Discovering Your Spiritual Connection with Animals

Danielle MacKinnon has done it again! I opened this book not knowing exactly what to expect but with an open mind because I have long loved Ms. MacKinnon's work, especially in regards to animals. As I started to work through the pages, I had quite a few "a-ha" moments. I chose to work with my current fur-baby, Shiloh. As it became clear exactly what his role in my life is, everything seemed to make so much sense. I am slowly working through all the other critters that have come into my life over the years. I'm actually seeing a theme, one that I would never have considered being present. It is obvious that I did not "rescue" all these animals but they, instead have been sent to rescue me. I would suggest that anyone who has found their hearts captured by a fur (or feathered) creature take the time to go through this book and do the lessons. This is not a book that you can simply read cover to cover. Take your time, be honest and let the information sink in. You won't be disappointed--and you will look at your housemates in a whole new way.

As soon as I started to read only the introduction, I was immediately drawn to the book - I felt like it spoke right from my soul! I even found myself crying at times, as the experiences and explanations resonate so strongly with me.

I believe this book should be in the shelf of every animal lover, specifically of dog, cat and horse owners, breeders, trainers, and I strongly recommend to animal health care professionals to read it as well, especially if they do care about true holistic approach to animals and communicating with them.

Danielle's book is heart warming, eye opening and fun at the same time!

It helped me deepen my interest in animal communication and after reading only the first few chapters, I began to understand what a true gift Animals have for us, if we are ready to listen to what they have to say.

After taking a workshop with Danielle I just had to buy every book she's written. Her workshop was like being in a space where threads of my life with animals wove together to make a beautiful tapestry. Everything seemed to fall into place, from past magical experiences with my beloved animals to the Ganesha chant. The books are doing the same thing. This book is just eye opening and amazing. I know I will read it again and again. I knew my 2 most recent dog rescues had changed my life... but this book helps me to see how they truly rescued me.

Danielle's capacity to clearly communicate to humans as well as animals shines through in her writing. Danielle walks you through the process of figuring out what specific lessons the animals in your life are teaching you. She also shares personal stories about her own experience with her animals and the experiences of people she has worked with to help us see the different ways animals can help us learn and grow. I have always known that the animals in my life helped me learn certain lessons but it wasn’t until they passed and with the passage of time that I was able to look at the big picture and discover what they had taught me. With Danielle’s book I have been able to bring that process to the present and have clarity about the specific ways that my dog is helping me to change my life. If you love your animals and want to deepen your connection to them, you will enjoy this book.

Danielle's work, including her latest book, are truly amazing and inspiring for every sentient being on this planet. "Become Your Best Self through the Wisdom of Animals" is truly a gift to all. It is well-written, clear, and filled with wonderful techniques and processes to help us move forward and transform. Danielle states in the Introduction "...animals are here to help us evolve and finally embrace unconditional love. Unconditional love for them -- and even more importantly, unconditional love for all, including ourselves." Providing humans with the ability to learn and evolve from animals, to achieve unconditional love, for animals, for other humans, and for ourselves, would truly change the world. It is my wish that everyone read this book. Thank you Danielle for all you do!

I cannot say enough about Danielle and this book. It truly is life changing and came to me at the perfect time in my life. I have always had a connection to animals and felt that our pets indeed choose us and have lessons to teach us. Danielle confirmed this for me and she takes you step by step through the process of discovering the lesson(s) the particular animal you have chosen to work with is there to teach you. Many aha moments going through this process, which ultimately strengthened my bond with my dog as well as helped me grow and heal. The beauty of this is all areas of your life are touched through this work.

I value Danielle’s work and this and this book is another addition to her great work. I love the book! And anyone who is an animal lover, working with animals or have an interest in intuitive work should buy it. I highly recommend it! Readers will gain knowledge of what is all about animal communication, learn simple and very useful techniques in energy management, animals language, connect with your own intuition and beyond that. And not at last will have lots of fun! This book is very well written and is the beginning of a new journey into animal kingdom though developing your intuition and telepathic skills. Danielle does it again! She takes a subject that has several pieces to it and manages to make it not only understandable, but easy to learn. Her examples are relatable and everything seems so common sense once broken down. Thank you for sharing so much of yourself to help others become who they want to be!

It invites the reader to explore these human-animal dynamics from a perspective of balance and personal growth, with a keen eye kept open to recognize everything they have to teach us about ourselves, the world in which we live, and life in general.

Reading this book completely opened my mind and changed the way I view every interaction with animals, especially my dogs. I've always believed animals were in our lives for a reason, but I had no idea how deep this reason went. I am loving my newfound curiousity and acceptance. I can't recommend this book enough!

I really enjoyed this book! Animals have been a big part of my life for years but no one has been able to explain the greater purpose of their role in my life quite like Danielle does in this book. I find Danielle's writing style easy to read and the tools she provides are simple and fun to use. I highly recommend this book for anyone who is curious to learn more about their favorite animal companion and experience a deeper connection to them.
