Love this series! Halfway through, classes started so I'll finish later.

The Queen of the Damned novel was the movie version instead of the box set version, however. Disappointed there, but at least it is the same size and publisher, so it doesn't matter all that much. It's just a cover variation.

The first two have much less, if any, errors to be found. Some more are found further along in the series--typos usually.

Another excellent tale from Anne Rice in the saga of Lestat. Incredibly intriguing with appropriate twists and turns that support what we know of Lestat and reveal more in depth characteristics of Lestat and his closest friends. Some areas my seem to drag in "unnecessary details" but I enjoyed the change of pace and backdrop provided for the players. Overall another winner!

I finally got around to watching the movie Interview With the Vampire. I've always felt that books are so much better than the movie so I bought the book and wasn't disappointed. I was hooked and want to read the other books in the series, The Vampire Chronicles, This book is either the 4th or 5th one in that in that series and it was wonderful!

I received this book set and read the first book. When I started to read the second book "The Vampire Lestat" I saw that the first 102 pages are missing! So now I have to re-order this book before I can finish the series. The seller had to know that these pages were missing.

Typical Anne Rice very boring and nothing new in her story telling. Have read all her books and the characters are all perfect gay or bisexual. Very detailed in every aspect of sex such as observing someone's body or the act of sex itself. Story line was ok, but again it would be nice to leave something to the imagination.
