The pictures and exercises in the book are helpful

Pro/Con:
The book teaches you words from every dialect of Spanish which means you will learn certain words that may not come up in other Spanish speaking places. example? Vosotros. Only used in Spain. -__-;'

Con:
The cost!! How has textbook/ online lab prices become so outrageous. D:<

Overall: I had to get it for my class and it did a decent job teaching the basics of Spanish.

This was one of my favorite textbook purchases. It was a great deal on the book and it came with the code that I needed for the class. People from my spanish class had ordered this book from other sites and it did not include the code.

Bought this book from the store and not those marketplace sellers. Item arrived looking brand new, plastic sealed but when I opened it there was NO access code. I don't know how that can happen, I expected better from the store. Wasted my time.

The description said "Used." I expected it to be marked up, without the workbook, or if it had the workbook it would be written in. It was still in the plastic like it was brand new! Awesome, made my day.

ORDERED ONCE NO CODE FOR ACCESS TO HEINLE.COM WHICH MY INSTRUCTOR REQUIRES AND A NEW BOOK WOULD INCLUDE. i HAD REPLACEMENT SENT... AND... BURNED TWICE!!! VERY ANGRY WITH YOU the store.COM, CLASS STARTS IN 3 DAYS.

I purchased this textbook after purchasing one from another website and recieving the instructors edition, which meant that I could not access iLrn. So, I thought that because this one claims to come with the iLrn access card, I would finally be able to do my spanish homework. Well, I recieved the book today. The access code does not work. When I type it in to the website, it says that the code is not valid. Which is really great because it means that now I have to pay about 150$ so I can do my homework. I would return the book just for that fact that the code is invalid and I could probably get a new one for 50$, but since it took me two weeks to recieve this book, even though I chose one day shipping. If an access code is promised, it should be a working access code.

Bought this book because another seller sent the wrong book. Brand new with the plastic and card where the access code is was sealed, but the code doesn't work! Why wouldn't it work if it is brand new?

Had to purchase another book with working access code. The ad was VERY misleading, then the access code could not be used, so I had to buy another book for $150, which is what I should have done to start with.

They said there would be an iLrn access card, but mine was gone. I had to pay an additional $113 to do my my homework. Do not get this if you need online access, which all of the classes at my school do
