This charming tale is so beautifully written. The characters ccme alive right out of the pages and I simply could not put this book down. I fell in love with Conor O'Shea when I met him in book one of this series and was so happy to be able to follow him through books 2 and 3. Now I can hardly wait for the next one to see what and who he gets involved with on this beautiful little island of Ireland.

Jean Grainger's true skill is her characters. It's amazing to me how in such economical descriptions you feel that you know these characters, and in fact may have even met them in real life. It's impossible for me to not become emotionally invested in these people, and to wish that I also was living in the pages of the story. I also enjoy that each of the books in this series can be read as stand alone novels, with each novel enriching the reading experience. What more can you wish for in a novel but smooth writing, characters that you fall in love with a bit more in each novel, beautiful descriptive settings, and charm just bursting out of each page? I only hope that I can win the lottery and one day move to Ireland to enjoy the charm in person.

Once again we meet up with Jean Grainger's lovable characters in beautiful Ireland. Not only is it great to catch up with Conor, Corlene, Ana and the rest, but we get to accompany them on a grand undertaking: renovating a centuries-old castle and turning it into a luxe vacation destination. As if this wasn't exciting enough, there's a ghost (or is there?) thrown into the mix! This newest addition to Jean Grainger's catalogue of great reads is simply irresistible! Be sure to join in on the fun!

A hotel is purchased, well not really, it is a Castle that has been abandoned for years. Why, because it is said to be haunted. This is the fascinating story that Jean develops in her newest book. I have not read others in the tour series, but found that the book stands alone. A great story with a lovely Irish flavor.

Finishing this, my fourth Jean Granger book, I can only conclude that Ms. Grainger is one of those rare talents who can keep you on the edge of your seat, heart pounding like a drum, until the very last twist. Then leave you sighing with happiness at how well everything turned out. I virtually gobbled up all four of the Connor O'Shea series and loved every one of them. I sincerely hope there will be more of them, but I'm not waiting! I already bought another of hers... must go start it now!

There was no way I could put th u s book down. A lot of emotion ran through the book and I found my feelings for all the characters taking control. The book was written well, with a beginning, middle and end. No fillers here. Absolutely can't wait to read the next book by this author.

Every book written by Jean Grainger is my favorite until the next one. I love the characters in this series and I want to stay in the hotel. Jean manages to show how tolerance, forgiveness and understanding are the way out of conflict. Please don't ever stop writing.

Best book of this series, in as much as our favorite well-developed characters move forward in their lives. Minor characters reappear, and are also further fleshed out. Very interesting plotline with a mystery, and a possible spirit. All I can say now is, more please!!

Another great book in the Grainger tradition. All the same characters that we have followed since The Tour. Jean manages to give us so much Irish history wrapped up in a story with people that are real, and that make me sad to finish the book. I can't wait for the next one, please keep writing Jean!

I’ve loved all of Jean’s books and this was not a disappointment ! Her description of the characters and of Ireland are simply wonderful and intriguing. She puts so much detail into her books about her homeland that you can feel the love. Read it in your home and you’ll be transported to Ireland.

If you’ve ever wanted to go to Ireland, Jean Grainger’s books will make you feel like you are there. The Story of Grenville King is another “I can’t put this down” book. I would recommend you read the first two books in this series first. You will love the characters. I feel blessed to have discovered this author, and I’m always ready for the next book! Thank you Jean Grainger!

This is another great read from Jean Grainger! Ms. Grainger is exceedingly adept at building a story then throwing in unexpected twists and turns. There are many great characters in this story, and an unexpected villian or more. Ms. Grainger once more provideD a book that I could not put down!

Jean has outdone herself. Tour guide turned resort owner, brings the same people skills to his new venture. Conor is a real person to me, as are Ana, the twins, Corlene... I finished the book and miss them.

These books just keep getting better and better. It makes one long to meet these people and the storied tales of Ireland are the perfect background. I, for one, will be anxiously awaiting the next installment.

Grainger does it again! Started the book & could hardly bear to put it down. Such fun to see the further development of characters introduced in "the Tour", in addition to the Irish history & lore involved.

Even though I have read the first two books in the series, I was not bothered too much by the dipping back into the old stories to explain characters. I really enjoy Jean Grainger’s books, the stories are intriguing, but I think I love most the history of Ireland and the pictures she paints with her words and just for a brief while, being there!

This is a wonderful book! I have really enjoyed 'all of Jean Grainger's books. They are interesting and you don't have to worry about
foul language or explict sex scenes. I recommend this book to anyone!

I love Jean Grainger’s book. The plots and characters make you feel you are in the story with them. I love feeling like I’m part of the story as it unfolds. Conor and Ana are wonderful and the whole Tour Series is a must read. I recommend all highly and this one is on top of it all. Thanks Jean.

