The latest chapter in the Knights of Black Swan is yet again a wonderful surprise and fun and thoughtful read. As with all of Danann's Black Swan stories A Tale of Two Kingdoms takes the reader on a wild ride with surprises at every turn. The multi-dimensional world created by Danann and shared with us is breathtaking and always relevant to our current world. The characters we have come to love and care about are there but some minor characters finally get their time in the sun! It is a wonderful tale of love and perseverance and thinking outside the box to find a resolution. I cannot wait for the next book in the series! This whole series is so worth any price and need to be read over and over. That is how great they are. Victoria Danann is a master story teller and she takes us all with her on these awesome rides! Thank you, Victoria!!

Tale of Two Kingdoms is a wonderful story about Aelsong and Duff. Duff is the Crown Prince of the Fae kingdom of Scotia and Aelsong is a princess of the Irish Royal Family of Elves and the sister of Ram Hawkin’s. The couple become a mated pair in an earlier book, which is an biological act of nature and if they don’t have access to each other, the mates will surely perish. The only problem is that the fae and elves are enemies. Although, no one really knows why or how the war started. This story helps identify the root of the war, how the two take extreme chances to become a couple and what is faced from the Royal families. It is wonderfully romantic and a modern version of a fairy tale. Ms. Danann has done it again. This is a wonderful adventure with plenty of twists and turns and is filled with love and romance.

This is the sixth book in Victoria Danann's series of the Knights of the Black Swan series. (Do yourself a favor and read them all from the first book, My Familiar Stranger, through to this book. You will love it!). A Tale of Two Kingdoms is the story of Duff and Aelsong, lovers who just happen to be members of the royal families of two different cultures....that happen to be enemies. Romeo and Juliet have nothing on this pair of star-crossed lovers. Duff has to figure out what to do when he and Aelsong realize they are one another's mates (which is no small thing in fairies'/elves' lives). I could really feel their torment. We learn more about these rival cultures in this book as well as a lesson about what's really important in life. Of course there is a bit of help from other members of the Knights of the Black Swan involved, and aren't we all glad for it! This story is so well done and I absolutely loved reading it. Pick this book up and read it....and you will renew your faith in the possibilities that exist when you really love someone.

I again am repeating myself that I love this series. An elf and a fae find out they are mates. Their respective races hate each other. These two find out they are mates and over the course of a year conspire as to how they can be together. They flee but then are betrayed and separated. An intervention is made and through their love the two races sign a peace agreement. As always, I enjoy the continuing lives of the other supporting characters. Good character building, laughs, suspense and mystery.

Victoria Danann, who knew that elves and fairies could have so much hatred. Love these two characters and all they go through. I mean how else would one solve a problem between the fae! Alsesong is one of the most beautiful characters that you have described thus far. And the fact that she is so humble makes her even more beautiful. Could this series get anymore great!

I loved this book! Victoria Danann knows how to tell a story and leaves you hoping she never quits writing! A Tale of Two Kingdoms is written about Duff and Aelsong, a story everyone has been waiting to hear! Their families, and their countries, do not want them together. How will they spend their lives with each other when everyone they know wants them apart?

This is the 6th book in the series, make sure you read My Familiar Stranger (it's free!) first so you can get the entire story in all its wonder! My Familiar Stranger Vampire Hunters ebook

Victoria Danann is such a great writer and has continued to add new characters as well as keep us in touch with our favorites from her first book My Familiar Stranger. A Tale of Two Kingdoms is the 6th book of the Knights of The Black Swan series that is Aelsong and Duff's love story. I have enjoyed each of these books so very much. Victoria weaves such a wonderful tale full of otherworldly characters that include fae, berserkers, werewolves, elves, vampires. If you are looking for a highly entertaining book full of excitement and love, this book is for you. I highly recommend reading the entire series beginning with My Familiar Stranger.
You will be glad you did. I can only repeat again and again that Victoria Danann's books are just delightful and so beautifully written.

Duff and Song...separated by the ongoing differences between fae and elf. Destined to be mates by the fickle whim of fate. What they do and what they go through to be together will remind you of any star-crossed pair of lovers that may come to mind. Ms. Danann once again draws the reader into this wonderful and intriguing world she has created and paints pictures with her words so that you feel as if you are actually there observing and living it.

A Tale of Two Kingdoms is book 6 in the serial saga The Knights of Black Swan. Be sure to read them in order so that you get the full and rich tapestry of the entire tale.

Waiting anxiously for installment 7!

Victoria Danann does a wonderful job with Duff and Aelsong's love story. Duff is the prince of the fae, while Aelsong is an elf of the royals, and this is where the problem lies, the elves and fae are sworn enemies. While Duff and Song just want nothing more to have a happy life together politics and family want nothing more than to pull them apart. I've read all of the black swan books and enjoyed every one. A very original series. This is the 6th book in the series and in order to get the full benefit of the series, please read in order by reading the first book My Familiar Stranger (Free for Kindle) so you don't miss anything in this great series!

