Fast paced and impossible to predict almost until the end. Somehow the ending left me with a sense of justice but felt just a bit glib. I cared about Gabe and could believe the scenarios except that he may have been just a bit too good and mature for his age. I will try more of Faye Kellerman's past book soon.

LOVE ALL FAYE KELLERMAN'S BOOKS!!! The Decker series are my favorite! I love the mix between Peter's job and all the things going on I in his home life. He books are ALWAYS so full of back stories that I find I can't wait to see how everybody is doing almost more than the actual mystery!! I also love the Chris and Gabe are regulars!!! It's so well written, it makes me want to be part of their family and friends!!

After reading Hangman, I immediately read Gun Games knowing it was going to continue Gabe's story. This was a quick read with a good plot. I continue to be fascinated with the Christopher Donatti storyline.

I love Faye Kellerman's Decker/Lazarus books, and this one was no exception. I enjoyed reading about the evolution of their family, the addition of new members, and how they figure in the police work that Peter Decker is involved in. I LOVE "who dun it's"!

Yuck, ewwww, ugh - that about says it all. This was not anywhere near being a Decker/Lazarus mystery. First, there was no Lazarus. It seems like Faye Kellerman wrote this under the title of Decker/Lazarus to be able to lure in people like me who enjoyed most of the past adventures of these two. Rina popped in every once in a while, but did nothing of importance.
If Faye Kellerman wanted to write a book such as this about teenagers, sex, angst, etc - that is fine. But it was wrong to try to pawn off her story as being a Decker/Lazrus mystery. She should have written a totally separate book described as a story about a 15 year old and 14 year old couple. At first, I thought tale of the teens was just going to be a rather dull side story, but it soon took over the whole book.
For a novel titled Gun Games (which sounded so interesting and promising), it turned out to be a very strange yet dull book which lacked a plot line that could hold my interest. Quite a disappointment....

OK, I have now exhausted all Decker/Lazarus on Kindle. I read them totally out of order with no problems. Occasionally frustrated by some of Decker's (and Cindy's) stubborness, I found this a great series to read. Depth of character and plots are always excellent. Lokking foward to more!

Faye Kellerman is an author I enjoy reading. Once I find an author I like I will usually read everything they write. If they already have 10-20 titles out by the time I discover them, I will usually read them straight through in order. She is a solid writer in a genre that I enjoy. I don't have the sort of critical mind that evaluates one title as being superior to another. I just experience it as another solid offering in a series that I enjoy.

I have always enjoyed Faye Kellerman's books and this was no exception!!!! Even thought it was pretty obvious who our "bad guy" was, there were enough twists and turns getting there to satisfy any reader.

I, like some other reviewers, was very disappointed with this book. I have read all of the Peter and Rina novels and was so excited when I saw a new one. I am not a prude but found all of the "f" words and sexual content between Gabe and Jasmine distasteful. It was not needed to make this a good read.

Love the Gabriel Whitman character and hope to see more of him. . His musical talent, his relations with his father, with Decker and Rina and his girlfriend are complicated and can lead in many directions. Looking forward to seeing his life unfold.
