The plot continues and the ongoing confrontation with the former Master either in thoughts or in deeds is never far behind. A good example of books that take you in a side of the Star Wars universe not shown in the film (I didn't play the game so I am not sure how much of this is just the plot from the game or not, but it was a good plot). May the Force be with you !

R.A. Salvatore is one of my favorite authors stemming from his character Drizzt. He continues to impress in this book, without going into any details, it was had to put down. If you like/love Star Wars, this will not disappoint.

The first book in the new order series features a new extra-galactic enemy, that brings with it a fascinating new biological technology. Unfortunately, I found myself continuing to read further just to see what new technologies were introduced, and not because I cared about the characters. The dialog between the characters was predictable and juvenile, and the plot just sort of dragged me along instead of beckoning me further. All in all, not one of Salvatore's best works.

This book moves with a fantastic pace. All the losses in this chapter are masterfully done and extremely sad. Cannot say this with enough force, this is the best book in the series by far. I really cannot find the right words. Rest in peace Anakin.

One of the best Starwars books ever written , as well as being A perfect example of what Science Fiction should be like. This book has complex characters, strange technology ,and an intense plot. In the story we are given a believable plot that we can somewhat relate to, A battered government is forced to make a tough decision , that governments of our own world have had to make (to act in accordance to threats of a terrorist or invader ) , children come of age and claim their destiny , and we learn just what it means to be a hero. No spoilers , but the Solo's are the stars this time around, man can they fight!

This is an incredible book. I absolutely loved the fact that it guided me back into the world of star wars instead of assuming you know the entire previous saga. Although there are several sad elements to this book, I really enjoyed the entire process! Definitely recommend!

This book had a great plotline, but there are some real problems. I didn't like the character death (sorry, ain't gunna telll you WHO dies... I had to read it, so will you), it seemed to me that the wrong person died. Leia's character seemed weird, I don't know, just something weird about how she was portrayed. I did like how the author actually suggests that Luke and Mara... act like spouses, as well as how they were treated. I give it a three mainly because of characterization.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed by Sean Williams introduces Darth Vader's secret Sith apprentice, who has been raised since before his memory by Darth Vader with no other name besides the Apprentice. Codenamed Starkiller, he is being trained to aid Darth Vader in overthrowing the Emperor and seizing control of the Empire. In preparation for that day, he is sent on missions by Darth Vader to destroy his many enemies--including those Jedi around the galaxy that have survived Order 66. As Starkiller defeats Jedi and becomes overly familiar with his new pilot, Juno Eclipse, he begins to question his role as Sith apprentice and his past with Vader. Who is he exactly? Where did he come from? And does he have room in his future for anyone but the Dark side of the Force?
I have mixed feelings about this novel. Part of me is ecstatic about anything that is Star Wars--provided the creation is not something horrible, like Jar-Jar Binks or Endor. While The Force Unleashed is definitely not horrible, my excitement about it is basically pathetic, on the same level as a typical fanboy. As an appraiser of literature, The Force Unleashed is beyond mediocre. I would not be exaggerating by stating that if you have played the video game, then you have read this novel. Ninety-nine percent of the dialogue is from scenes from the video game; I didn't notice any action that was not expressed in the game. The characters, which have such amazing potential, especially Juno Eclipse, whom I feel is the first female character in Star Wars who is not annoying, have not been explored beyond the surface level. Simply put, this novel should have been more, akin to the Revenge of the Sith--instead of just a summary of the game.