Victoria Danann has done it again!!! This is the 6th in her series, Knights of the Black Swan; and her 6th masterpiece! A tale of love from two characters that we were introduced to in book 2, Witch's Dream. Can these two lovers breach the great obstacles that are stacked against them by their family, culture, race...? Once you start A Tale of Two Kingdoms you won't be able to put it down until you find the answer. But it is best to start with the first book in the series, My Familiar Stranger, and work your way up to this incredible tale to find out if "love is the exception to every rule". Bravo Victoria Danann!!!!! :)

She did it again!!
Victoria Danann knows exactly how to keep her Fans happy!
I have been waiting -impatiently- for the story of Duff & Song to be told & Now that it has finally been written, I couldn't be happier with how it all turned out.

A Tale of Two Kingdoms isn't just a story about a forbidden Love between enemies, but also a retelling of how two Kingdoms (Elves & Fae) became sworn enemies in the first place.
Find out how Duff and Aelsong's Love for eachother -with the help of Knights of Black Swan(of course)- can change everything.

This is book #6 in Knights of Black Swan Series & is highly recommended to be read in order, Starting with My Familiar Stranger.

Victoria Danann has engaged us in a love story that in their respective worlds is all but forbidden but with the help from a few friends, and their patience, perseverance and love, Aelsong and Duff find that love knows no boundaries...

Victoria Danann has thoroughly captivated me with the Knights of Black Swan – her portrayal of each character with all their perfect imperfections is spot on. I am so glad to have stumbled upon the series. The story of Aelsong and Duff is sweet and touching but also has a very strong underlying moral lesson on intolerance that goes beyond a fictional tale. Read all of the series you will not be disappointed!

Everyone who has read this series knows that Elves DO NOT like the Fae, (seriously, when I read Rammel's reaction in this book the first time I had to read it three more times and wait ten minutes to stop laughing!). So what happens when Rammel's younger sis and the Prince of the Fae are meant for each other? Mayhem and laughter ensues! Must read!

Love conquers all, with this installment of The Black Swan series! Victoria surely knows how to write a love story.I have been rooting for this union through the last couple of books. You know you have read a great book when you sigh when reading the last sentence. Victoria always gives me to a wonderful place to escape to, while reading.

I love this series, it just keeps getting better. In this book, the love and complications between Duff and Aelsong its reminiscent of Romeo and Juliete, but with a happy ending. As always the secondary characters are awesome, in this case, Ram and Elora! The honor of the fairies and the elves versus true love and normalcy!

Victoria delivers as always!

What a great love story. Intriguing! A Tale of Two Kingdoms indeed!

The Fae and Elves are enemies. And yet the Prince of Fae and Princess of Elves meet and are soulmates. A dramatic love story between Duff and Song. Loved it. Have tissue ready. Thanks Victoria, you've done it again.

This fantasy series just keeps getting better. Partly because of the great characters, all of whom you continue to get to read about. The other part is the great writing or world building of a great story you can lose yourself in.

Victoria Danann has yet another fabulous addition to her Knights of the Black Swan series

Just like Romeo and Juliet, Duff and Aelsong are not meant to be together, let alone mated. One an elf, the other fae, not allowed in the world as it is. But, love cannot be stopped so easily. With Elora's help, and a lot of luck, things just might work out.

I highly recommend this series - please be sure to read it starting at My Famiiar Stranger which is now free.

As always you have stories within the story. This times is Aelsong's and Duff's story. What are mated pairs to do when their species hate each other? Luckily they might have divine intersession.

This story is fun and fast paced, it includes set ups and updates for other stories but they flow seamlessly. Be ready for next book as soon as you are done.

Characters that you've grow to love in the previous books now are coming together and you find yourself cheering for them. Duff and Song now have their story and find their love for each other stronger than hundreds of years of hate between the Fae and the Elves...not to mention their families. But not all want to see these two separated...there are family and friends who are working behind the scenes conspiring to keep these two together. Overall, a heartwarmi

I am completely enamoured by The Knights of Black Swan. Building on each other as they do, but still a complete story line is so appreciated. Let me take a moment to say how very grateful I am for the recaps Ms Danann provides at the beginning of each new book. Well done!

A Tale of Two Kingdoms
I thought Gathering Storm was the best! She Topped it again!
Be Still My Heart!!! Love Story… Romeo & Juliet… Cleopatra & Mark Antony…
Cinderella & Prince Charming… You may have thought Those were the greatest Love stories ever told.
Well Think again!!! Good thing I was sitting, Made me week in the knees. She brought out all my emotions again & again..
**“My love.” He closed his eyes when he heard her voice, like a lick of honey. “There you are.” “Here I am.”
He pulled her into his arms and stared at her face like he’d never seen her before. She did the same with him.*
**They stepped onto a grass path in front of a thatch roof cottage, next to a stream, with blooming flowers that would put most botanical gardens to shame.*
** This is The dimension & spot I would love to get lost in for awhile…*
These are a few passages from the book.
Made me melt a bit. If you are looking for a true love Story this is it! I was spent when I got done reading this! Soo Gooood!
Now If My review of this book has not convinced you to get this book. Get the book anyway you will love it!!!!!

Ah, the course of true love never goes smoothly, and that's what I loved about this story. As much as I love HEA, I like to see the couple work for it. Ms. Danann gives her characters so much complexity that makes me feel like I can go and meet them in real life.
