTRACTION - both really should be a 10*. They have come to be my "go to" books when things again get really tough and I need a laugh to keep me going.

HERE KITTY, KITTY! is the Magnus Pack series finale and, boy, was it a wild ride! It features Sara’s sassy Latina friend and the sweet talkin’ hillbilly tiger she fell in love with. While I was a mite let down by GO FETCH!, Angelina’s story more than makes up for the previous books frustrating heroine.

Kidnapped by Nik Vorislav’s idiot brothers after a hyena showdown in her shifter run Tennessee town. Angelina decides its safer for everyone if she takes one for the team and stays with the handsome hillbilly tigers when she learns sending the Calvary equals taking protection away from Miki. (See, Miki, this is how you be an awesome kick A heroine and NOT a selfish A-hole heroine who thinks she’s bad A.) It has nothing to do with her surprising attraction the panty-melting, sweet talking, Siberian hillbilly. Definitely not.

Nik Vorislav has completely sworn off human women. They’re way too clingy for the happily unmated tiger… until he meets the one human who wants nothing from him. Nik was my favorite type of alpha male. Undeniably sexy, somewhat goofy, and determined to keep his woman. Even if he—god forbid—turns into his father. Oh did I mention he also has the most hilarious daddy issues? Seriously. This is one instant where daddy issues actually add to the charm.

But my all-time favorite characters? Nik’s brothers!

"Bannik and Aleksei glanced at each other. Apart, they were two of the brightest men he knew. But together… Lord, they could be stupid."

He is so not exaggerating! Thankfully, what the Vorislav brother lack in brains, they make up in brawn and cuteness. That counts for something, right?

HERE KITTY, KITTY was a wonderful end to the Magnus Pack series and yet I still need more. I want more Magnus Pack HEAs and most importantly, the Vorislav brothers need their own happily-ever-afters! I know it’s a long shot that Laurenston would ever return to the series, but a girl can dream.

The last full-length book in the Magnus Pack series is about Angelina. You would think she’s the sanest of the three but that is so not the case. I think she may be worse than the other two. She looks so girly and put together, but she’ll smile as she breaks someone’s face with a toilet lid. (yes, this happens).

She’s the one who tries to keep everyone happy and sane, or at least on an even keel. If that means she has to knock some heads together to do it, that’s okay too. Once you get to know her though, you realize under that perfectly dressed and made up exterior is the soul of a redneck woman. She can cuss like a marine sergeant and fights as dirty as she possibly can, utilizing every tool at her disposal, whether it’s a folding chair or a baseball bat. She’s creative that way. She doesn’t really have a lot of respect for men in general thinking there’s not any worth the effort out there, so why in God’s name would she even want to fall in love.

Nik is just an alpha tiger going through life as happy as can be. He’s rich, he’s hot, and he’s got lots of land with dinner on the hoof just waiting for him to chase it down. Tiger’s don’t settle down with anyone, and procreation seems like more of a transaction than anything else (although they do take care of their children and make sure they know they are loved). Unfortunately, his Dad is a freak who only has eyes for one woman, his mother. There is no way Nik would ever settle for one woman. Ever. Well, until Angelina assaults him.

These two fell into insta-lust the first time they ran into each other in an airport. Then they spent an inordinate amount of time fighting it, which was okay because this book is hilarious and their chemistry was so combustible even their arguing was hot. They were both trying to be in control of feelings that were uncontrollable and this worked for me in all sorts of ways because they weren’t in control at all.

Nik’s family is definitely a freak show worthy of a whole lot of laughs. In fact, I really wish there were books on all of them. With some unexpected lion shifters wanting a truce plus those damned Hyenas causing issues this book kept me on my toes. The icing on the cake was it was scorching hot. There were times I swear I saw smoke wafting out of my iPad’s ports.

I hated saying goodbye to Here Kitty, Kitty because it’s hilarious, but SL did give it an epilogue worthy of the series greatness. It’s good that her Pride series is set in this world because every time the Magnus pack is mentioned I find myself fangirling and doing little twirls.

Here Kitty, Kitty was a laugh-filled, action-packed treasure of a book… plus it was hotter than hell. I loved every word of it.

This series is fantastically funny! The characters are great, with a nest of crazy women who are psychotic sister/friends that make you wish you were included in their family too. This part of the story involves Angie, who was not as likeable as the Miki or Sara in the previous books, but is just perfect in her own. When attacked by hyena's, she instead gets kind of kidnapped and sort of held against her will, but then her crazy comes out and the action just keeps a speeding train momentum. I loved every word in this whole series! You should grab it, read it, and lose sleep like I did, because you won't be able to put it down!