I have now read all her books & being of Irish/English decent it only makes me want to go to Ireland. At 75, may not make it but I always feel such a pull every time I read anything about this beautiful country!! Love her writing

Thoroughly enjoyed this story. Characters from The Tour make more than a cameo appearance in this book. It's a continuation story and very enjoyable to read. It's great to see how the characters and relationships have grown and changed. Highly recommend!

Wow! Jean has done it again. Lucky enough to be an advanced reader and devoured the book. There are some new characters introduced along with catching up with our old friends from The Tour. Having visited Ireland a few times and some of the places she references it is right on. Didn’t want the story to end. Looking forward to where Jean takes us next!

Excellent reading. This book was so interesting, with historical fact, but woven through out in such a way that it was never stuffy or boring. Filled with twists and turns and realistic events that caused me to want to keep reading until late into the night. Well done Jean Grainger, I can't wait to read more of your series, thank you for all the hard work you put into this.

I’ve read all three of the “Conor” series and enjoyed them emensely. The series is one of the best “people” stories I’ve read in a long time, maybe one of the best ever. Thank you Ms. Grainger.

At last another chance to catch up with Conor, his family and some of the characters from the other Tours. The setting of the castle is wonderful and maybe it will be 'done up' again in the next book in the series. Another book from Jean which you are unable to put down. Can't wait for the next one. Thank you.

As usual, another lovely story from Jean Grainger! Ms. Grainger does a marvelous job of developing her characters into real people, with real problems and real heart - and this continuation of the story of Conor O'Shea and family is a fine example of just that. I can't wait for the next Conor O'Shea story - I'm hooked on the Irish.....

Absolutely loved this book. Who among us wouldn't be in heaven to get to renovate an old Irish castle. Especially one with it's very own ghost. Even so, Conner has has a hard time making the decision to do it.

Keep writing, Jean Grainger! So great to get an update on the characters from the first two Tour books. I know that the Castle will have lots more interesting characters and the ones we already know and love.

Reading the story of the Grenville King is like visiting with friends you’ve known all of your life. Add in an ancient Irish mystery and this book is impossible to put down. I hope there will be additional stories in the future.

I connected to this story in several ways. I am Ukrainian with a mother named Anastasia. I never knew my grandparents and adopted a grandma who was Irish. This story brought many smiles to my heart.

Book was really a great read, how they took a castle and made it into a 5 Star hotel. It was a story about a family that had owned the castle years ago and had a lot family heart breaks.
This book continues the story of Conor and his family, with Corlene and her son over come some bad breaks in her life. Her past comes back to haunt her.
The story of a lost boy in castle that had die in a fire years ago. Very happy ending, and look forward to next in series.
Author does a wonderful job of telling the area around Ireland and how the land looks and how green everything is. Makes me wish I could see it. Always wanted too. Her characters are three dimensional, with flaws like everyone. I felt like I was part of story. Author did wonderful job on book.
Received a Arc copy from author for a honest review and this is only my opinion.

Wow, Jean Grainger has done it once again. This is a truly amazing story with something for everyone. It is compelling, fast-paced, interesting, romantic, mysterious, historical, and funny all in one 'Irish' story. I loved it.

I loved the character, Conor O'Shea, from The Tour and he is getting even better as he ages. LOL His wife, Anna, is so adorable as she expresses herself in broken English and his twin boys are delightful. Jean Grainger does not disappoint.

I received this book as an ARC and am not obligated to give a review whether good or bad, but I am delighted to say that this is a great story and a wonderful follow-up to The Tour.

How delightful to catch up with Conor O'Shea again and some of the other wonderful characters we first met on ' The Tour'. Whilst it is not necessary to read the previous two books in this series to enjoy The story of Grenville King I highly recommend them .. they are beautiful books and set the scene for this book.
This book has everything you could possibly want, fantastic characters, a beautiful location, drama, history and a mystery. It is a wonderful book from a talented author. I definitely recommend it.

This is the third in the Tour series, and picks up on some of the characters we previously met. Having said that, you don't need to have read the earlier books to enjoy this one. A great read, and thoroughly recommended.

Wonderful to get once more into the world of Connor O Shea. Well done Jean another great tail, if with a twist that rings so true. I loved the continuing Conor's story. Having in a house which had a benevolent presence, It all seem so real so Irish. Congratulations Jean keep them coming.

Once again Jean has delivered yet another enjoyable novel. Having read the other two novels as part of 'The Tour' series, I felt like some old friends had dropped in. I enjoy the descriptions of Ireland, the language and folklore.

So glad Jean has continued with Conor's story and brought back characters from The Tour. Even though this is the third book from The Tour series it can be read as a standalone book. Jean's writing is heartwarming and really draws you to her characters and you feel like you know these people yet they're only fictional.
