There are no words......simply no words. Once you start reading, you really shouldn't stop. The words will nag at your mind distracting you from what you should be doing. And you will be thinking " what the what????? ". Totally a mind blowing read. Ok, so I found a few words...... but that's it. Enjoy the read......so worth it.

Every book/series is different! I expect the unexpected when I prepare to read anything you've written, but this was something entirely new. Even after reading the reviews I wasn't sure where this would lead, but I'm so glad I took the trip with you!

I spoiled it for myself by reading so many reviews that I expected an unexpected ending. It's still a good story but do yourself a favor and read only a couple of reviews so you'll be pleasantly surprised at the end.

Totally love everything that Tara Brown writes! I'm usually very good at guessing how a book will end....not Blood and Bones. So many twists and turns that I literally have a headache. Tara you are a genius and I can't wait to see what the next one will bring.

I loved that the story was never predictable. Even the dark had a light side. There were no absolutes because the story kept changing with a fluidity that kept your mind engaged. When I got to the end I just sat back and had to process the journey I had been on and how it all connected. I had read the Devil's Roses series and loved it because of a similar unpredictability that came with Brown's writing. This series does not disappoint either.

Wow. Tara brown does it again. The writing was probably the best I have read by her so far. The storyline is so dark and so twisted but I got immediately drawn in. Every time the main characters world fell apart I got emotionally drained too because I was right there with her. I can't say much more without revealing the whole plot and ruining it. But this is a definite mind game of a book. The great part is that it flows so beautifully you don't realize how big the game was until the epilogue hits. Then you are left going "wtf did that really just happen?"

Whoa!!!! That was a wild ride! What an imagination this girl has! Well written. Keeps you guessing all the way thru. Makes sense in the end but in a way you never see coming. Could've been just as good without the sex scenes

I could have easily given this novel 4 stars just for the writing skills shown by the author but the things that bothered me about the plot, really bothered me; so in spite of all the good things about this read I'm going to stick with 3 - 3.5 stars
It's very difficult to leave a review of this novel without giving away any spoilers so I'll just say that the book is a real page turner full of mistery and turns but many facts do not add up along the story and to make it worse the conlussion/ending made me feel a tiny bit cheated.
I really enjoyed the writing style, the story flows pretty nicely and I couldn't put the book down even if I was constantly distracted from what I was reading by mulling over all the previous things I have read that didn't add up.
I understand that the main goal of the plot is to keep the reader confused by giving lots of confusing facts and leaving loose ties along the way in order to do so, but some of them don't really add up to the plot and seem like they were left there by the author with the only purpose to add to the confussion and (as the story is so fast paced and there are so many twist) counting on the readers to not register the fact that many things are incongruous and gratuitous and there is not an explanation for them; This really bothered me and detracted me big time from my enjoyment of this story.

Tara Brown has once again absolutely blown me away with this book! There were so many twists and turns and I found myself experiencing a roller coaster of emotions when reading this book! Blood and Bone is so unpredictable, original, creative and it was a breath of fresh air.
I highly recommend Blood and Bone and have diarised the release of Sin and Swoon.

I highly recommend you not start this book UNLESS you can finish it the same day. Even when you think you have figured something out, you haven't. Face it, we will never be able to conquer or reason with the mind of Tara Brown. She is stinking amazing and puts her imaginations on paper/ebooks to share with us. I finished this book last night and I am still thinking about it. I am trying process this story, where there any clues or any inkling to what the heck was going on. It was awesome. I would read it again. I have read all her books, loved every one of them. This one involves an intriguing lady, a brilliant almost too perfect guy, another guy who maybe good or bad, an abusive father, a loving Aunt and a cat named Binx. Now put that in the blender and spin it all around and you have your story. Be ready for a roller coaster ride. Frankly, to say it nicely, your mind is about to get jacked with. ENJOY!
Please RateBlood and Bone
Blood and Bone is like riding a roller coaster without a safety bar. The back and forth twists and turns were unwinding at such a fast pace, it was making my head spin. Then something funny happened, no sooner did I have that thought, I turned a page and the main character was thinking the exact same thing.
Tara's skills and writing style not only captured my attention, but it pulled me into the spiraling cyclone of her storyline, I could relate to her characters, experience the ever unfolding events. Before I even realized it myself, I was trapped, I needed to know what was really going on.
Every time I thought I had it figured out, Tara pulled the rug out from under me and had my thoughts running with her main character in a completely different direction. I found I just couldn't put it down, not even at 5:00 a.m. when I realized I had been up all night reading. My eyes were heavy with a need for sleep and I still couldn't stop reading. Grabbing coffee, Kindle in hand, I kept right on reading until the end. The ending blew my mind with the unexpected (won't say what since I detest spoilers).
I quickly realized that this was a new favorite and I had to buy it. This is definitely Not a Prime Library choice that you can read and return then forget about. It's a keeper. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
I highly recommend Blood and Bone and I'm positive you will not be disappointed.