Thanks to Tantor Media for sending me this audio in exchange for an honest review. This is book 3 in the Magnus Pack Series. I highly suggest that you read all of these books in order. True to form, book 3 began where book 2 left off. This reader was ecstatic be thrown back into this world.

Finding Angie’s purse, some blood, and some hyena shifters outside of her shop in Texas, Angie’s friends thought that she was dead. Angelina Santiago wakes up and is in North Carolina with a bunch of hillbillies thanks to Nick Vorislav’s brothers who helped her battle a hyena tracker. The Vorislav brothers along with Nik, did not realize what a bad ass that Angie could be and could easily take care of her own. Nik loved his slow paced life until Angie disrupted his life by shooting up his walls.

All of my reviews can be found here: readingaroundthegenres.com

Zach, Sara, Conal, and their pack are protecting Miki so Angie decided to stay in North Carolina for a few days. Given Angie’s love of fashion, she easily met several of the “hillbilly women”. Angie quickly became friends with the Vorislav family but really was only interested in Nik.

And then there was Nik who she remembered from the airport in “Go Fetch”. Staying at Nik’s house proved to be a challenge for both Nik and Angie. Angie was used to being with shifters thanks to her friends. However, she was not quite prepared to be around cats, especially Nik. There was quite a bit more sex in this installment, and the chemistry between Nik and Angie was hot.

Sara, Miki, and Angie were more like sisters than best friends. I loved the banter between the three. The narrator was exceptional in defining all of the different characters, especially Nik and Angie. I loved how the narrator defined Nik and his southern drawl. The three best friends were also fun to listen to and really brought the best friends to life. I loved Nik and his wild cat protectiveness over an independent woman who just needs to be loved.

Overall Enjoyment: 4

Well I fell in love with the Mangus Pack series when I read about Sara and her dog in Pack Challenge. Anyone who has those crazy bitches as friends deserves my full attention. After I left Sara's story I went in search of Miki's book, Go Fetch, and Angelina's book. I only found Angelina's book, Here Kitty, Kitty.I read it and fell in lust all over again. If I could pick my BFFs these women would be them.

So I read it. Loved it. Bitches were still cray-cray, but they introduced me to some more women shifters that were even more to my twisted liking.Oh yeah! Shelly also added a bunch of new hotties guys with some OCD issues. I never really understood those kind of quirks. However, having lived with one with those tendencies, my DH, I can understand the immense pleasure if gives to screw up there carefully laid plans. *insert evil laugh here* And reading about the mayhem that Angelina and her friends unleash makes me feel normal.

Yes, I know they are fictional. Shape-shifters don't exist. But i doesn't mean that I can't read and pretend they are my friends because we all do it. We think, "What Would blah blah do?", I know I think what would Sara do. Then I realize I don't want to go to jail more mass murder. So I tone it down just a bit. Just a little.

I enjoyed this book and the two other immensely. I was also happy to find that Laurenston continued to write more in this crazy world she built.

I really enjoyed everything about this book. The dynamic between the leads is so much fun, there is a lot of humor, and it is as sexy as it is funny. There were quite a few laugh-out-loud moments for me in this title.

I especially like the side characters; there is a really dynamic and interesting cast in this book.

Definitely meant for mature audiences only.

Totally recommend for those who enjoy good shifter romance that actually has a plot and isn't entirely just about the sex. (Though sex is definitely plentiful.)

I didn't realize that this series came before Ms. Laurenston's Pride series. I think had I read it first, I may have enjoyed it more, but it really lacked some of the humor that I found in her new series. Of the three books I like this one the best, but I didn't like Angie's character much at first at all. I just could not relate to her annoying need to charge unlimited funds to Nik's credit card. But by the end, things come about that make me like her a little more. Nik on the other hand is pretty amazing. He's the reason I gave this book four stars. The plots are not as good as her Pride series - the storylines are pretty formulaic between the three books.

