Never Cross A Boss (Trust Issues Book 1)

Honestly, this isn't the typical hood story. Of course, you have the drug world, poor parenting, and bad choices represented. What really got me is this young girl dedicating herself to taking care of her younger siblings and not taking steps to become independent herself. So through all the other drama sure to take place as this story progresses in the following book /books, I hope she finds herself and her drive to be her best for herself and her siblings.

I received a free advanced review copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. It was very interesting. I couldn't put stop reading. Kayla's mom is something serious with herself. Marcus is acting all suspicious even after what happened to him and Kayla. I can't wait to read the next series.

I loved the storyline and the character's in this book, I do wish it was a little longer but that's ok starting on Never cross a boss 2 now. Please keep writing these stories Ms Higgins, I'm not that great at writing reviews but I love this authoress her books are wonderful.
