I voluntarily read an advanced readers copy of this book and will definitely recommend it!

Tara and Galen is one hot couple. Galen lost his wife after she gave birth to their daughter Till I. Now her parents want custody of his daughter and he will do whatever it takes to keep her. That includes getting married again. Something he vowed to never do. Sara's friend Amanda and Galen' s friend John are the true masterminds behind this marriage. Galen goes through some drama but it's an eye opener for him. Great read and it does have a happy ending. Now I would love to see what happened between John and Amanda lol.

This was different than I thought it would be based on the synopsis. Galen has actually settled down and is raising his daughter. He has a great group of friends to support him too, guys that even babysit. I thought Tara might be too young for an experienced man like him but although she is a little insecure about her appearance she goes into this "relationship" with her eyes wide open. I'm glad that their transition was smooth because they have a lot of drama to deal with which they knew was coming but things shockingly get a little more serious than either expected. Very interesting, in-depth, heartwarming story.

I received an Arc for an honest review
Well, this book was a pleasant surprise !! I was expecting the usual boring student who sleeps with her professor with a blah storyline. This was not boring!! Yes, Tara is a student and Galen is a professor, she is not 'his' student. She's the next door neighbor who's not his type and he is a horn-dog. Galen has in-law problems, babysitter problems and is guilt-ridden about the death of his wife. The usual happens and hea. But Summer spins a good story. This was well written and the characters were fully developed. I would have purchased this book and you should too.

I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of Professor Next Door.

It's a sexy, sweet, steamy and charming read, and I enjoyed every second of it.

If you enjoy your love storys with a strong beautiful young virgin and a real handsome alpha male looking for a soulmate, you'll love this one.

The plot is well written and engrossing. The characters interaction and dialog is captivating and humorous. I loved how the heroine holds everything together, and fight for a girl and the girls father even though their not her family. The story is heart-breaking but with a beautiful HEA.

Professor Galen’s wife died a short time after Rikki was born. Two years later his in-laws want to take her away from him. Tara moved in the house next door to Galen and developed a crush on him. At the suggestion of Galen’s friends, Tara fake marries Galen and the story develops beautifully from here. The character development was impressive and very well written. Tara is very intelligent and a tower of strength during their times of trouble. The secondary characters are wonderful and contribute immensely to this beautiful story. I reviewed an ARC for my honest review and was very happy to do so.

Galen is a history professor at the college and a single dad since his wife died two years ago. His buddies help him out whenever they can after his usual daycare provider up and quits on him. Then he notices his new neighbor that has just moved in. She is a student at the coege, but not as young as the other ones. Her name is Tara and at first there is only attraction on her part for him. But, in due time thongs sure do get hot and steamy between these two. Throw in a custody fight with his ex-in-laws and it's rather explosive! I read this book as an ARC and this is my hpnrsy review.

I volunteered to reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. Another wonderful book by Summer Cooper. This book piqued my interest from the very beginning and I found it hard to put down. The storyline begins with Galen, a very hot professor and widower with a two year old child. Tara, has just lost her grandmother, her only family, and has moved in next door. The characters in this book have been fully developed and you will fall in love with them. Not only is this book hot and steamy but it will bring out every emotion and leave you feeling good and wanting more. Great job Summer.

Voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book and I loved it. Galen is a good-looking neighbor of Taras who happen to teach at her college. She is a quiet sweet woman who is stronger than what she seems. Galen is in desperate need of a babysitter for his young daughter Rikki, who is absolutely adorable. Even with some friends to look after her he needs help. Then his in-laws who he hasn't seen in forever want custody he marries Tara. We follow them on their journey of happy ever after. This book spoke to me from the beginning right until the end. Thoroughly entertaining. Awesome job Summer.

Great contemporary story, this is a sweet and fun romance with a single dad professor asking his sweet and friendly neighbor for a huge favor, will this favor turn into a sweet romance or will it be a big mistake. If you enjoy a fun romance with an interesting plot and entertaining characters then this is a book you will enjoy. I read this book and couldn't put it down, I even enjoyed the deleted scene at the end and found that it was a nice add-on that I hadn't expected but am glad was added.

I received a copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review.

This was a really good story,,,,,, Tara was a college student that was going to be a Dr..... Galen was her next door neighbor with s little girl, Rikki and who had no time for live in his life,,,,,, but needed s babysitter desperately,,,,, It was bad enough that Tara saw Galen at home but at school, in passing,,, he was s Professor,,,,

Buy this story and go on an uphill and twisty turny drive and see what happens when the past comes back looking for something Galen has,,,,,, I totally recommend it,,,,

Galen is a professor and a single father and gets into a custody battle with his dead wife's parents. Tara takes classes at the university where Galen teaches but she is not in any of his classes and she happens to move next door to him and his daughter. Tara is very attracted to Galen so when Galen comes up with a desperate plan to marry Tara for a way to keep his daughter Tara says yes. The bond between the three of them becomes so strong. There are some twists and turns and surprises at the court date and after. A must read. I recieved an ARC for an honest review.

