OMG this story was so incredibly good! I was hoping for a hot and steamy read...which I definitely got! What I hadn't expected was such a sweet and romantic story mixed with some creepy back story drama that made for a really complex and riveting story that I just didn't want to put down! Oh and definitely HOT and STEAMY!!!! Such a terrific story with a little bit of everything that is still making my heart melt...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I recommend this for anyone who thinks she doesn't like polyamory stories. Try it. You may be surprised . For those who are already fans of this genre, you'll love it like I did. Interesting twists and turns that surprised me. Well done.

Wicked story written in a mellow pace. I really enjoyed reading this first book. I'm so hooked here and I. Am . So glad that Gabby got her life back but even better with her cowboys. I enjoyed the banter with Matt And Mason and Grey wasn't so bad either and I only wished there was more about Car and Con with Gabby..

This an unusual ménage story that involves a young woman in the witness protection program running from a possessive maniac and how she meets the three McLendon brothers and falls in love. It also gives a different slant to family life as we know it but it is a romance story nonetheless and was well written and tastefully done.

Where do I begin? Who wouldn't want three gorgeous brothers hopelessly devoted to you. Claira is a strong character even though she doesn't feel she is. Then you have three very different brothers who are all wounded after the loss of their first wife all are automatically attracted to Claira, but she and Grey the oldest brother fight the attraction. All I can say is thank goodness they didn't fight it for long because this book has some of the most erotic scenes I have ever had the pleasure to read. If you like hot romance, read this book.

WOW! This story has it all. Painful pasts that need to be overcome, danger secrets & deadly enemies as well as enough twists & turns to turn your brain into pretzel. Oh and the steamy, naughty, absolutely sizzling sex... did I mention the sex?

If like menage romance, fast paced thrillers and COWBOYS, (we can't forget the COWBOYS) this is the book for you.

The Mclendon brothers are trying to fill a void and Claira needs the love of a good man (or three). Cowboys who are possessive, passionate, and protective are all covered so it ticks all the right boxes. D. L. Roan has me on the hook with the first book in the series and I’m chomping at the bit to grab the next one. I received this book at a discounted price for my honest and unbiased review.

This was well written with complex characters and a substantive plot. I would have given this a 5 if the author had spent a page or two explaining the polygamous family lifestyle - how it came to be and why it was apparently so easily accepted in their small town. While society has become more accepting in the last few years, three husbands to one wife is still pretty unusual and merited being explained.

Oh the sweet story of a damsel running from danger and falling in love with a brooding handsome man, a sweet joker, and a man who understands everything. Impossible to find this all in one man, right? Well Claira finds it in three brothers! Lucky for her, they like to share. I hope you enjoy their love affair as much as I did. Be forewarned, you'll be left wanting more.

Grab your Kleenex because this one is a tear jerker. Claira is on the run from some really bad men. The last thing she needed was to fall in love with not one, not two, but three of the sexiest men she'd ever seen. Claira, Matt, Mason, & Grey...ALL have a lot to overcome in their backgrounds & the "here and now". However, when you know you love someone (or 3), you KNOW & nothing or no one can stand in your way!!! All I can say is she is one LOVED/LUCKY lady. Little Con & Car are absolutely adorable too!! You will laugh, yell, & swoon all at the same time!! I highly reccommend this book (& a fan lol)!! ;)

I truly enjoyed this book. I loved all the characters & appreciate their hard fought battles to be together. A very sweet romance with an unconventional twist that only made it better. Very few editing errors. Great story arc & wrapped up ending. Very good read in my opinion.

Wow! This story had it all! Sexy sulking heroes, a loveable heroine in need of savings, adorable kids and puppies! There was murder and mystery and tons of action. Hot steamy sex scenes and sweet sweet love. I could not put this book down until the very end and it left me longing for more!!!

What an amazing book. To watch these four wonderful people find love with all the danger that surrounds them. This book will keep you on your toes with all the great suspense and keep your nose planted in your ereader until you are done. And the heat level will leave you fanning your self on occasion. Simply amazing! This is one of the few books that I couldn’t put down. Originally, I thought the description was too “out there”, but Roan made the story and characters likable and was even able to add a nice plot twist that left my mouth wide open! Additionally, it had exceptional grammar. This is a must read!

Omg I loved this book. I was scared, terrified, searching for the tissues. It had good, sexy scenes, BUT it also had a terrific story line that is missing in so many books that just have page after page of sex that you can actually get sick of it all. I've ordered the next book and intend to start reading it as soon as I'm done with this.

I devoured this book! This book is definitely NOT for everyone because the content is very racy and kinda raunchy. What I liked most was that I felt like I was reading a story about how people actually do things in real life and not a romanticized version of how people act. I will definitely be reading more by this author

For this type of story/novel, this was very good. Engaging characters, not too unbelievable a plot, although don't forget your suspension-of-disbelief. The writing is more than competent, and there are very few editing errors. This alone makes it flow better than most of this genre. It's read more from this author.

I ABSOLUTELY loved this book. The characters are amazing. Fell in love with them all. Very steamy book and I love that you get everyone's point of view and not just the girls. Will definitely be reading the other books.

I don't usually write reviews but this book heart of falcon ridge deserves it. D..L. Roan bought the characters to life, you'll laugh, cry and feel all the emotions that they are going through. I have found a new author and series to dive into.

I normally love romance stories. The hotter the better. The characters in the heart of falcon ridge book seemed fake and to instant. I couldn't get into it and I tried for a week. Just wasn't for me.

The McLendon family will have you wanting more when you read book 1 of their family saga. Grey, Mason, and Matt are three of the most charismatic characters I've read about in awhile. You won't want to put this book down.

Really enjoyed this book!! I love getting sucked into a book right from the first page and this book did it for me. Great story line, loved the characters (the boys are super protective and I absolutely love that) and love the extended family involvement. Great read and quickly became one of my favorite series.

I so enjoyed this story and was really pleasantly surprised to find a new author which such a rich and interesting voice and storyline. I was thoroughly entertained and looked forward to reading about the entire McLendon Family!

Most romances for me lack anything that makes me care to finish the book after the sex is over. That plots are usually weak and shallow and all the writing strength goes to the sex and romance. That's fine, just don't expect me to finish the book. Now The Hearth of Falcon Ridge was completely different. It actually made me care and like each character. It's not the strongest plot but the characters make up for it. Definitely a recommendation.

I started reading and could not stop until I finished the book. I will be checking out the other books in this series want to see what else happens. I am a romantic so I am a sucker for any kind of good romance book

I enjoyed this story and found the characters well developed and the story line kept me reading into the night to get to the end....Whewww oh to be Gabby/Claire with those three find brothers....I especially enjoyed the details and the length of the book....the story flowed and was not rushed like so many of those novelle with 100 pages or so.....I am going to be watching for more for the story of Grant.....Nice Job....

This sexy book had it all!!! Sexy hot cowboys, sweet caring teacher and a crazy mad man on the lookout ..... The heat between Grey, Mason, Matt and Claire/Gabby was so freaking hot I almost combusted reading the scorching scenes between them.... Looking forward to reading more from the family!!!

A lot transpires in this book that combines elements of romance, ménage, crime drama, ranch life, and more. There are a lot of interesting characters and a HEA. Looking forward to more from this author.
