I was heartbroken when Jericho was cancelled and couldn't wait to read season 3. The quality of the book is outstanding. The paper is thick and glossy with beautiful color. The artwork is awesome. Most of the characters are depicted perfectly but they kind of missed the mark on a couple of them (Mimi, for example). The story is what I'd hoped it would be. It definitely satisfied my need for more Jericho. I'm hoping for a season 4. There is so MUCH more story to tell and a lot of it is relevant to today's political climate. If you liked Jericho, you will not regret getting Season 3.

Apparently there is still a decent chance they will film season 3 as a movie. Obviously high sales of this book will help the cause. If you are a Jericho fan this high quality compilation of the 6 season 3 "episodes" is a must have.

I am definitely not a comic book person, but Jericho was one of my all time favorite TV shows, so I had to buy this graphic novel. It was great to get a continuation of the story, and maybe someday we'll get a movie. :)

Due to the nature of comics, it runs pretty fast, so there isn't nearly the same amount of suspense as the show had. The artwork wasn't bad, and the story was I'd say 7 out of 10. So good, but nowhere perfect.

I never saw "Jericho" when it aired. A friend shared this series with me and I just loved it. I've watched the show several times now, beginning to (sadly) the end.
It is a fantastic series and I'm very pleased to see season 3 is out, even if it is in this form... I'll take it!
I too, don't believe the "low ratings" line CBS stated, it is too good of a series and has too many fans for this to be the case.
Bad ratings...yeah tell me another one...
To the authors, producers, etc. thank you so much for the book / update.

awesome story line... awesome characters.... PLEASE BRING THE SHOW BACK. I would say more about the book but you have to read it yourself. I mean especially if you are a Jericho fan you won't be disappointed.

This provides some extension from the end of season 2. Totally worth it in my opinion. If you're a fan of the show then you can't be happy where they left off. This is a must have if you dislike the series cliff hanger as much as I did.

I loved this comic, it was an acceptable replacement for the TV series (although I would prefer the later). I am a little concerned with the cliff hanger ending, wondering if we will ever get to see the end.

Jericho was the best show on television. The show was meaningful and had a compelling storyline with an outstanding cast of actors! Even after the show was cancelled its legion of fans continue to follow the show which has now continued in the form of a comic book series.
The comic books pick up where the story left off. It depicts how people get together and what they have to do to survive the aftermath of the worst disaster imaginable - the nuclear bombing of 23 American cities.
This Graphic Novel combines all of the comic book issues into one beautifully done exciting book. A definite must read whether you were previously a Jericho fan or just want to read a well done exciting story.
Jericho should never have been cancelled in the first place. The show is missed dearly by all of its fans. We are extremely grateful for the Comic Book Series. A special thanks to IDW for keeping Jericho alive for the fans. There is also talk of a possible Jericho Movie!

I'll give Jericho the graphic novel two stars because the art work is very good. But the writing is uninspired hack work. There's no creative thought given to the plotline, which is just a series of improbable MacGyver-like prison breaks and hostage rescues with a lot of shooting and punching. Throw in some tedious political intrigue and you have the perfect continuation of Jericho's second season. Is it too much to expect an occasional surprise or a twist that makes you think 'hey, that was clever and original'? Forget about it; you won't find anything original or clever here.
This TV series started with promise, examining how people cope with a nuclear disaster; there was some psychological depth to it. Unfortunately, by the second season it had deteriorated into formulaic television. It seemed every episode centered around the shoot-em-up rescue of some heroes unjustly held captive - (Petticoat Junction meets Mission Impossible). The graphic novel continues that course and ends with nothing resolved. They were clearly hoping to continue the series. Mercifully, lack of interest has saved us from that fate.

Understand that a graphic novel is a collection of comic books, and TP stands for trade paperback. If people would stop leaving negative reviews because they not understand what they are ordering. Jericho Season Three: Civil War is a great continuation of the Jericho world. The characters remain true to form and almost all of the characters from the television shows are included in the story. All in all this is a very great read and I urge you to order the graphic novel even if you have the comics in order to help continue the Jericho Saga.

What a waste of time and money, terribly written story, I usually keep books but this is going right on ebay. The TV show was great, really enjoyed it, I had high hopes for this book. The storyline is just stupid, the writing is mediocre. Do yourself a favor an just watch the DVD of the show and let it end where it did, this book doesn't help.