WOW... This story just kept getting better and better the more I read.
It's one of the most heartfelt, emotional, insanely hot stories I've read so far!
Galen is a lonely widowed professor with a daughter. He thinks he and his daughters life is perfect until he meets his beautiful shy next door neighbor. Tara falls hear over heels for Galen and Rikki. But will Galen's past tear them apart?
Galen, Tara and Rikki couldn't be anymore perfect for each other!
I can't recommend this one enough!

This hot professor (Galen) is a rule breaking man whore and a widowed single father. A young but put together college student (Tara) moves in next door. Pleasantries are exchanged and each go their own ways for s bit until Galen realizes he needs respectability and decides Tara is perfect for the job. I mean after all she is the girl next door, literally and figuratively and get along well with Galens toddler. This book chewed me up at the beginning and spit me out in the end. I was thoroughly hooked! I am voluntarily leaving this review for an ARC I received.

First an admission: I really dislike the description of this novel. My reaction would've been that the guy is far too much of a sleazoid for me to waste my time. I actually only tried the book because I've read other books by Summer Cooper and really loved them. Beyond that we have the usual Summer Cooper fare, meaning that the plot is sound, characters were enjoyable, the romance, sizzling sex really, well, yummy, and the writing very good. This was a fun romp and I'm actually happy to recommend it .

A Review of Professor Next Door by Summer Cooper

Galen and Tara - 4 stars

This is the first book I have had the pleasure to read by this author. I absolutely LOVE the cover on this one! This book is so much more than what you think you are getting when you read the blurb and look at the cover. Well worth the price, especially when you consider there are two complete books in this one!

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. I received an ARC copy and agreed to read it expecting your typical older professor with young student relationship. It turned out to be so much more with lots of turns and twists right up until the very end. This is my first read of Summer Cooper, but it definitely will not be my last. Hint I'd love to see an indepth story of Amanda and John, their best friends, not just a teaser. I gladly volunteered this review of a very enjoyable read.

Galen is a professor who sleeps with his students. He is also a widower, and has a 2 year old daughter.
He's had the help from friends to watch her.
Tara moves in next door, she sees Galen and for her it's love at first sight.
When Galen asks her to marry him in order to keep his daughter they get more than they each bargained for.
Good read, steady pace, I read this in a day.

"I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book." Absolutely amazing. This is actually the first book I ever read from summer and I was not disappointed. This book had everything. I really likes how the relationship between galen and Tara played out. He was unsure about her at first but as soon as she agreed to marry him for the sake of his daughter, he realized that she was more to him than he ever thought. I read this in one day cause I could not put it down. Amazing.

Tara is the sheltered new neighbor who just started college. Galen is the mighty fine professor who isn't afraid to mix schooling and pleasure. Tara helps Galen out, as his daughter's babysitter. Then, she helps him out by marrying Galen to save Rikki (Galen's wonderful young daughter) from being legally "stolen" by her grandparents. As they fight for Rikki, their love blossoms into an unbreakable bond! If you love happily ever after, you have to read this book!

Galen and Tara are both overcoming grief. Their unconventional relationship starts off by Galen needing a babysitter for his daughter, Rikki. In an attempt to keep his daughter from his late wife's parents, Galen marries Tara. As their relationship blossoms, unexpected circumstances arise. See how these 2 survive the battles. HEA. This book was way more than I expected. I loved it and couldn't put it down. I was given this book as an ARC and am giving my honest opinion.

Galen and Tara are one hot couple, and with little Rikki added in they are one great family. From the start this story pulled at my heart strings. It's always hard loose people but especially when your young. I love when books suck me in and this one did for sure. From Galen's friends to Tara and Amanda it was quite a little group. And the ending holy crap I cried a little. Maybe I'm a big baby but those are the kinda books I love. I received a copy for an honest review.

Summer Cooper has done it again! This is the second book of hers that I have read and I was equally impressed with both. I received an ARC and voluntarily leave a honest review. Galen and Tara story was very cute and endearing. I loved how Summer made galen's daughter into a real character rather than just a before mentioned entity. I laughed at so much throughout this book she's a very creative and very funny author! Plus there were plenty of "wow am I blushing for real" moments. Let's just say, dang this author can make it hott! I can't wait for John and Amanda's journey!

This is not your usual professor/student story. Tara moves in next door to Gavin and his daughter Rikki. She is not his usual type, and although she finds him hot; she is not pursuing him. Their relationship develops over a short period of time, with a few twists and turns, eventually giving them a hea. I would recommend this book, because Summer Cooper is a good storyteller.

Couldn't put it down. After losing his wife, Galen, is left to raise his 2 year old, then his custody is being jeopardized. What better than to get married and look like a stable home? But what happens when you fall in love with your fake wife? Tara is not your typical beauty but it's nice to know that he Galen can see past that to the beautiful person she is. A great story with lots of steam, love and twists. Author gave book to review.

I liked that this was not your typical professor/student forbidden romance. I really liked that Tara was written as a strong young woman who was not looking for a hero or blind to reality. A thoroughly enjoyable read! Galen and Tara are well rounded characters, shown with both their strengths and flaws. I received this book for a voluntary, completely honest and non incentivized review. My true rating for this book is 3.5 stars. Pros: secondary characters are good, plot twist is interesting. Cons: Galen doesn't even know his neighbor but trusts her to babysit his beloved daughter? Marries said person just because why again? Not sure how it got from A to B but towards the end it tied up nicely.
