THis book is a perfect ending to the series. Wrapped everything up in a neat little package. Debbie McComber always brings you right into the story and you feel like you know the characters of her books personally.

There's nothing like a small down filled with people who are about each other, take care of each other. Promise, Texas is one such town.

This book is well written and so easy to read. It's one of those books you can easily enjoy. It's one that you can pick up again later.

Thank you, Debbie, for sharing your writing with the world! I have picked up a few of your books and am sure I'll add to my collection.

Everyone out there: treat yourself to a copy of this book today! You'll be SO happy you did!

Once again Debbie Macomber has written a story that has provided the reader with an enjoyable read, that only her style can provide. Her manner of spinning a tale keeps readers interested to the point that it is hard to put her book down until they have greedily read every last page. Even then the story lingers in the mind until readers can get to the next book. Debbie is one of my favorite authors. I have yet to be disappointed by anything she writes!!

This Debbie MacOmber story is a pleasant revisit to the Heart of Texas series. It is wonderful to visit old friends and meet some new ones. If you haven't read Debbie's first six books about Promise, Texas, you must put them on your wish list.
In this story, like the others about Promise, commitment and trust are woven into love and respect. Family is important and so are friends. I recommend all seven of these Promise books for younger readers since the heart and soul of these stories leaves the love scenes to the imagination.
Enjoy! You can do nothing else in Promise, Texas.

After reading all of the other "Texas" series of books by Debbie Macomber, I was delighted to see that she had added another book to the lineup! After getting the book I couldn't wait to see what was happening to the establised residents of Promise and the new residents of Promise. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed in what happened to everybody in the town and to see that Richard was still up to his conning tricks!! I just hope that Debbie will keep on writing more books about Promise and keep us informed about everybody in the town.

I love all of Debbie Macomber's books. Because I like to get in some reading before bedtime and end up going through my books pretty fast, I always purchase two to three books at a time. That way I can go from one book to the next without missing a beat. I am so looking forward to this book. I believe it is the first of a series.

Since I had read the other preceeding books, not necessary to understand the story, I enjoyed getting reacquanted with them. I also enjoyed the new characters and their stories. I also enjoyed the character of Travis and how Macomber is able to use him to tie up previous stories. I hope she countinues to write stories about different peopple and how they interweave their lives, whatever the setting. How about a second generation?

it is a great story with sequel books . I cannot wait to read the next one. Debbie M. is a great clean writer. I love all her stuff. They are great clean love stories without all the smut and junk most other writers use as filler.

The book was nice but just too many characters and story line. Since the cover talked about Annie and Lucas I assumed that would be the mane focus. I found myself skipping some. I think it would have kept my interest more if there was less going on.

I loved this book but then I love most everything that is written by Debbie Macomber. She is a writer that I get so into her story line that I can laugh right out loud at something funny in the book.
