Castle Vroman (A Galaxy Unknown) (Volume 6)

This whole series is juvenile and fast paced. Ok, it's not good syfy but I'm always rooting for our heroin and have read the entire series. I'm 60 but still enjoy books written for teens. What does that say about me?

Book 6, Castle Vromanm, is another home run for the author. Once again, Admiral Carver does not disappoint and crushes her enemies while her replacement rides things out on a dinosaur infested planet. I highly recommend this entire series.

I agree completely that all AGU fans must read this, and as soon as possible. It answered all my questions, and scratched all my itches the entire time. I can't hardly wait for the 7th because he definitely set it up to be even more spectacular.

There were parts that made me want more action, or more depth, but I wasn't crying out loud for them as I would in other books. The story line, progression pace, and the quality of writing kept me from feeling an disappointment in what I got. :)

TJD...you rock! Please keep up the good work. I know you were waiting to see how the 6th was received before writing 8+...So I hope everyone reviews fast and plentiful!

Now I'm off to read it again, then read all 6 books in a row and cry for the 7th :P

I have been waiting for book six from Deprima. The continuing story of Jennata
Carver. It's great to see a female lead. Jen has to figure out how to deal with
Milor. They want to invade Alliance space with a larger space force than she commands.
As usual although she would rather be a Captain of a Battle ship she leads the
Alliance forces. You'll have to read what happens.
Deprima weaves tales of Trader Vyx and a group of marooned spacers into the
story well. Also some politics from both sides of the war. As usual I enjoyed
this book and wished it was longer. I'll have to wait for the next in the series.
The author does read these reviews and takes them to heart.
For those that enjoy a great science fiction series this is a must read.

Outstandingly entertaining. A riveting mixture of Elizabeth Moon and E.E. Smith?
One of those series you just read in entirety from beginning to end.
This is my second reading of the series and it is just as much fun the second time through.