I absolutely loved HERE KITTY, KITTY! This is one of the most enjoyable paranormal erotic romances I have read in awhile. I think part of that is due to the characters. Angie is wild; foul-mouthed, funny, strong, crazy and just a terrifically fun lead character. Nik is charming; good-humored, laid-back, sexy, exasperated and an absolute opposite to Angie. The dynamics between Angie and her friends are a hoot! All three of the friends are crazy and vivid characters that you will enjoy reading about. Nik's family dynamics are just as wild, in a laid-back redneck fashion. And when Angie's friends and Nik's family get together, let me just say 'fireworks!' The plot is awesome, original and will have you turning the pages just to find out what happens next, both in regards to the background story and the romance. I will caution readers that the story contains explicit sex, graphic language and strong violence that would not be appropriate for readers under seventeen. Ms. Laurenston has a winner here and I will be hunting for more of this author's work!

This was the final book of the Magnus Pack trilliogy. It is necessary to read these books in order to understand the events that are taking place. The main story begins with Sara fighting a pack war that was started by her mother, and finding love in the Magnus Pack. The war comes to a head and climaxes in Here Kitty, Kitty as Angelina falls for a tiger shifter. I have enjoyed the characters through out this series. The women Sara, Miki, and Angelina are truly psychotic and crazy. They grew up together and have been best friends for life. They are flawed, funny and annoying (just like a crazy relative) but endearing. Thank goodness the men in this series have been more on the rational, calm side. This series is a fun light read involving wolf packs, lion prides, tigers and more interacting, fighting wars and finding love.

I like the way Shelly Laurenston writes love scenes. She has the talent to make me sweat from the heat coming off the pages. The third Magnus Pack book, "Here Kitty, Kitty", is no different. My problem with this one is the heroine...I really, really disliked her.

Angelina doesn't take crap from anybody; she hands it out instead. She's a mixed-descent American with attitude and the ability to kick butt...even when going up against non-humans. As the only full human left in her triad of friends, she's become something of a target for the hyenas looking to hurt the pack. So when she goes down in a fight and wakes up somewhere strange, she's only a little surprised to discover she's not in the 'lion's den'...this den is for tigers only!

Nikolai knew he should never have shown interest in the mouthy broad from the airport. Of course, he never thought his brothers would kidnap her and bring her to his house either. He's knows she'll be trouble, and within 5 minutes of waking up she's knee'd him and cracked a toilet tank lid over his head...guess he was right about the trouble part. So if she's so much trouble, why is he so hot for her?

Smoking hot sex alert. But also, nasty, witchy, heroine alert. She seemed to be nasty just because...and that put my back up (hey! at least I didn't say 'put my fur up', or 'rubbed me the wrong way') from the first. Her interactions were hostile to just about everyone in the book, including her friends! This was something I never got over. And Nikolai, hot as he was, wasn't a very intriguing hero for me either. For someone with animal instincts, it sure took him a long time to recognize his feelings for Angelina. He spent most of his time moaning about his family...just not very Alpha for me.

So even though I disliked the heroine, and the hero too to a certain extent, I still gave this sucker three stars for the smoking hot sex. Because...it's my review and I can!

I love Shelly Laurenston's books and first found out about these characters in the book - Go Fetch(book had both of the stories of her 2 best friends-Sara and Miki).

Reading this book felt like catching up with the girls and seeing Angelina get a man of her own. I will admit that the 1st time I read the book I was not feeling the attitude of Angelina. She did not come off like this(total Hard Ass and evil) in Go Fetch. It took me some time to warm up to her and her tiger love Nik.

I went back and read it again and enjoyed everyone's interaction more this time around. His family is a blast and I love the friendship between Sara,Angelina, and Miki. The bonus for me was seeing them all mature while being in love with their men. The bedroom action is HOT and does not disappoint. This book will have you laughing out loud.

I really like the three psycho, female characters in this series, the interaction between them is just so frighteningly, hilarious. The main focus of this book is Angie's kidnapping, her evolving relationship with Nick and the importance of family. I was satisfied with the pace of their relationship; Angie is defiantly her own person and doesn't do anything she doesn't want to. I loved how well Angie got on with Nick's close nit family, including his Grandma and how Nick understood Angie's relationship with her two best friends 'the crazy women'.
Who knew a toilet could be used as a weapon?

The books written by Ms. Laurenston are such good reads you have to own every one of them! This includes the series she wrote as G.A.Atkin, dragon shifters no less. Here Kitty Kitty makes you laugh and cheer on the heros and heroines of the story. It draws you in as the story unfolds. I strongly advise getting all her books, they can be read stand alone but why when you get to follow the loves, danger, mysteries, and fun of the characters lives. You won't regret it!
