It's Hard to Fight Naked

I thought this book would be more interesting, but it was nothing I haven't heard before. The author keeps repeating how "blunt" she is but I've seen/heard better. I think this book is advice on how to trap a man, not how to meet one and keep them. I felt that the author tried too hard to be this "author that keeps it real."
I think that her advice on being honest is great advice, because I believe it's easier to tell the truth and maybe hurt someone for a little bit, than to lie and get caught up causing devastation. I think that her advice about Bj's every morning is unrealistic and would get boring after a while. I don't know about anyone else, but I would feel like it would be another chore. Don't get me wrong, I love my fiance and don't mind giving him pleasure, but I wouldn't want to feel like I "have" to do something. Also, she says she had sex with her husband before he went to a game, in short, so that he wouldn't stray..... so I seen that as, I'm going to have sex with my man because I don't want him to cheat on me, not because I really want to.
Maybe her advice isn't for everyone. I was bored and didn't even finish the book.

see if there is anything you can do or add to keep things going. Lets just say my husband loved the
tip on a new way to use tea. The book is a quick and fun read and the title she really wanted for the
book I have lived by for over 35 years.

Niecy Nash takes the age old issues of relationship preservation or relationship seeking and stirs them up with her comedic genius!! Ladies, if you don't "get it" after reading this straight to the point, hilarious, shake-your-head self-help book....well...sista, you just may not need to be in a relationship! Secret ending,,,,Jay Tucker gives his two-cents!! LOVE THIS BOOK!! It's a must read!

This book was somewhat okay. I bought it based on a radio interview that I heard with Neicy. No offense but I find it hard to read a book so dedicated to how to get a keep a man when she's on her second husband. I knew of her marital situation before buying the book but I didn't expect her to be so opinionated considering her situation. I RARELY ever fail to finish a book but this one was not that good and I found many of her views to be ridiculous. Don't waste your money. I like Neicy normally but she should never write another book about relationships and marriage.

I was planning on purchasing this book, but opted to get it from the library first, before adding it to my personal library. I read all the reviews on the store and wondered what I am I missing? I guess I was disappointed because Ms. Nash professes Christianity, ( former Pastors wife) but her advice is far from it. I had to laugh about her boldly taking credit for Sherry Shepherd meeting her bum of a husband ( now her ex). I know she wishes she never put it in the book. Lol Still think getting a man who is NOT gainfully employed is a preference Niecy? SMH! Honestly, I wouldn't listen to much this woman has to say. Her advice is not all bad, she is just not my go to person for marital advice. My opinion. Oh, I'm sure you figured out that I won't be buying the book.
